Right now I'm at home doing homework...my moms downstairs making dinner and my dad is once again no where to be found. ...Aaliyah is supposed to be coming over in a little bit. We grabbed our shi+ and left. She grabbed my hand. "I dare that mothafuka to say something else to me." She said. I laughed. I took the bag from her. "You sleeping over?" I asked. "No...I can't. For once my dad was home! He was sitting on the couch with my mom. I handed her the bag. "Hey dad,where have you been?" I asked. "Busy." He said. My mom walked in the bathroom with the bag. "Did she tell you?" I asked him. "Yeahh...I pray to god she's not pregnant." He said. I laughed. We sat in silence waiting for my mom to come out. I realized that my dad hasn't even met Aaliyah yet. I was about to say something about her to him but my mom came out the bathroom. "So?" My father said. "Im pregnant." Next thing I knew my dad hit the floor passed out.

I'm walking to Dani crib and all I can think about was
Darnell. I thought about what couldve happened if his mom didn't knock on the door. I was ready and she knocked on the damn door! A part of me is glad she did that and another part is I'm not glad. I know Darnell has been waiting for five months...but he still hasn't left me. Cuz he loves me. I got to Dani's crib and we chilled in her basement. We talked about life and then she told me the best news ever! Cam got arrested 2 hours ago and he's in jail. That idiot tried to mug a cop. How can someone be so stupid?! Why would you mug a cop?! Yes Chicago Police are kinda lazy...but they aint stupid! We ate some food then went to sleep. Tomorrow was my birthday! I wonder what Darnell's going to do for it...

I havent seen Aaliyah all day thanks to Dani though. I told her to keep Aaliyah busy and bring her to the warehouse at 8. Its 5 and todays Saturday. Im at the warehouse with Djay,Loco,Montrel and Syco and were decorating. The warehouse now looked like a place youd see on tv.We gave it a fresh new paint job,and Syco hired someone to spray paint Aaliyah on the wall. It looked just like her. In since this was the meeting place...we got all of us spray painted on the walls with our names,and dude did a hell of a job. But the main wall was me standing behind Aaliyah and I had my arms around her. She had her eyes closed and her face was fixed into a grin. I was kissing her neck and I had my eyes closed. There was a sunrise behind us and it looked beautiful. "Damn boy you miss her or something? You staring hard as hell at that picture." Syco said. Everyone started laughing. I didnt even know I was staring at her. Come to think about it...I did miss her. I havent talked to her this whole day!
I laughed. "Its okay Darnell...you gone see her in a lil bit!" Montrel said. They all busted into laughter. "Shutup!" I snapped. But that made them laugh harder. I shook my head at them and then my phone rang. It was my mom. "Darnell...I need you to come home." She said when I answered. "What?! But Iim not done decorating." I said. "I know I know! But just come home right quick...itll only take a second." She said. I sighed. Man she was really starting to piss me off. "Fine...why though?" I asked. "Youll see." Then she hung up. We were in my bathroom and I was dolling Aaliyah up. It was 7:30 and we were supposed to be there at 8! Damn she was going to be late to her own party. I was wearing a strapless black dress with glossy black heels. Only people in the gang could wear red accessories and that's it. So my accessories were red. I went in a different bathroom then Aaliyah and did my makeup and hair. Ughh I wished I had hair like Aaliyahs. Hers was so long and pretty. I put my hair in a ponytail and clipped in one of those fake long ass ponytails. It looked real and I was looking good! But when I turned around to see Aaliyah...I was blown away. Beautiful wasn't the word for her. I was speechless. Her caramel skin gleamed and looked good with the red. My mouth dropped as I looked at her. Man this party was going to be the shi+! Everyone was here! People from the east side was actually chilling with us! Everyone was wearing black and it was crowded. There was a dj and a big ass cake my mom made in the other room. "Okay! Everybody turn off the lights and hide! Here she comes!" I yelled. Everyone got quiet and Loco turned off the lights. We could hear their footsteps get to the door. "Dani if you don't get this mothafukin blindfold off of me!" We heard Aaliyah yell. Everyone laughed and then got quiet. The door opened. "Take it off Aaliyah." Dani said. "What the hell? Why is it so dark?!" She asked. Someone hit the lights and everyone jumped out scremaing SURPRISE!!!!!
Aaliyah gasped and screamed. The music started playing and people yelled happy birthday. But I couldn't say anything...why? Because she looked so...beautiful. Oh my god. I just stared at her with y mouth wide open and stared at her. I looked around and half the party was staring at her like that. I looked at Cholo who was standing next to Ariel an he was mesmerized looking at Aaliyah. Damn Dani did a hell of a job. The music got louder and people started dancing and takin pictures. I made my way over to Aaliyah and she jumped in my arms crying. "Oh my God! Darnell thank you!" She screamed. I hugged her back and kissed her cheek. "Happy birthday baby." I said. Right now I'm at home doing homework...my moms downstairs making dinner and my dad is once again no where to be found. ...Aaliyah is supposed to be coming over in a little bit. I'm walking to Dani crib and all I can think about was
Darnell. I thought about what couldve happened if his mom didn't knock on the door. I was ready and she knocked on the damn door! A part of me is glad she did that and another part is I'm not glad. I know Darnell has been waiting for five months...but he still hasn't left me. Cuz he loves me. I got to Dani's crib and we chilled in her basement. We talked about life and then she told me the best news ever! Cam got arrested 2 hours ago and he's in jail. That idiot tried to mug a cop. How can someone be so stupid?! Why would you mug a cop?! Yes Chicago Police are kinda lazy...but they aint stupid! We ate some food then went to sleep. Tomorrow was my birthday! I wonder what Darnell's going to do for it...

