Burn Sirius Burn

I was sitting on the chair reading a paper as I heard someone walk downstairs.

“Harry?” I asked,
“Oh, hey Mei, forgot that you don’t sleep,” Harry spoke,
“You ‘forgot that I don’t sleep?’ are you up to something?” I asked with a smirk,
“No…” Harry spoke shaking his head.

“You know you can tell me anything,” I spoke, Harry nodded as I continued to read the paper. I glared at the newspaper, screwed it up and threw it in the fire in a huff.

“What’s wrong?” Harry asked,
“Read it…” I pointed at the newspaper near Harry. He sat down and read the paper about himself. Harry’s reaction was the same.

A weird noise came from the fire as we both looked at it confused.

We both looked closer to the fire an a face appeared in it.

“Sirius. How--?” Harry asked,
“I don’t have much time, so let me get straight to it. Did you or did you not put your name into the Goblet of Fire?” Sirius spoke from the fire,
“No!” Harry snapped,
“I had to ask. Now, tell me about this dream of yours. You mentioned Wormtail and Voldemort. But who was the third man in the room?” Sirius asked, I sat back down in my chair,
“I don’t know.” Harry spoke,
“You didn’t hear a name?” Sirius asked,
“No. Voldemort was giving him a job to do. Something important.” Harry spoke,
“And what was that?” Sirius asked,
“He wanted… me. I don’t know why. But he was gonna use this man to get to me. But, I mean, it was only a dream, right?” Harry asked,
“Yes. It’s just a dream. Look, Harry. The Death Eaters at the World Cup, your name rising from that goblet these are not just coincidences. Hogwarts isn’t safe anymore.” Sirius explained,
“What are you saying?” Harry asked,
“I’m saying the devils are inside the walls. Igor Karkaroff? He was a Death Eater. And no one, no one stops being a Death Eater. Then there’s Barty Crouch. Heart of stone. Send his own son to Azkaban.” Sirius spoke, there was a noise heard upstairs.

“You think one of them put my name in the goblet?” Harry asked,
“I haven’t a clue who put your name in that goblet, Harry, but whoever did is no friend to you. People die in this tournament.” Sirius explained,
“I’m not ready for this, Sirius.” Harry spoke,
“You don’t have a choice.” Sirius spoke, we both looked at the archway and saw a shadow.

“Someone’s coming.” Harry spoke,
“Keep your friends close, Harry. Mei, please take care of him,” Sirius quickly spoke, I nodded as Ron walked down the stairs.

“What are you two doing?” Ron asked,
“Talking, what are you doing here?” Harry asked,
“I heard voices.” Ron replied,
“Maybe you’re imagining things. Wouldn’t be the first time.” Harry spoke and leaned on the back of the sofa,
“You’re probably just practicing for your next interview, I expect.” Ron glared as he walked back upstairs.

Harry went back to the fire to see Sirius was gone.

“It’ll blow over,” I put my hand on Harry’s shoulder, Harry looked at me and sighed.
“What do you believe?” Harry asked,
“I believe you, I know you aren’t stupid enough to put your name into that goblet when we were clearly told not too… even though we have a reputation for trouble… you don’t go looking for trouble… it somehow finds you doesn’t it?” I smirked, Harry nodded as he held my hand, which was still on his shoulder, “Hermione is on your side also, just so you know. You’ve been avoiding us the last few days since we found out about the people in the tasks. You know Hermione and myself will do all we can to try and prepare you for them.” I explained, Harry nodded with a smile. “Good.” I nodded and pulled Harry into a hug, he wrapped his arms around me and smiled to himself.

“Thank you, Mei.” Harry spoke, I smiled,
“You’re welcome, for whatever I did,” I spoke.
