Chapter o5
Inside the house by the lake, I danced around my room before getting my homework done, I did all my written assignments then decided to figure out how to get my vocals right with the lyrics of “Firework” by Katy Perry. I listened to the song thoroughly to hear the vocals, I found a karaoke version with lyrics on youtube, and I sung it through once, then I went into my camera on my laptop and recorded myself singing it and watched it back, I went down to see if my mom was still in the office, and she was, as usual.
“Can you listen for a few minutes and give me some criticism?” I asked setting down the laptop, she nodded, I found the karaoke and played it, I sung along to Firework and finished strong. she looked at me and smiled,
“that was great sweetie, just be louder and you’ll be good,” she said to me, I grinned and hugged her and left the room and headed to my office and sat down in my chair at my desk.
An IM popped up on my desktop from an unknown user called, “Musicismylife” I opened it and talked to the person (my screen name is Ladyglee) :
musicismylife: Hey sexy
ladyglee: Hey, who’s this?
musicismylife: Puck, from glee club
ladyglee: oh hey! what’s up?
musicismylife: not too much, wanna bang, I mean chill?
ladyglee: bang, uh hell no, chill, maybe ;]
musicismylife: tell me when and I’ll come get you
ladyglee;how about Sunday?

I closed out of the IM window and sighed, why does this always happen to me!? ughhhhhh I thought as I made sure all my homework was done and such. I took a shower and braided my hair after my shower was done. I put on a sports bra and boy shorts and went to sleep seeing it was almost midnight. I climbed into my large queen sides bed on the platform and fell asleep shortly after turning off the lights.
it was about 5 am when my alarm went off, I sighed, rolled over and turned it off. its too damn early. I thought as I went to sit up and stretch, I went in the bathroom and washed my face and then went to the closet, I looked at the new clothes I got the night before when I went shopping with Finn, I saw my blue Belted Bubble Dress from wet seal, my two buckle strappy heels that were the color of the belt on my dress, and a headband that went with the outfit. I put them on and unbraided my hair and sprayed it with hairspray to keep the curls that were in my long hair, I put on makeup and the headband. I sprayed my new favorite spray citrus peach all over, grabbed my things and left
Pulling up to the school got easier, as well as finding a spot to park, which ended up being right next to Finn’s truck. I got out to see his smiling face leaning against the truck, “Hey gorgeous” he said with grin,
“hey yourself,” I smiled and got out, kissing him lightly on the lips,
“Ohhhh looks like the quarterback got a girl?” a male voice said, I turned and saw a tall blonde who looked like a football player, Finn laughed and nodded, kissing me,
“Sam this is Rebecca, Rebecca this is Sam” Finn introduced us, we shook hands, “pleasure” I said with a smile, Sam nodded,
“You in Glee?” he asked, I nodded,
“Are you?” I asked, he nodded too,
“Why weren’t you there yesterday?” I also asked,
“I had school work I had to do after school,” he said, I nodded and eh left, Finn looked at me, “yes?” I asked,
“Do you think we should do what we talked about last night?” he asked me,
“and what was that?” I asked, inching him towards asking,
“taking the relationship between us to the next level,” he said to me, his hand in mine, I looked at him, with an expression saying ask me already.
“Will you be my girlfriend?” he asked me, I looked at him and nodded, kissing him lightly and walked with him to the school, he walked me to my locker and to my first period, he kissed me outside the door of Mr. Schue’s room,
“I’ll see you after class,” he said and I kissed him again and went into the classroom,
“Who was that?” Rach asked as she sat beside me,
“a guy,” I said with a grin,
“Who?” she asked again,
“My boyfriend” I grinned,
“Who is he?” she asked again, wanting to know,
“Someone you know..” I said, still smiling, she looked at me,
“What’s his name?” she asked,
“It’s… Finn” I said and she looked at me with tears in her eyes and ran out of the classroom.
