I Can't Believe You're with Me after Dark

You wake up to Haven screaming again. Jacko looks at you.

“Tobias isn’t annoying like her,” Jacko mumble out.

You hear Tobias whimpering from the monitor. Jacko gets up and leaves. You grab your phone and call Todd.

“Yes,” Todd asks.
“Please say me and Jacko can spend some time sleeping at your house,” You ask.
“Haven still waking up?”
“It’s waking Tobias up also.”
“You got to cook. Ashleigh already left and come to my spot all three of you.”
“I got to do some things.”
“What?”
“I got to get the locks for our room and the garage.”
“That won’t take long.”
“I know.”

Jacko comes in and looks at you. You smile at him.

“Come over bye,” Todd said.
“Bye,” You said.

You hang up and kiss Jacko’s lips.

“We are going to Todd. You need to ride,” You said.
“I get things,” Jacko said.
“Dress and we can sleep there.”
“Thank god.”

You laugh and go and grab clothes and Tobias’s favorite kangaroo that Bilko got him from the baby shower.

“What are you in?” Vicky asks.
“Um,” you said.

You look and see you just in one of Jacko’s tank tops.

“Jacko’s shirt, this is my house. We got something to do ok,” You said.
“Ok,” Vicky said.

You go inside and throw a dress on the bed and put shorts on. Jacko hands you a hoddie. You smile and put the clothes in a bag. You grab Tobias and put him under the jacket and go in the kitchen and grab food for him and go in the truck. You put Tobias in and Jacko drove to Todd’s. You get out and Todd comes and grabs Tobias.

“You guys are tired,” Todd said.
“It’s every two hours she is waking up,” you said.
“Haven is annoying Joey,” Jacko said.

Jacko lay on the couch.

“I thought you take the guest bed I set the crib in bed threw there,” Todd said.
“Thanks,” Jacko said.
“Take him to the room ok Jacko,” You said.

Jacko grabs him and go to the guest room. Todd looks at you.

“What up? He seems detached from you,” Todd said.
“Two nights of heaven waking Tobias up,” you said.
“Does he deal with him?”
“What Todd?”
“Jacko does he get mad when Tobias wakes up himself up when he cries?”
“No, he never really has. I mean he said mean stuff when we were going down, but Toddie I think Vicky likes him.”
“Get him to put a shirt on in the house because it’s just there for a desperate girl to make things in her mind ok.”
“Ok.”

Your phone rings. Todd grabs it and pushes you to the room. You go to the room and take off the hoddie and lay down. Jacko warps an arm around you.

“Jacko,” you said.
“Um?” Jacko mumble out.
“When we home and Vicky there can you put a shirt on?”
“I don’t like them.”
“I think my cousin start wanting you.”
“I want my Sheila.”
“I know but,”
“I do it but when we in Australia”
“You can walk around in boxers any time you want.”
“Yes.”

You laugh and cuddle in his chest. Tobias starts whining. Jacko sits up and take him out of the crib. You take him and lay him down next to you. He stops. You go to sleep.

You wake up to yelling going on. You sit up and don’t see Jacko. You get Tobias’s from the crib since he was crying. You open the door and walk out. Todd and Jacko smiles at you.

“Why are you guys yelling?” You ask.
“Watching some football game,” Jacko said.
“Here watch him you two.”

You hand Tobias to Todd before going in the kitchen and start cooking pancakes.

“What you make for breakfast?” Jacko ask.
“Pancakes, eggs.”
“Sounds good.”

You smile and he kisses your lips.

“Guys this isn’t your house you can’t be making out,” Todd said.
“We are not Todd,” You said.
“Tell them they lying.”
“No we not. Don’t turn my son around on me and his mum,” Jacko said.
“Mom.”
“Mum”

“Stop it,” You said.
“Fine,” Jacko said.
“Mom,” Todd said.
“Todd Potter,” you said.
“Fine.”

You smile and hand Jacko a plate.

“There you go, his food should be in his bag. Can you get it?” You ask.
“Yeah,” Jacko said.

He goes and gets the bag and he grabs the food and come up and set Tobias’s in the high chair. Todd sits down.

“Do you have everything for him in Australia?” Todd asks.
“Yeah we almost ready,” you said.
“What’s not done?”
“Packing some clothes and the locks for our major doors.”
“Right,”

There is a knock on the door. Todd goes and gets it .you sit down and smile seeing Jacko feeding Tobias. Jacko smiles at you.

