I heard his car pull up. The sky was a steady drizzle. I heard him knock and my mom answering. I heard all this from under my bed. Then. Came the knock on my door. "sapphire. Listen. I need to talk to you" after a minute he came in. he didn't see me but he knew I was here. He sat on my bed and placed his head in his hands. "alright IL just talk to the air" he laid back on my bed. It sank where I was laying under it. "she tripped on me. I hate her sappy. I really do. She wanted to hurt your feelings. I don't. Your the best thing that's happen to me. The truth is." He sat up as if he just thought something important. "I'm in love with you." He said more to himself then me. I scooted out. My hair was a mess. My eyes were red. "i love you to" and we sat together cuddling and apologizing. Finally when everything seemed fixed and okay Jessy showed up.
