Unreasonable Circumstances.

CHAPTER 1

"Jake get your lazy ass off my couch!!" I yelled at Jake, my best friend.
"Someone's on their period" He said brushing off my outburst. I sighed.
He sat up "Cmon tell Jaky what happened" He smiled.

"Nothing my parents are extending their trip again ." I shrugged wanting to change the subject.

"Whatcha wanna watch?" I asked picking up the remote, starteding to channel surf.I heard Jake stand up and come up behind me he took the remote from my hand only to grab my hands.

"Whats up?" I asked confused.
"Kate I have to tell you something.." He trailed off.
I looked at him confused "Go on."

"I-" He was cut off from the phone ringing I pulled my hands away "Sorry just a second." I said reaching for the phone. He sighed "forget it" He said sadly. He started heading for the door "Jake wait up!!" I yelled knowing he couldnt hear me I turned back to the phone.
"Hello?"

"Hey honey were almost there"
"But mom I thought you couldnt come" I said majorly confused
"Well we have some news" and with that she hung up. I looked at the phone for a second before setting it down.