“All done cooking,” Jacko ask.
“Yeah, I buy the locks while you are riding and then there anything else you need?” You ask.
“Nope I got everything I need,” Jacko said.

You smile and kiss his lips.

“He needs more food,” You said.
“Ok so locks and more food then you come watch me ride?” Jacko ask.
“Yeah.”

You smile at Jacko. He leads over and kisses your cheek.

“You are the best Sheila,” Jacko said.
“Thank you,” you said.

Todd comes with Jeff.

“Hey OX,” You said.
“Hey Anna, what are you all doing here?” Jeff asks.
“I let a cousin stay and her baby is waking us up to much during the night.”
“At seven they call it quits.”
“It’s annoying,” Jacko said.
“What about your sons cries?”
“They are annoying but not in this way.”
“They annoying still do you take care of him or just yell at Anna?”
“I try to.”

You pat Jacko’s back seeing what he talking about.

“He is a good father,” You said.
“Yeah, great father,” Todd snapped back.

You look at Todd knowing he still doesn’t trust Jacko.

“So is the little guy talking?” Jeff asks.
“A little, he says dada Perfect and that’s about it,” You said.
“Not mom?”
“Nope I think people confuses him.”
“What?”
“I have you guys calling me mom and then I have Jacko and Bilko and the Australian people calling Mum. He doesn’t know what to call me.”
“What do you want to be called?”
“I don’t care. I just want him to say more. I’m working with him.”
“How’s the head?”
“It’s good. He every once in awhile will touch the stitches but they itch so that’s why.”
“Yeah good point. He is a little trooper.”

You kiss Tobias’s forehead before going to the kitchen and start eating.

“When are you guys going to ride?” You ask.
“Soon, Jacko wanted to make sure he saw you before we left. You are coming right?” Todd asks.
“Yes, just got to be a little later,” You said.
“I have this strong thinking that she not going to come,” Jeff said.
“I know I have that too,” Todd said.

Jacko looks at you.

“I am going to come you idiots,” you said.
“We are the idiots? You the one who don’t come around anymore,” Jeff siad.
“Urg, I need to get ready.”
“It’s us.”
“I have things to do.”

You go to the room and put the dress on. You grab the hoddie and brush your hair. You go out to the guys and Tobias smiles at you. You kiss his forehead.

“Hey baby,” You said.
“Dada,” Tobias said.
“He is right there.”

You point to Jacko and Tobias laughs. You pick him up. You go inside the room and change Tobias. You brought him out and set him on the floor. He crawls to Jacko. Jacko grabs him and start playing with him.

“Are you guys going go riding then?” You ask.
“Yeah I got to pack my truck,” Jacko said.

“Are you ready to leave?” Todd asks.
“Yeah, let’s go see you guys when I get back from the things,” You said.
“She’s not going to come. She didn’t come yesterday,” Todd mumbles out.
“I was watching Haven yesterday shut up,” You said.
“Fine bye.”
“Bye.”

You hug Jeff and Todd. Jacko gets up and you grab the bag you brought. You walk to the truck and Jacko gets in.

“Things?” Jacko ask.
“Lock, pack and get baby food. I just got to make sure I got enough for him on the plane. I also got to check on everything,” You said.
“Ok, do you just want to drop me off?”
“Nope you typical need the car to get back. He has a nap.”
“Right.”

You kiss his cheek. He drove home. You get out and Jacko Grabs Tobias and hands him to you.

“Say Mum,” Jacko told Tobias.
“Dada,” Tobias said.

You laugh and grab Tobias. Jacko looks at you and you pat his cheek. You go in the house and see Haven crawling around.

“Hello,” Vicky said.
“Hi, are you working today?” You ask.
“Yeah, Wanda should be here soon to watch Haven.”
“Ok come on baby boy we go to get everything to go.”

“Dada,” Tobias said.
“Yeah to go to Dada’s home,” You said.

You kiss his forehead and set Tobias on the floor in the room. You go and pack of bag of clothes you like. You then put everything else in the boxes. You did the same for Jacko. You grab Tobias and put all your jewelry in the bag. You put on make-up then pick Tobias up and got him the big dipper bag than pack it for the plane. You put his clothes in a other bag and put them in your room next to yours and Jacko’s. You go down stairs and see a girl holding Haven.

