A Ranger's Daughter
Aiden Mira O'Carrick is the adoptive daughter of the legendary Halt O'Carrick and Lady Pauline. She has a fiery temper and an eager thirst for adventure that often causes her trouble with the bullies, Alda, Bryn and Jerome. Despite living with Halt and Lady Pauline, Aiden often feels as if she is alone and at war with the world.
One day, Lady Pauline decides that Aiden should escape from Castle Redmont and Aiden goes with Halt to live in a cottage in the Redmont fief. What Aiden does not realise is that they have aquired a companion--an apprentice, Will, from the Redmont Ward.
How will things turn out between Will and Aiden? Will Aiden's thirst for adventure lead them to their deaths? Will Aiden return to the walls of Castle Redmont, or will she stay in the cottage, living as a Ranger?
