Down Brick Lane

Brick Lane is a place where diversity can easily be found. Everyone accepts everyone for who they are and it has some of the most lovely shopping areas in London. No one seems to go there, but everyone seems to know of it.

Mitchell Elliott Franks had been working in a café in Brick Lane every Saturday for a couple of months. He seemed to be a complete hit with the customers. Perhaps it’s his charming smile, or simply the way that he knows how to talk to people in a way that is not patronising, nor foolish. Of course, working in a shop every week, you get to know the regulars, and that is precisely what Mitchell had done. He knew the little man who always ordered green tea and lemon, the teenage couple who ordered hot chocolate every other Saturday and of course the businessman who can’t spare any time at all normally, but once treated to an Espresso is one of the most relaxed and talkative folks about.

Perhaps knowing the regulars doesn’t always have to be just about serving them coffee, sometimes it might come to more than that.
