Mr Wonderful

As soon as I walk out I see Zach. He takes a picture with a fan then smiles at me. I walk over to the merch table and start a conversation with one of the guys. After a while Zach walks over to me and says, “Wanna get some coffee with me?” “Sure.” I say while texting Justin that I’m going to get some coffee and he can text me when he wants me to bring him home. Zach and I walk to the Dunkin Donuts which was right next to the venue. We each get a coffee and Zach insists on paying. After about 5 minutes of arguing I finally cave in. He smiles with delight. Why does he have to act like such a gentleman? They we walk around the venue. We talk and really get to know each other. Unfortunately, I think I am falling for Zach. We were walking back towards the venue when Zach stopped walking. I turn towards him and he’s inches away from me. We are both leaning in closer and then Zach whispers “I like you Jackie.” Then he kisses me and I kiss him back. It felt like a bolt of electricity was flowing through my body. I could stay there, kissing Zach all day but then my phone vibrated so I pulled away. Justin texted me that he wanted to go home. I sigh and tell Zach that I have to go back. We walk back to the venue and go inside. I grab my things and Justin comes up to me. “Ready?” he says. I nod. As I was walking out to my car I saw Zach talking to Cameron. I walked over to him, kissed him on the cheek and gave him a piece of paper that had my number on it. Then I walked back to my car, smiling. Justin gave me a weird look but I ignored it. He kept trying to bring up the subject of Zach on the way home but I kept changing the subject. When I got home I saw that my dad was still at the office. I decided to go up to my room and go on my computer. As I was sitting on my bed with my laptop next to me, my phone started to vibrate. I looked at it. I had a new text message. I opened it and it said, “Hey it’s Zach.” I instantly smiled and texted him back
Me- Hey Zach whats up?
Zach- Nm I was just wondering if you wanted to hang tonight?
Me- Sure I’d love to!
Zach- Great! So I’ll pick you up at 7 for a movie?
Me- Sounds great! See you then.
Zach- See ya.
I got up and looked in the mirror. I was smiling like an idiot. I laughed at myself and picked out something the wear. Since we were just going to the movies I decided on something cute but simple. I called my dad and told him I was going out. He guessed that it was someone from a band and he was correct. I love how my dad knows me so well. He asked who and I said Zach, the lead singer in Allstar Weekend. My dad approved and told me to have a good time. Finally 7:00 came around and I heard a car pulling into my driveway. Then the doorbell rang. I took a deep breath and answered the door.
