Late at Night...
Chapter 1: Who is it?
Chapter 1:
Abbie’s POV:
“Who is it? Who’s there?” I ask, trying to sound strong, but I sounded weak, even to myself.
Swish. I turn around quickly. Once again I saw only darkness. I didn’t like being in dark allies, especially alone at night. But I had to take the quickest route home before my parents grounded me for life for missing my curfew.
I was pretty frightened now. I quickened my pace, heading for my house.
“Abbie.”
What was that?! I shivered as the icy wind breathed on my skin. That wasn’t my name that I heard. That wasn’t Abbie that it said. It was just the wind. Howling. And it sounded like Abbie to me because I’m just a little spooked. Nothing to be afraid of…
“BE AFRAID!” It hissed evilly. This was louder and clearer and I had to fight for my insides to keep from jumping out of my skin.
The wind grew deafeningly loud. I scream at it, “What do you want from me!”
No words reply. The only reply I get is the wind getting louder. I didn’t think that was possible.
I fall to the ground, on my knees, and begin to cry out of pure fear. The wind once again grows louder as I begin to lose control and change into my true form…
