Loony Bin
Twenty
I’m stuck in the lounge;
George and Tucker are with Kelly.
Looking around the room I notice Angela,
sitting in the corner
alone.
She’s always alone.
She’s organizing a Connect Four board,
each column its own color,
creating a pattern:
red
Black
red
Black
Her long black hair is
tied up in a neat bun,
her clothes are immaculate.
I approach her
and take a seat.
“Hello Angela.”
I say.
She glances at me for a second
but returns to her organizing:
red
Black
red
Black
“hello.”
Her voice is a soft whisper,
I love it.
“Soooo”
“you wanna hang out?”
She glances at me for a second,
more than a second,
she doesn’t go back to
her organizing.
“What for?”
“cus my friends are busy
so now I’m lonely.”
She nods her head
and stands.
The always obedient Angela.
I lead her back to my room;
she looks around with
wide hazel eyes.
“Do you mind if I do some tidying?”
She’s so adorable.
“Go ahead.”
I watch as she folds my clothes
and makes the bed
and straightens my books.
“Why are you always so neat?”
I inquire.
Angela continues to clean.
“She says good girls are always tidy.”
I nod my head.
When she’s finished she stands
staring at the floor.
I sit on my bed
staring at her.
“You can come here you know.”
She glances up for a second
then walks towards me.
The always obedient Angela.

So first off, this is dedicated to Rob who commented because I totally forgot about adding other patients, so yeah. Thanks for that. And I also really really wish there was a way I could show the proper indents and format that I want it to be.
