I Can't Believe, I'm Actually Meant to Be Here!

I opened my eyes, blinking a few times to get them adjusted to the sunlight pouring through the still open windows. I'd fallen asleep on the couch last night.

I grumbled and looked down at my phone to see I have 4 missed calls and 7 texts, only 1 of each being from Jacky and the rest from Derek. I sighed and decided to call Derek first, since he seemed to be the one freaking out the most by the looks and sounds of his texts and voice mails.

"Are you okay? Is Ronnie there?" I laughed slightly at Derek.

"What do you mean am I OK? And I dunno, I just woke up." I yawned.

"I mean...you called Jacky crying last night after Ronnie "accidentally" called you." I furrowed my brows together. "I did?" I had absolutely so recollection of doing any of that.

"You don't remember?" I shook my head to myself. "No. All I remember is getting that wonderful call, then I guess.....falling...oh, wait..." I sighed as the events suddenly hit me. "Yeah, I remember now...."

After the call, I'd texted Jacky and called him, crying my eyes out. He came over and comforted me until I fell asleep, then left.

"Is Ronnie there? No one can get a hold of him." I stood up and shuffled around the apartment, seeing no signs of Ronnie being back.

"Nope. Must've stayed the night at the whore's house." I snarled.

"Scar..."

"This wasn't supposed to happen." I grumbled.

"Well what the hell was supposed to happen?!" He exclaimed.

"I don't know! Not this, though!" I exclaimed right back at him.

"What did you expect, Scar? Ronnie gets jealous very easily, and he can get hurt easily when it comes to shit like this. And all he ever wants to do when someone hurts him, is to get back at them and hurt them twice as much." I sighed loudly, running my free hand over my face.

"Well what am I supposed to do? Just tell him it's a joke as soon as he comes back?"

"That would probably be your best bet." I jumped as the front door opened, and looked over to Ronnie. "Um, well he's here. So I gotta go, Derek."

"Good luck." We hung up and I stared at him. "Ronnie, we seriously need to talk."

"Okay. Talk." I rolled my eyes at him as he avoided all eye contact with me.

"This was all a-"

"Joke? Yeah, I know." My eyes widened and he looked at me. "Jacky already told me. Pretty stupid fuckin' joke, if you ask me."

"I didn't know it was gonna end like this!"

"WELL HOW THE FUCK DID YOU EXPECT IT TO END!?" I jumped as he screamed. "I don't know!"

"You're fucking stupid." He chuckled lowly, walking past me. "EXCUSE ME?!" I stomped right after him and yanked his arm. "What?!"

"Ronnie, what the hell...why would you say that? What's wrong with you?!"

"WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU!?" I backed up as he yelled in my face. "You think it's all a joke, don't you?! You think I'm just using you? You think I don't fucking mean every single goddamned word I say when I tell you how much I love you, and care for you, and would do ANYTHING to make you mine?! You don't even believe me?!?"

"I just don't want to get hurt!" He threw his arms around. "HOW MANY TIMES HAVE I TOLD YOU I WOULD NEVER HURT YOU!?"

"I DON'T FUCKING KNOW, RONNIE!" I pushed him away from me and stormed off as tears made paths down my cheeks.

"There you go again, running away from the fight! JUST LIKE YOU ALWAYS DO!" He yelled after me, following me.

"BECAUSE I HATE FIGHTING WITH YOU, OKAY?!" I cried.

"You think I like it too?!"

"You must!" I wiped at my eyes, noticing his eyes were softening. "I hate fighting with you, Scar. You're insane if you think I like it." I pushed him away when he tried to hug me. "You touched...her." I made a face of disgust. "I don't want you anywhere near me."

"HERE WE GO AGAIN!" He turned around, flailing his arms again.

"See, this is how I know we shouldn't be in a relationship; look at how much we've fought over it!"

"BECAUSE YOU MAKE THE BIGGEST FUCKING DEAL OUT OF EVERYTHING AND WON'T GIVE ME ONE CHANCE!" I shook my head and crossed my arms. "Do you honestly think I would do ANYTHING with her if you and I got together?"

"I really don't know." He groaned. "What the fuck do I have to do, Scarlet?!" I stayed silent, tears still falling. "You don't even know, do you?"

"I'm scared, Ronnie."

"Scared of what?" His tone finally went from angry to soft, and his facial expression wasn't furious anymore.

"Losing you." He shook his head and wrapped his arms around me in a hug, despite my protest. "I took a shower and brushed my teeth before coming home, Scar, don't worry. I'm clean." He laughed, barely. "You won't lose me, I promise."

"Don't make promises you can't keep." I mumbled into his chest.

"I'm making this one because I know I can keep it." He hooked two fingers under my chin and lifted my head up. "I know you saw how I treated my past girlfriends, but that was before everything. I've changed, and you of all people should know that." I nodded slightly. "And you of all people should know I would never do anything to hurt you."

"You have hurt me." He frowned, not being able to find the words to say.

"It means nothing." He whispered after a minute of stuttering. "It means absolutely nothing. That was just sex. There are no emotions attached, nothing. It was literally nothing but sex. Not love; sex."

I looked at him, knowing he was being honest. "Just give me one chance, please. One. I will prove to you how good we can be together." I smiled slightly. "And if something ever happens, we can say we tried it, and that it didn't work, and we'll just be friends."

I couldn't help but giggle at the look of hope in his eyes, and that smile on his face. "Okay."

I laughed as he blinked, obviously not believing what he was hearing. "What...?"

"I said okay. I'll be your girlfriend, we can tr-"

I laughed again as he smashed his lips to mine, backing me up against the counter and slamming me into it. I moaned into his mouth as his hands roamed all over my body, his tongue tangling with mine.

"Ronnie..." I giggled as he pressed kisses all down my jaw line and my neck, pushing my bra strap and tank-top strap down and kissing my shoulder.

"Can I please just fuck you right here?" He whined into my shoulder, his hands holding a tight grip on my hips. I laughed and tilted his head up. "No sex yet."

"But...but......Scar..." I smiled and shook my head. "If we're gonna do this, we're gonna do it my way. And that means taking it...some-what slow."

"You know what? That's fine. That is perfectly fine, I agree to those terms and conditions." I squealed as he slipped his hands under my ass and picked me up, making me wrap my legs around his waist. "I will obey those rules, I will sign the contract to that agreement, I wi-"

"Ronnie, calm down now, I know you're happy and all..." He grinned at me and pressed his lips to mine again.

"Happy's an understatement!" He exclaimed as he ran into the bedroom, me holding onto him for dear life. I screamed when he us flopped down on the bed, quickly grabbing my hips and making it so I was straddling him. "I'm fucking thrilled! I'm...I.....I can't even think of other words to describe my excited-ness!" I couldn't help but continue to laugh at how excited and happy he was.

"Ronnie, you're here," I held my hand up above my head. "I need you down here." I put my other hand on the bed, laughing.

"Nope!" He grinned and quickly flipped us over, making me squeal from the sudden change.

"I love you." He said before kissing me. "N'awwww." I cooed. His signature lopsided grin appeared again. "You're so cute when you're happy." I smiled as I pushed his bangs out of his eyes, and laughed as he collapsed on top of me, hugging my body.

"Finally..." I smiled as he mumbled this to himself, pressing his lips to my shoulder again. He lifted his head up, grinning at me for the hundreth time. I giggled as he pressed his lips to mine softly, making me tangle my fingers in his hair.

"I could get used to this." He murmured.

"So could I."
