My dad let me go on tour with Zach’s band. My aunt had moved around the block from us so she watches Cade a lot now. I’ve gotten very close to all of the guys over the past few months. We always hang out together. But Zach and my relationship wasn’t normal. If you didn’t know us you would say we were dating. However we were not. But we are extremely flirty with each other.

Since there were not enough bunks on the bus Zach insisted that I shared with him. So ever morning I wake up to Zach kissing some part of my body, however we have never kissed. This morning, for example, I woke up to Zach gently giving me a hicky on my left shoulder.

“Mmm.” I turned my head to look at him.

“Morning beautiful.” He stopped and smiled.

“Why do you always give me hickies where people can see them?”

“Because I want people to know…”

“Know what?” it was obvious that Zach and I liked each other but he wanted to stay single for his job and he didn’t want me to get hurt. But he was always protective of my. He would flip out if there was ever a guy from school over my house. He would always come over after they left and try to find out what happened. He freaked out when he saw my friend John tried to kiss me. It was funny though.

“Nothing.”

“I still don’t get this whole thing. I’m going to get hurt no matter what.”

“It’s different. I don’t want to talk about this right now!” he rolled over and jumped out of the bunk and waited for me to fallow.

“Sorry.” I said as I jumped down.

“It’s fine.” He kissed my forehead. “Let’s go eat.”

We walked up to the kitchen area and sat at the both. Nathan, Cam and Michael were already sitting there so Zach sat in the open seat and I sat on his lap.

“Nice hicky.” Mikey pointed out.

“Thanks.” I said sarcastically as Zach kissed it.

“Honestly you two just need to get married already.” Nathan teased. I shook my head at him. Zach tapped my waist indicating that he wanted to get up. So I let him. He stormed off to the back.

“What’s wrong with him this morning?” Cam asked.

“Sensitive subject. Plus I already brought it up right before we came out here.”

“Oh sorry.” Nathan said.

“It’s fine. He’ll get over it. I just wished he would open his eyes a little more and make this whole thing official.”

“I’m gonna go talk to my homeboy.” Mikey said as I let him out.
