Soon You'll Scream My Name

The next morning I made sure that I woke up early so I could get ready before Ashton wakes up and asks me what I'll be doing for the day. He doesn't need to know just yet. I tap toed across the wooden floor of my bedroom and slowly pulled open the door. I peeked my head out into the hall and sighed with relief. No loud music or television is on. Ashton is still asleep; for now. I rushed to my closet and pulled out whatever parts of clothing my hands touched. I then hurried down the hall to the bathroom and shut the door. I took the quickest shower I could and got out. I pulled my clothes on and I back in the hall within ten minutes. As I was walking back to my room to get my shoes, I heard a door squeaking open. My eyes widened.
That's Ashton's fucking door!
I slid down the hall in my socks and quickly into my room. I closed the door then pressed my back up against it; holding my breath. On the other side of the white door I heard bare feet hitting the floor and walking by. When they hit the stairs I slipped on my DC shoes and grabbed my keys. I slowly made my way down the stairs, and when I hit the carpet floor I picked up my pace to the front door.
"Dakota, that you?"
Fuck! "Yeah," I called. "You awake this early, Ash?"
I walked into the kitchen to find Ashton sitting at the middle counter in boxers and a white V-neck.
He nodded at he put a spoon full of Fruit Loops in his mouth.
"So what are we gonna do today?" He asked after he swallowed.
I bit my bottom lip and leaned against the door frame.
"Well, Caroline just called me and asked me to come pick her up. We're going to go see a movie."
Ashton looked up at me, then back down at the green bowel.
"Oh, that's cool. I guess I call up Payton and see if he wants to hang out."
I nodded. "That'd be cool. When was the last time you spoke to him anyway?"
Ashton shrugged. "Probably a week, maybe couple days."
"Damn. You two were never apart unless one of you were getting laid."
He glared. "I know, I kind of miss the little fuck."
I smiled. "Why don't you invite him over for tonight? I could bright Caroline over and I could pick up Delta and her friends as well. You can invite Stacie, Maddy and Charmaine if you want. It could be a little get together."
His jaw dropped.
"You know Charmaine hates Delta, right?"
I smirked and nodded. "Yeah, why?"
"They'll kill each other."
I raised an eye brow. "Delta will beat her ass."
Ashton went quiet. I shook my head and turned to head for the door.
This kid doesn't even know who to fucking be on a side with. I mean it's-
"Dakota!"
Right when my head hit the door knob.
Ashton was standing in the door way of the kitchen to the living room.
"What?" I asked.
"I want to answer the question you asked me last night, in the car."
I looked up at the ceiling; trying to recall what I had asked him.
Leaning against the door, I asked, "What would your answer be, big brother?"