“Hello,” You said.
“HI I’m Wanda,” The girl said.
“Anna.”
“It’s nice to meet you.”
“You too.”

Vicky comes down and kisses Haven’s head and smiles at her.

“Ok this is my cousin Anna and her son Tobias,” Vicky said.
“Am I going to watch him?” Wanda asks.
“No I got him under control, I’m leaving.”
“OK bye then.”
“Bye”

You go out and Vicky looks at you.

“You don’t have to rub it in,” Vicky said.
“What?” You ask.
“That I’m not taking care of Haven.”
“I’m not rubbing it in. I understand you have to work.”
“While it’s not like you work.”
“Shut up, ok I work. Just because to you it looks like I’m playing on the computer doesn’t mean it’s not work.”
“It’s not anything serious. You never had a serious job in your life.”
“Yeah bye Vicky.”

You get Tobias in your car and drive to the hardware store. You get Tobias out and go inside.

“Hello would you like any help?” The guys ask.
“Locks,” You ask.
“Over here.”
“Thanks.”

You grab the locks you want and go and pay for them. You go out and go to the store to get some baby stuff you might need for the plane. You call Jacko noticing it’s a little after noon.

“Hey,” Jacko said.
“While I just finish up, do you want me to pick food up for you?” You said.
“Ashleigh came and brought pizza.”
“Ok I’m going to grab something then come ok.”
“Ok bye.”
“Bye.”

You hang up and drive and get McDonalds and drive to Todd’s spot. You get out and grab Tobias. You walk and see the guys all on their tail gates. Ashleigh smiles at you.

“I brought piazza,” Ashleigh said.
“Didn’t fell like it so I got my lunch,” You said.
“Ok, here I hold him while you eat.”
“Where is Todd and Jeff?”
“Over there”

You run and tackle Todd to the ground.

“Ha I came,” You said.
“Dame it,” Todd said.
“Told you.”

“You didn’t see us ride ha,” Jeff said.
“You going to ride after lunch so ha,” You said.

You get up and go over to Jacko and sit down.

“Everything is done?” Jacko ask.
“Yep dame I forgot to check on things,” You said.
“You do that when you get back.”
“I got to locks.”
“I put them on after I take a shower.”
“Ok.”

You kiss his lips. He brought you closer to him. You look and see a car pull up.

“Who’s car is that?” You ask.

He looks and get up and go to that car. You sigh and see a guy get out. Jacko did a man hug with him.

“Ashleigh who is that?” You ask.
“Seth,” Ashleigh said.
“Oh ok.”

Ashleigh pats your back and put Tobias in the bed.

“How are you with Vicky?” Ashleigh asks.
“She says I rubbing it in that I’m watching Tobias,” you said.
“You know I don’t really like her.”
“I know she just isn’t your type of person.”
“I just don’t trust her.”
“I know, we buying new locks to keep her out of our room and the garage.”
“The garage.”
“It’s Jacko’s, the only time I park in it is when it’s raining.”
“But he keeps his bikes so you can park.”
“Yeah but I just know he works out and that door.”
“I know what you mean it’s noisy.”

You nod your head and gave Tobias a little French fry.

“Why are you guys moving for real?” Ashleigh asks.
“The guys just are not nice to Jacko. I never knew anyone notice me and him fighting.”
“It was the girl that came here.”
“You know about that?”
“She came a lot of the time.”
“Tell me, I’m scared to ask Jacko and Todd.”
“Ok this is the thing ok.”
“What is it?”
“Jacko never did anything with her but you know how you would go and give him a drink of water when he needs it and be with him when he was watching?”
“Yeah.”
“She did that. I know she came around when you were here a few times and Jacko has made sure to keep her away from you but not like you hiding her. Todd says it was like that but I believe it’s was because he was afraid of what you were thinking with her coming more he didn’t want you around while she was coming.”
“Thanks.”
“No problem, and she is here.”

You look and see a white car come in.

“That is a stupid car to have to be driving on dirt,” You said.
“She is a stupid girl,” Ashleigh said.

You laugh and get up and close the gate to play with Tobias. He crawls up and pull himself up.

“Mamma,” Tobias said.

You pick him up and go to Jacko.

“Hey this is Seth, Seth this is Anna and Tobias,” Jacko said.
“Hello,” You said.
“Hi,” Seth said.

