The Only Thing Different is the Way I Feel About You

It’s Monday, you wake and get dress and make sure you look good for the first time being at this school. You go shake Todd.

“Urg go away,” Todd said.
“Come on school already started,” You said.
“Ok fine.”

You get all your files you would need to start a school. You put shoes on and head downstairs know you won’t start today. Todd comes down and you go in his truck he drives to the school. You get out and go to the office. You guys get sent to a guidance consoler.

“Hello Mr. Potter,” The Guidance consoler said.
“Hello,” Todd said.

You smile seeing him moving around.

“You have a perfect record Annabella,” She said.
“Thank you,” You said.
“So there is English, Government or Eco.”
“Government I already took ECO at my old school.”
“Ok very good, then for Math?”
“Cal BC, but can I take two?”
“Let’s see ok.”
“Ok.”
“You got enough science credit, so now electives and you need at less two.”
“I want Stats, photo.”
“Ok very good, so here is your times, locker, map. You got to fill these out Mr. Potter. You can get your ID and Books at the library.”
“Ok, here Todd”

He hands it to you and you fill it out knowing he isn’t fully awake. You hand it to him and told him where to sign at. He hands it to the lady.

“I will be glad to see you in the morning. Here are class times and a agenda telling you all late starts, early days and everything like that, do you want an off campus pass?” She asks you.
“Yes she does,” Todd said.

You smile and filled it out he signs it and you guys go to the library. You get your book you put the books away in your locker. You guys go home and look at the times you got.

“Cool go in at 7 and come home at 12,” You said.
“That’s early,” Todd yawns out.
“Go back to bed.”
“Ok fine.”

The door bell rings. Todd sighs and goes get it.

“Shit,” Todd said.
“Forgot something?” you ask.
“No”

You laugh and smile seeing Ryan.

“Hello Ryan,” you said.
“Hey Anna, Are you coming Todd?” Ryan asks.
“yeah want to join us?” Todd asks you.
“What you guys doing?” You ask.
“Going to ride the hills.”
“Sure thing.”

You get 2 Rockstars and go and give it to Todd. He smiles and kisses your head. You guys head out side.

“You ridding with Ronnie in his car,” Ryan said.
“why are you guys pairing up?” You ask.
“To save gas and help the planet.”

You laugh and Ryan smiles at you.

“Ronnie only has two seats in his car,” You said.
“Shit we got to take my,” Todd said.
“No I’m already loaded up,” Ronnie said.
“But Anna isn’t going to be able to come.”
“She can come with me,” Ryan said.

You look at Ryan and know he is planning something.

“Who you riding with?” You ask.
“Someone,” Ryan said.
“Let me go get some things I be two minutes.”
“Sure thing.”

You go upstairs and get a book you are reading. You put a hat on and you see other door. You go in and see a closet you see it’s fully with all Mulisha gear. You grab a sweeter and go downstairs. You get in Ryan’s car and see Cam in the front and Jacko in the back. You sign and look at Ryan.

“What?” Ryan asks.
“Why do you like to bug people like my brother?” You ask.
“What he got against Jacko anyway?”
“He is close to my age.”
“That’s all really?” Cam asks.
“It’s Todd, He doesn’t think logical,” Ryan said.

You laugh and open your book and start reading. You guys get out and you go and sit down on Ronnie’s bed.

“Jacko was in the car HAGY?” Todd yells.
“She didn’t talk to him once, she didn’t talk to Cam, she said two things to me”
“Good.”
“Lighten up, they stop doing this,” You said.
“I don’t like how he looks at you,” Todd said.
“There is a reason for this madness,” Ronnei said.

You laugh at Ronnie and you look and see Jacko changing in to his gear. He didn’t have his jersey on making your heart start racing and your mind not paying attention to anything else.

“Anna, are you ok?” Ronnie asks.
“Hungry, I forgot about breakfast,” You said.
“Oh we got snacks, let me get a Bar for you.”
“Thanks Ronnie.”
“No problem.”

He goes and hands you a power bar and water. You take them and eat it fast. Twitch and Colin came up. You look and see the other members are already here.

“Going to sit there?” Todd asks.
“Yeah why?” You ask.
“Just asking, but have fun.”
“Thanks you too, Todd.”

Todd looks at you.

“Be careful Bro,” you said.

He smirk at you.

“I won’t get hurt a lot Baby Girl,” Todd said.

You look at him.

“I won’t get hurt,” Todd said.
“Much better,” You said.

He laughs and you smile at him. You sit down in the bed and start reading your book again. You hear a bike coming up. You look up and see Jacko. He gets off his bike and smile at you before he hops up.

“You quiting for the day?” you ask.
“No, need water,” Jacko said.

You smile and open the ice chest and hand one to him.

“Thank you Sheila,” Jacko said.
“No problem,” You said.
“So will Todd ever come around?” Jacko ask.
“Um most likely not since he is set against you.”
“Oh ok.”
“Why you care?”
“He is kinda scary and before he was fun to be around. Then he was teaching me how to do whips.”
“He will help you soon enough.”

“What you are two talking about?” Todd asks.
“You, coming around to stop being mean to him every time he is around,” You said.
“Um?”
“You will go back to training him.”
“Who said I will?”

You look at him and he laughs. Jacko looks at him.

“Is everything alright?” Ronnie asks.
“Yeah, I loosen up on him I guess. Where the food at?” Todd asks.
“Inside.”
“Thanks, want a sandwich?”
“Um yeah,” You said.
“Here, you go.”
“Thanks.”

You grab the sandwich and smile at Todd. He smiles at you then take a bit of his sandwich.

“We will be here for a while, so you want to go closer?” Todd ask.
“No I’m good here,” You said.
“Ok.”

You smile and kiss his cheek.

“I’m fine Bro don’t get hurt ok,” You said.
“Ok fine.”

You smile and he drives off. You eat the sandwich and smile seeing Jacko ridding off with Todd and hearing Todd Laugh. You fell asleep and you feel yourself getting picked up.

“Here Jacko, get her in the truck,” Ronnie said.

You get pass. You open your eyes and see Jacko caring you to Ryan’s truck.

“You still want me to carry you Sheila?” Jacko ask.
“Please,” You whisper.
“Ok, but you got to get in the truck yourself. It’s hard for the tuck in the back.”
“I know.”

You climb in the truck form his arms and you lean against the window again. Todd comes in and looks at you.

“Baby girl,” Todd said.
“I’m tired,” You said.
“I know, maybe this wasn’t such a good idea to do on the day before you start school.”
“It’s fine.”

You fall asleep again on the road.
