Hear Me

My hate for Stephen is silly.

I know he was at that party, but that's not much of a reason.

But I can't make it go away.

No matter what.

He asks me to try and remember what happened.

I don't want to remember.

I tell him that he should try instead.

He has to remember.

It's still early, but I suddenly feel exhausted.

This is unusual for me.

He tells me he can't remember a thing.

Good, now I don't have to relive it.

I tell him I'm going home.

I just want sleep.

I just want it all to go away.