“Dada,” Tobias said.
“Hey Joey,” Jacko said.

Jacko takes him from you and kiss his forehead.

“What happen?” Jacko ask.
“He said Mamma,” You said.

Jacko looks at you and point to you.

“Who is that Joey?” Jacko ask.
“Mamma,” Tobias said.
“Good little Joey.”

Jacko kiss his forehead and warps an arm around you and hand you Tobias.

“So do you ride Anna?” Seth asks.
“No, I just don’t like the stability they give,” You said.
“Makes sense do you know how?”
“Yeah Todd taught when I start high school.”
“You are that Anna.”

You smile and he hugs you.

“I remember you when Todd first came around. You stop coming for a while and I stop coming,” Seth said.
“Yeah some of the guys didn’t really rub me the right way,” you said.
“Some of the guys?”
“I was scared of Lusk.”

He looks at you.

“Really?” He asks.
“Yeah, I never really know why but I was so I kept away from him,” You said.
“Interesting, I just stop wanting to hang around with idiots.”

You laugh a little.

“Hi Jacko,” Emily said.
“Hello Emily,” You said.

You look at Jacko and know he is worried.

“Hi Anna,” Emily said.
“Hello Emily,” You said.
“Aw the little bastard is cute.”

You look at her.

“What did you call my son?” You ask.
“A bastard I mean he was made out of wedlock. He is the only reason why Jacko hasn’t dumped you,” Emily said.
“You called my son a bastard?” You said.
“He was a mistake.”
“Hold him babe.”

Jacko takes Tobias and you punch Emily straight in the face. She looks at you.

“Don’t insult my son. He was a great mistake and so what if he is a bastard.” You said.
“He is going to tear your life up since you going to try to stay with Jacko,” Emily said.

You punch her again and she starts pulling your hair. You wince and kick her away. Jacko grabs you and pull you tight against him.

“Leave Emily,” Jacko said.
“No I don’t have to,” Emily said.
“Yes you do, I own this land and It’s private,” Todd said.

“Hi Toddie,” Emily said.
“I don’t want to see you here again or we going to do something to you,” Todd said.
“Something like what Todd?”
“I don’t know something.”

You look at Jacko and he kisses your forehead.

“Are you alright?” Jacko ask.
“I’m fine,” You said.
“Good,” Jacko said.

Tobias start crying. You grab him and start bouncing him.

“You going to go soon?” Jacko ask.
“He needs his nap. I save packing for when he is sleeping,” You said.

Jacko laughs and kiss your forehead.

“Just go, it’s fine,” Jacko said.
“Ok,” You said.

“You leaving already?” Todd asks.
“He needs a nap bye,” You said.
“Bye.”

You hug Todd and put Tobias in your car. You get in and drove home. You go and put the locks on the table and go and put Tobias to bed. You go down and start checking up on everything that’s been shipped. Tobias start wimping from his bed. You put things away and grab him. You smile and drive to Todd’s and see the guys riding. You get him out and sit on Jacko’s bed while Tobias crawls in the bed. Jacko comes and smiles at you.

“Hey,” Jacko said.
“Hey,” You said.

You kiss his lips.

“Dada,” Tobias said.

Jacko grabs him.

“Can I take him for a ride?” Jacko ask.
“Hold on to him tight,” you said.
“Ok.”

He set Tobias in the bed again and brought his bike over to the truck. You pick him up and Jacko grabs him. You grab your camera and take pictures of them on the bike. You smile and Jacko hands you Tobias.

“He enjoys it,” Jacko said.
“That’s good,” You said.

You smile and Tobias kisses your forehead. You giggle and kiss his.

“I’m leaving,” You said.
“You came back,” Todd said.
“Told you I was going to watch you.”
“Fine.”
“Can you take us to the airport tomorrow?”
“Yeah, what time?”
“We need to leave at seven it’s the night.”
“Ok sure thing.”
“Ok bye.”
“Bye.”

You hug him and put Tobias in and drive home. You get home and see Haven in the crib and Wanda asleep. You shake her.

“Sorry, Haven just worn me out,” You said.
“Its fine, I understand. Vicky will be home soon,” You said.
“Thanks, the little guys say much does he?”
“Not a lot.”
“Dada.”
“Is he around?”
“Yeah, he’s coming home soon.”

