*2 weeks later*

-Alex's P.O.V-

I woke up the next morning and Brooke was already up. She was downstairs drinking a cup of coffee. How much coffee does that girl drink? I walked into the living room and sat down next to her. She was watching SpongeBob Squarepants. I giggled. She looked at me. "What?!" She asked. "Oh nothing. It's just that you're a sixteen year old girl sitting here drinking coffee and watching Spongebob." I said. "Actually I'm seventeen." She stated. "What?" I asked looking at her confused. "Today's my birthday!!" She said. "Did you forget?" She asked. "No, I just lost track of dates. I always do when we're off tour. I'm sorry." I kissed her. "Happy Birthday, Love." I said. She shrugged and said, "Thanks!" She smiled.

-Brooke's P.O.V-

I woke up and Alex was still sleeping. I kissed him on the cheek and got out of bed. I walked downstairs and fixed me a cup of coffee and fed Sparkles. I sat down and turned on the t.v. 'Saturday cartoons!' I thought to myself and flipped it on Spongebob. It was my birthday and I had coffee. And an amazing boyfriend. This day was going to be awesome. Alex came down about thirty minutes later. He sat down next to me. I leaned on his shoulder. He giggled. Wow. I've never really heard a guy giggle. Is Alex hiding something from me? Haha. "What?!" I asked. "Oh nothing. It's just that you're sixteen year old girl sitting here drinking coffee and watching Spongebob." He said. Sixteen? Didn't he remember today was my birthday? "Actually I'm seventeen." I stated with my typical, 'No shit, Sherlock' tone. "What?!" he asked me looking confused. "Today's my birthday!!" I said. "Did you forget?" I added. "No, I just lost track of dates. I always do when we're off tour. I'm sorry." He said kissing me. "Happy Birthday, Love." He said. I shrugged and said, "Thanks!" Trying to sound cheery. He had forgotten my birthday. I was pissed. We just stayed there and for awhile and talked. Jordan walked down the stairs awhile later, I had just walked out of the kitchen, when she tackled me. "Brooooooke!" She yelled. "What?!" I asked, recovering from the impact of my head hitting the ground. "I thought you died! JK! Happy birthday!" She said. I got up and smacked her in the back of the head, AGAIN. "Thanks, Jo!" I hugged her. "Don't call me that!" She screamed. "You TACKLED me!" I yelled. "So?" I rolled my eyes and walked away. "Don't you walk away from me!" She yelled. "Oh look I just did." I said. We laughed and Alex shook his head at us. "What? You got a problem pretty boy?" Jordan asked. "Nope. Not at all." He said laughing. I looked at him. Well at least the most important people in my life get along. All my friends and my boyfriend. Except for Zack. What were we going to do about him? Just as I thought of this Alex stood up and posed in the weirdest position. "Alex, I always knew you were gay." I said laughing. "Yeah, and Jack is my gay lover? Really? And what does that make you, a cover up?" He asked laughing. "Alex has a point." Jordan said. "Wait, when did you start taking Alex's side?! You're supposed to be my wifey?!" I said. "And I'm the gay one?" Alex asked. "I believe that would make her lesbian." Jordan pointed out. "I looked at her. "Dude!?" I shouted. "Well? It's true." She said. I shook my head as Rian came trudging down the stairs. "What is up with all the racket? How is a person supposed to sleep?" He asked. "Umm not go to bed at four o'clock in the morning?" I suggested. "Bite me." I looked at him. "NO, you're not my type." I smiled playfully. He rolled his eyes and yawned. "Oh by the way happy birthday." He said as he went to the kitchen for some breakfast. See, even Rian had remembered my birthday. "Where's Zack?" I asked him when he came back in with a bowl of fruit loops. "I knew you were gay!" Alex said to Rian. "I am not!" He defended. "Dude you're eating a bowl of fruit loops. You're turning fruity!" Alex said. "Alex that's the only cereal in there! And Brooke he went to go get Matt. Matt is finally coming over." He laughed. "Suuuure." Alex said. Rian rolled his eyes. We watched Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince along with Deathly Hallows part 1 before Zack finally showed up with Matt. "Yo! We're here!" Zack said as he walked in. Matt came in behind him. Alex got up and hugged him. "Matt, I'd like to introduce you to my girl, Brooke." I stood up and walked over. "So this is the lovely Brooke, that you would not shut up about." Matt said. "I'm Matt." he said. "Our asshole of a tour