Daredevil Frank Iero jumped at the chance to be one of the first humans to be frozen and then brought back. He was told he would only be in for a year, however, when he finally emerges from the ice, he realizes that nearly thirty years has passed. His wife is gone, the two daughters he never knew he had was all grown up with lives of their own, and his friends were much older than him.
Deciding he was a burden, he leaves them to explore the wonder that is the year 2041. Along the way, he meets Agliera, a woman wanting to get away from the life of a servant, the only life she knew.
With his friends and her family on their trail, can they survive their escape from the future?