Jacko comes in and Tobias starts fighting your arm.

“Joey I got to take a shower,” Jacko said.
“No Dada,” Tobias said.
“Come on then,”

Jacko takes him and go to the garage.

“Where is the rest of my Gear?” Jacko yells out the door.
“Bag, and boxes,” You said.
“Where does this go?”
“Box.”
“Fine.”
“I got it.”
“When are you taking them in?”
“Tomorrow before we leave.”

He looks at you and shakes his head before looking at Wanda.

“Who that?” Jacko ask.
“This is Haven’s baby sitter,” You said.
“OK come on Joey.”

He leaves and Vicky comes in and looks at you.

“Hello,” Vicky said.
“Hello, You said.
“Thank you Wanda.”
“No problem,” Wanda said.

She eaves at you and leaves. Vicky looks at haven and smiles at you.

“Where is Tobias?” Vicky asks.
“Garage with Jacko,” You said.
“The baby is allowed in there?”
“Yes, he is safe with his dad watching him.”
“You had to take him to the hospital.”

You get up and go out to the garage and see Jacko talking about the bike to Tobias. You smile and sit next to him. Jacko kiss your forehead.

“She gets you mad,” Jacko said.
“Her kid is a brat and she is one. I feel bad for saying she can stay while we out. I got a lock for Tobias room too. It’s up to you to say if she can keep it or not,” You said.
“I move everything to our room. it can fit fine just say she got the room.”
“Ok, I get the little things I know we don’t really want to travel with us. Like some toys he likes but we hate.”
“The little thing Todd got him after we told him?”
“Yes the singing lion is gone.”
“Great.”

You laugh and stood up with Jacko. You guys go inside and he start heading upstairs.

“Do you want me to get the tools?” You ask.
“No calm down, if you have a inch to do something go get dinner started,” Jacko said.
“Is my job a cook?”

He looks at you and you smile at him.

“I love you,” Jacko said.

He laughs and kisses your lips.

“I’m going to double check and do some more laundry,” You said.
“Ok, Promise me one thing,” Jacko ask.

You look at him.

“You start drawing again and just not being a mother and my love that you have something that’s just you ok,” Jacko said.
“Ok, I need things,” You said.
“I know a good place that Heather loves. I will even foot the bill.”
“Its fine love like we don’t share money.”
“True and we the cut of pieces everything will be good.”
“Can the cars be park in the garage?”
“Yeah, Hill needs a new truck anyways.”
“His van is breaking down again?”
“Yeah he took it in and it’s going be like what he bought to put it in so I convince him to buy my truck since anything till I get one when we are here I can use your old one.”
“I like my baby. It was my first car.”
“I know, Jimmy has a couple jobs to do to just give me 2 thousands for the truck.”
“He is going to drive my cars around right?”
“Yep and get the people who buy my bikes.”
“Not the one I did the graphics for right?”
“Of course not I got that one sent home. I’m riding an old KTM since we you agree to move back home.”
“Everything is home ready to be moved.”
“Good.”
“Go take a shower.”

You grab Tobias and go and grab Jacko’s gear bag. You go put it in the laundry room and go in the kitchen and set Tobias on the floor.

“What shall we have baby?” You said.

You look and close the door and go out and Smile at Jacko.

“What is it?” Jacko ask.
“Can we go get Red Lobster?”
“Do they have steak?”
“Some yes.”
“Ok I’m in.”

You smile and hug him.

“And the little Joey can come?” Jacko ask.
“Yeah, I got to feed him,” You said.
“Ok sure thing, Kain is going to stay a few days when we get there.”
“Why?”
“To help get my track ready and I can if you need me and help me move around.”
“Sure thing.”

You smile and look at Jacko.

“Come on let’s go then,” You said.
“Let’s go then.”

You go down stairs and see Vicky watching Haven while she is crawling to the stairs.

“We are going out,” You said.
“Do you ever just stay at home,” Vicky ask.
“Come on Joey,” Jacko said.
“I thought his name was Tobias.”
“It is, Joey is like kid to Australia,” You said.
“No it’s not,” Jacko said.
“Baby goat to baby kangaroo, yes it is.”

You go outside and look at Jacko.

“If she mess the house up in the six months we leaving her in she’s gone.”
“Fine love.”
You smile and he kisses your head. He drives to Red Lobster.
