Happiness Doesn't Come in an XL

I sit up with a jerk.
The realization of everything comes, with tears, of course. Mom's with me, sleeping, but there
"...mom...?"
"Hmm...what...Justice? Justice!"
A hug. The first in months. How I've missed them.
Then another, only this time it's from Jed. A genuine smile creeps across my tear stained face. To see him there only makes me love him more.
"Mom? Can i talk to Jed...alone?"
"Oh, um, OK, Love."
"Thanks, mom."

"Just?...why?"
Jed is always so timid. What have I done to him?
"I couldn't take it anymore, Jed. My mind couldn't handle it anymore."
