Stolen

“Hello!”

Jumping slightly, Harley woke to hear someone burst into the room yelling. Feeling a heavy pressure on her chest, she began to panic before glancing down to see Seth laying partially on top of her, his head resting on her chest and his eyes wide open.

“Wake up!”

Following Seth’s gaze, she caught sight of Danni standing over them looking around Seth’s room.

“How did you get in here?” Seth growled at her.

“Miles”

“Ugh” he growled nuzzling into Harley’s neck “so much for morning sex”

"Oh no” Danni said kicking her shoes off and climbing onto his vacant side of the bed “I want an explanation”

“For what?” he snapped glaring at her as she settled under the heavy blankets.

“Yesterday” she smirked clearly enjoying his agitation.

“What about it?” he growled again, shoving her away when she reached for the television remote.

“Um Danni” Harley intervened “now isn’t really a good time”

“So get out!” Seth said causing Harley to glare at him.

“Nah” she said leaning back against the pillows “I would also like to know why that cop you talked to yesterday was on our doorstep this morning”

“What?” Harley said as Seth went very still.

“Yep, he was talking to Grandma when I came down for breakfast”

Looking at Seth, Harley saw his face completely blank but his eyes fierce. Sitting up, he climbed out of bed picking up a pair of jeans as he left the room.

“Aw, shit” Harley said sitting up and grabbing a shirt of the floor.

“Should I have told you that alone?” Danni said sitting up as she stared at the door.

“No, it’s alright” Harley answered pulling the shirt over her head and looking at Danni “did you hear anything they talked about?”

“Yes actually” Danni said as Seth reentered the room, pants on and Miles in tow.

“what did they talk about?” Seth asked coming to a stop at the foot of the bed.

“You actually” Danni answered “he gave this long winded speech on your family’s connections to crime including the robbery of our house and a bunch of banks”

“Really?” Ian said striding into the room in low hanging jeans and collapsing down on the bed his head on Harley’s lap “They’re really reaching these days”

“Is that all?” Seth snapped completely ignoring Ian.

“Pretty much” Danni sighed “now your turn”

“Fuck off”

With that the three boys left the room.

Glancing at a shocked and crestfallen Danni, Harley put a hand on her shoulder before quickly following them.

“You don’t have to be so mean to her” Harley snapped catching them as they entered another room just down the hall”

“She’s annoying” Seth said over his shoulder as he entered the room.

“So is Ian!” Harley snapped following him into the room and receiving a glare from Ian in return “and she didn’t have to tell you shit”

“You actually like Ian” Seth said ignoring the last part of her sentence.

“I didn’t always” she growled getting worked up.

“Whats your point babe?” Seth asked.

“She is my cousin” Harley snapped shoving him and taking joy in his shuffling to regain balance “she is the closest thing I have to a sister and if you want me around your gonna have to deal with her.

“And you should really start being a lot nicer” she snapped turning to walk away.

“Why?” Seth growled clearly sick on the entire conversation.

“Because I’m telling her everything”

“No” Seth snapped

“I wasn’t asking” she smirked over her shoulder as she reached the door.

“Harley!”

Stopping, she turned to respond but was cut off.

“Let her” Miles said, speaking for the first time that morning.

“What?” Seth said shocked turning to look at him.

“I agree” Ian said from his position on the opposite side of the room “she knew for a long time, hell she probably knew it was us that night in her house”

“What do you mean us?” Miles snapped glaring at him “I wasn’t there, I told you not to do it in the first place”

“Oh bull shit!” Ian snapped glaring at him “you’re the one who said she would either fight or fuck one if not all of us!”

“I’m sure your were hoping for the fucking part” Miles snapped “and that was just an observation, it was your dumbass idea”

“Is there a point to this?” Harley snapped

“I didn’t say you would do it” Miles murmured “just that it was a possi-“

“I was talking to Ian!”

“My point it that you’ve known for a long time and didn’t say a word to anyone” he paused “and now you only ever talk to us, you deserve to have someone outside this group to talk to. Better Danni than anyone else.”

The room was silent for a few seconds before Harley spoke up.

“Well, guess that settles it”

“Fine” Seth snapped

“Do you really think I would tell her if I wasn’t sure she would keep quiet?”

“I said fine” he snapped clearly hating that he had been out voted.

Rolling her eyes, she turned to the door.

“What no thank you?” she heard Ian snap.

Turning back, she walked to Seth and kissed him softly.

“Thank you” she smiled before shooting Ian a smirk and laughing when he flipped her off.

“Think about that next time you decide to break into my house to get laid.” She told him as she turned to leave the room.

An hour later, Harley and Danni sat on Seth’s bed sharing a tub of ice cream. Having explained everything that had happened to her over the last few months, Harley was now answering Danni’s persistent questioning.

“So when they broke into our house you already knew it was them?”

“No” Harley sighed scraping another scoop of ice cream “I didn’t find out until after I stole Seth’s truck”

“But you said you almost slept with Seth that night” Danni said the continued as Harley nodded “so you don’t know for sure it was him”

“At the time I had no idea” Harley said sitting her spoon down “I just knew there was something familiar about the person, I didn’t know why until the night of the party”

“So you let a somewhat complete stranger go down on you?” Danni asked completely serious.

“Don’t say it like that” Harley sighed

“Like what?”

“Like I’m a complete slut”

“That’s not what I mean” Danni sighed “you have this whole other side that I don’t know.”

“That’s not true”

“It is” Danni insisted “I’ve never met the dangerous side”

“Now you sound like Miles” Harley said rolling her eyes”

“So I sound smart?” Danni asked happily

“Yea” Harley laughed “real smar-“

A loud bang and yelling coming from the floor below caused Harley to stop talking. Glancing at each other, the girls jumped off the bed and hurried out into the hallway and towards the staircase.
Halfway down the stairs they saw the bottom floor of the house crawling with heavily armed police officers. Holding on to each other, they reached the bottom and took in the scene.
The police had Ian pressed face first into the living room wall, his arms behind his back being cuffed.

A second later, Harley caught sight of Seth in a similar position on the floor. Catching his gaze, she started towards him.

“onu dışarı almak” she heard him yell then an arm wrapped around her waist holding her back.

“Easy” Miles snapped in her ear as she fought to get away.

Relaxing in his grip, she held Seth’s gaze as the police dragged him to his feet and began pushing him out the door. After they did the same to Ian, Miles, Harley, and Danni followed.

Keeping quiet, Miles kept a tight grip on both girls as they came to a stop a few feet away from where the police had left Seth and Ian standing by a patrol car. Dislodging herself, Harley walked towards them and wrapped her arms around Seth’s waist. Feeling his chest rumble, she glanced up to see him talking to someone behind her. Hearing the different language, she assumed it was Miles and kept quiet. When he finished talking he looked down at her.

“Everything’s gonna be alright” he says kissing the top of her head.

Before she can reply, an officer approached and took his arm. Stepping away, she reached out and hugged Ian before backing away.

As the three of them walked back towards the house, Harley saw Galager standing a few feet away. Catching his eye, Harley kept her face blank and continued up the path to the house. When they reached the entrance, they turned and watched Ian and Seth get loaded into two separate cars.

“What did he say?” Harley asked not looking at Miles.

“He said not to call his dad” Miles said glumly.

“Then what are we supposed to do?” Danni asked quietly.

“Nothing” Miles answered nodding in the direction of the officers “something tells me he already knows”
