Lust for Darkness

I walked ahead of the others as Harry and Sirius helped Ron down the stairs.

“Sorry about the bite. I reckon that twinges a bit.” Sirius spoke,
“A bit? A bit? You almost tore my leg off!” Ron spoke,
“I was going for the rat. Normally, I have a very sweet disposition as a dog. More than once, James suggested that I make the change permanent. The tail I could live with. But the fleas, they’re murder.” Sirius spoke, I looked back at them with a smirk as Harry smiled at his joke.

I made it outside with them as I stretched.

Hermione tended to Ron’s wound as Sirius walked off. Harry looked back at Sirius, I smiled with my hands on my hips,
“Go talk to him,” I spoke,
“It’s fine. I’ll stay.” Harry spoke,
“Hermione and myself have Ron’s leg covered, go and talk to him,” I explained, Harry stood up and nodded,
“You okay?” he asked Ron,
“I’m fine. Go.” Ron said.

Harry walked over to Sirius, as Hermione and Ron talked about his leg being chopped off.

“Ron… I’ve seen far worse then that… you won’t lose your foot…” I smirked with a small frown.

“It’s beautiful, isn’t it?” I heard Sirius speaking to Harry, I couldn’t help but listen, my hearing is really good. “I’ll never forget the first time I walked through those doors. It’ll be nice to do it again as a free man. That was a noble thing you did back there. He doesn’t deserve it.” Sirius spoke,
“Well I just didn’t think my dad would have wanted his best friends to become killers. Besides, dead, the truth dies with him. Alive, you’re free.” Harry spoke.

“Turn me into a flobberworm. Anything but the dementors!” Peter came crawling out with Lupin, “Ron! Haven’t I been a good pet? You won’t let them give me to the dementors, will you? I was your rat! Sweet girl, clever girl! Surely you won’t--” Peter spoke,
“Get away form her!” Lupin pulled Peter off him and away.

Peter ran to me and landed at my feet,
“Powerful vampire girl… please… just don’t let me be taken by the dementors, I always played with your gecko!” Peter spoke, I hissed sharply at him making Peter jump,
“Move away from her!” Lupin grabbed Peter and pulled him aside.

“I don’t know if you know Harry but when you were born, James and Lily made me your godfather.” Sirius spoke to Harry after the commotion died down,
“I know.” Harry spoke,
“I can understand if you choose to stay with your aunt and uncle but if you ever wanted a different home.” Sirius spoke,
“What? Come and live with you?” Harry asked a small tone of shock in his voice,
“It’s just a thought. I can understand if you don’t want to.” Sirius spoke.

“Harry!” Hermione called, I felt a jolt in my heart as I saw a full moon appear.

As Lupin stood rigid, Sirius ran over to him.

“Remus, my old friend. Have you taken your potion tonight? You know the man you truly are, Remus! This heart is where you truly live! Here!” Sirius spoke as Lupin cried out, Harry came over to me as I held my chest.

“What’s wrong?” Harry asked me,
“It’s Remus… vampires and werewolves hate each other… my vampire insticts are fighting me… they want me to…” I closed my eyes as Harry pulled me over to Ron and Hermione.

Hermione grabbed onto me as Lupin dropped his wand, Peter picked it up off the ground and pointed it towards himself,
“Expelliarmus!” Harry casted, though it was too late, Peter changed into a rat and ran away.

“Harry!” Hermione grabbed Harry as Lupin started to change completely.

“Run! Run!” Sirius yelled. Lupin threw Sirius to the side and then started to whimper as my jaw ached.

“Come on.” Ron spoke,
“Wait. Wait.” Hermione spoke as she went to move closer to Lupin,
“Hermione! Bad idea. Bad idea.” Ron spoke,
“Professor?” Hermione asked, “Professor Lupin?” Hermione asked again, he howled to the sky.

Professor Lupin was no longer in control.

We all held each other, I hissed loudly as Snape crawled out of the hole,
“There you are, Potter!” Snape snapped, but then quickly turned around and put his arms up protectively over us Snape was knocked down forcefully.

Sirius jumped out of nowhere as a dog and attacked Lupin.

They squared each other off and met in the middle, fighting each other.

Until Sirius was able to run away with Lupin following.

“Sirius!” Harry spoke and ran after them.

“Harry!” I ran after him.
