Happiness Doesn't Come in an XL

I'm the only one awake. Justice and her mom are sleeping soundly. Still wiping my tears away, Justice wakes up.
"...mom...?"
"Hmm...what...Justice? Justice!"
Then they hugged. It was the first I'd ever seen them hug. But,, I cut in, ruining their moment with the best hug I could muster.
"Mom? Can Jed and I talk...alone?"
"Oh, um, OK, Love."
"Thanks, mom."
Mrs. Aaron then graciously waited outside the door.

"Just?...why?" I tried to hold back my tears, failing miserably.
:I couldn't take it anymore, Jed. My mind couldn't handle it anymore."
"Justice, I love you. All of you."
And then I tackled her. With all the love I could emit. A long, long hug.

"Jed? You have no idea how happy I am that you came."
"You have no idea how happy I am that you're still alive."
"...I'm really tired, do you think that you could let me sleep?"
"Of course. I love you Justice."
"I love you too, Jed."

She slept for what seemed like eternity, but then again, so did I.
