Discovering Me

I stare out the bus window. Another day of endless school lay ahead of me. I feel the seat dip slightly to my left. Without looking, I say," Hi, Lila." A soft voice replies," Hi, Ronnie." I glance over at her and sigh. "You look gorgeous, as usual," I say. "I especially love the shirt." She is wearing a My Chemical Romance band tee, black skinnies with red suspenders casually swinging from her hips, black skater shoes with red laces, and to top off the look, red reflective sun glasses. She takes off the glasses and slips them onto her black and red hair, green eyes staring at me. "I know," she says. I laugh. "Cocky much?" I ask. "Well, when your this gorgeous, you gotta be," she jokes. I grin at her. My best friend. I love my life. My normal life.