I havent seen Aaliyah all day thanks to Dani though. I told her to keep Aaliyah busy and bring her to the warehouse at 8. Its 5 and todays Saturday. Im at the warehouse with Djay,Loco,Montrel and Syco and were decorating. The warehouse now looked like a place youd see on tv.We gave it a fresh new paint job,and Syco hired someone to spray paint Aaliyah on the wall. It looked just like her. In since this was the meeting place...we got all of us spray painted on the walls with our names,and dude did a hell of a job. But the main wall was me standing behind Aaliyah and I had my arms around her. She had her eyes closed and her face was fixed into a grin. I was kissing her neck and I had my eyes closed. There was a sunrise behind us and it looked beautiful. "Damn boy you miss her or something? You staring hard as hell at that picture." Syco said. Everyone started laughing. I didnt even know I was staring at her. Come to think about it...I did miss her. I havent talked to her this whole day!
I laughed. "Its okay Darnell...you gone see her in a lil bit!" Montrel said. They all busted into laughter. "Shutup!" I snapped. But that made them laugh harder. I shook my head at them and then my phone rang. It was my mom. "Darnell...I need you to come home." She said when I answered. "What?! But Iim not done decorating." I said. "I know I know! I was wearing a strapless black dress with glossy black heels. Only people in the gang could wear red accessories and that's it. So my accessories were red. I went in a different bathroom then Aaliyah and did my makeup and hair. Ughh I wished I had hair like Aaliyahs. Hers was so long and pretty. I put my hair in a ponytail and clipped in one of those fake long ass ponytails. It looked real and I was looking good! But when I turned around to see Aaliyah...I was blown away. Man this party was going to be the shi+! Everyone was here! People from the east side was actually chilling with us! Everyone was wearing black and it was crowded. There was a dj and a big ass cake my mom made in the other room. "Okay! Everybody turn off the lights and hide! Here she comes!" I yelled. Everyone got quiet and Loco turned off the lights. We could hear their footsteps get to the door. "Dani if you don't get this mothafukin blindfold off of me!" We heard Aaliyah yell. Everyone laughed and then got quiet. The door opened. Aaliyah gasped and screamed. The music started playing and people yelled happy birthday. But I couldn't say anything...why? Because she looked so...beautiful. Oh my god. I just stared at her with y mouth wide open and stared at her. I looked around and half the party was staring at her like that. I looked at Cholo who was standing next to Ariel an he was mesmerized looking at Aaliyah. Damn Dani did a hell of a job. The music got louder and people started dancing and takin pictures.