manager." Alex added. Matt laughed. "Awe. Looks like Alex is on his man-period. We're screwed." Matt said. He came over and hugged me. "But it's good that Alex finally has someone that makes him happy. And that's very pretty." He said. Alex and I walked back over to the couch and sat down. "Wow. I think I like your tour manager, Alex. He's a smart guy. He deals with you everyday." I said smiling. "Yeah. And now so do you! There's no getting rid of me now!" He said. "Yeah, I know. I don't plan on getting rid of you but I may make you sleep on the couch one of these days." I said playfully. "Wow, Alex. I didn't know that you were that bad in bed." Matt said holding back a laugh. "Dude! We haven't slept together like 'that' yet." Alex said a little irritated. Matt looked at us. "Oh, I'm sorry. I just assumed-" Alex cut him off. "Well don't 'assume' if you do, you just make an ass out of yourself." Alex said getting up and walking out of the room.Matt started to walk back there. "Don't." I told him as I got up. I walked toward the backyard. Alex was sitting there playing with Sparkles. I think Alex will be good with kids one day if he's that good with her. I thought to myself. I smiled. He played with her and let her lick him. It was cute to watch. He turned and saw me standing there smiling. "I didn't know you were standing there." He said looking a little embarrassed. "I know." I replied. "Why did you walk off like that?" I asked him. "I don't know I just hate it when people ask if we're sleeping together. They make it seem like I'm that big of a player and you're some kind of slut or something." he said. I had to admit he had a point. "It's okay, Alex." I said. "How?" He asked. "Because you and both know we're not." I said. Now I had the point. "You're right. I guess I over reacted a little bit." He said. "A little bit? You went full on Godzilla on his man-period!" I said laughing. He looked at me and winked. "You know you love it!" he said. "Ehh." I said. He ran over to me and tickled me. We were both out of breath from laughing when we stopped and looked into each others' eyes. "This is how everything is supposed to be." He said. "Exactly." I agreed. I kissed his cheek. Tori came out the back door. "Yo! Go get in the car losers! We're going shopping!" She said. When did she get here? "Okay, Okay. We're coming!" Alex said. She left. "We'd better go before they come out here with pitchforks." He said. I giggled. We put Sparkles inside and filled her a bowl of food and water. We walked out of the house, me locking the door behind me, and got into Zack's Jeep. We drove to the mall of course! "Damn guys!" I said as they got out and dragged me into the mall. They dragged me as Zack covered my eyes. He finally removed his hands and we were inside the movie theatre. "What?" I asked. "You'll see." Alex said sitting down next to me. What were they making me watch? I just sat there waiting for the movie to come on. I love the previews but did they really have to be so long? Finally the movie started. It was Deathly Hallows part 2. I looked at them wide eyed. They nodded. I smiled wide and Alex held my hand. "Thank you" I mouthed to them, they smiled. The movie was AMAZING. Jordan I could tell was bored but she stayed for me. The movie ended and Alex and I and I shouted, "NO! HOGWARTS IS OUR HOME!" The others laughed and called us weird. We went to Hot Topic and bought some skinny jeans, band t-shirts and some new posters! On the way home Alex started singing 'Walls' which happens to be one of my favorite ATL songs. I sang along and Zack looked at us weird. But he still laughed. We arrived home and I hugged them. "Thanks, guys!" I said. "See, Love. I didn't forget your birthday. I was just playing along for the surprise." Alex said. Typical. "Yeah, that was ALL Alex's idea. Except for the trip to Hot Topic, that one was the rest of ours." Rian said as we walked in the house. I looked at Alex. He smiled his hot crooked smile. I blushed. We ate some chicken from KFC for dinner. Alex and I were the first to turn in. We walked up the stairs and I took a shower. When I got out I saw a message written in the fog on the mirror. 'I love you(:' It said. I smiled and brushed my teeth. I put on my shorts and a tank and walked out. Alex was already waiting in bed for me. "Hey, beautiful." He said. "Hiya, sexy." I said. He smiled. "Thanks for an awesome birthday." I said. "You're welcome. Now get some sleep." He said kissing my forehead. I snuggled into his chest and quickly fell asleep.
