Forgiveness
-Alex's P.O.V-
I ran straight back to her house to get my things. I can't believe her. Or Zack.She promised she wouldn't do this. She promised she wouldn't cheat. I trusted her. And for what? Her to be just like Lisa? What? No she wasn't just like Lisa. Brooke was caring. Should I let her explain? Why? So she can lie? I don't think so. I walked in the door. "Hey Alex! Come play this new video game with me!" Jack said as I walked in the door. I said nothing. I went straight up to her bedroom to grab my things. I heard her come in. "Jack! Is he still here?" I heard her say. "Yeah. He's upstairs." he said. 'Asshole' I thought to myself. I contemplated jumping out of the window. She came in seconds later. Out of breath of course. "Alex." She said. She came up to me and put her arms on my shoulders. I shrugged them off. "Don't." I said. The look in her eyes was so hard to stay mad at. "Why, Brooke?" I asked, my back to her. I could still here her crying. "Alex. I'm sorry. Zack he said that he loved Jordan but since she loved Jack, he was starting to fall for someone else." She stopped to catch her breath and cry some more. "Let me guess. This 'someone else' turned out to be you?" I asked a little irritated but sympathetic because I realized this really wasn't her fault. It was Zack's. I turned back to face her. "Alex I wouldn't do anything to hurt you. I was just trying to be a good friend. He told me that he was starting to fall for me and then he kissed me. Yes, I kissed back but that was only to show him I cared not to hurt you." She was calmed down by now. I walked over to her. "Are you sure that's all that happened?" I asked her. "Yes." She said weakly. I looked her in the eyes. I lifted her head and touched my lips to hers. The kiss was slow and passionate. I kissed her as if it was our last time. Yes, I was sorry I doubted her but can you blame me?
-Brooke's P.O.V-
I ran as fast as I could. I reached the house, now out of breath of course. I ran inside and saw Jack and Rian on the couch. I slammed the door, wanting to lock it so Zack would have to sleep outside or get mugged. "Jack! Is he still here?" I asked. "Yeah, he's upstairs." he said. I hurried up the stairs. I walked through the door to my room. "Alex." I said out of breath. I walked over to him and put my hands on his shoulders. He shrugged them off. "Don't." He said looking me straight in the face. He turned away from me and I broke down into tears but I was pissed at the same time. I mean, how could he think I would cheat on him? "Why, Brooke?" He asked. He still had his back to me which was irritating. "Alex. I'm sorry. Zack he said that he loved Jordan but since she loved Jack, he was starting to fall for someone else." I stopped to cry some more. "Let me guess. This 'someone else' turned out to be you?" He asked. He turned back to face me. "Alex I wouldn't do anything to hurt you. I was just trying to be a good friend. He told me that he was starting to fall for me and then he kissed me. Yes, I kissed back but that was only to show him I cared not to hurt you." I said. Calmed down now. He walked towards me. "Are you sure that's all that happened?" He asked me. "Yes." I answered weakly. He looked deep into my eyes and lifted my head. He placed his lips on mine once again. This wasn't like our usual fast paced kisses. This one was slow and passionate. We had ended up going a little farther than a kiss. No, we didn't get 'that' far but Alex's shirt was off and he had me pushed up against the wall. We knew someone would come up soon so he put his shirt back on and we walked downstairs holding hands. Zack was sitting in a chair near the dining room. I wanted to go over there and rip out his throat. Alex saw this and grabbed me by the waist. We stood near the couch and faced Zack. He looked at us very apologetically. I forgave him some but that didn't make what he and I did right. Zack was the first one to speak. "Guys, I'm really sorry. I guess I just got a little jealous at how happy you were. And yes, Alex, I have been in love with Brooke since I kissed her on stage that night at our concert and I promise nothing like this will happen again." Aw I knew he could be sweet but would that be enough for Alex to forgive him? "Zack, I appreciate your apology. Brooke and I have talked it out. Everything can just be put behind us." Yes. He forgave him. "And Brooke? I'm so sorry. I don't know what came over me. I saw you sitting there, head on my shoulder and I know you care about me. So I let my instincts take over. Can you forgive me?" I saw a bruise forming on his cheek where I had slapped him. "Yes, Zack. You're my best friend. Of course I'll forgive you. By the way I'm sorry for the now forming bruise on your cheek." I walked over and hugged him. He hugged me tight. I smiled then walked back over to Alex. Alex put his arm around my waist. "So since we got this mess all cleared up. Does this mean you guys are going start moving in tomorrow?" I asked. "Yeah!" They all cheered. Like I've said once and I'll say a few hundred times: I love these boys. I leaned my head on Alex's chest. After about an hour of them playing video games (and Alex losing miserably, but he got a kiss for trying). I asked Rian if I could talk to him alone. We walked into the office on the first floor. "What's up?" He said. "What's up? Let me see...you telling Lisa that Alex was here?" I said irritated. "Wait. How do you know?" he asked. "Well...the morning after you guys got back I saw Alex had a new text and I thought it might be one of you guys peaking in on him. So I looked at it and it was from her. She asked Alex to meet at a cafe. So I went. And I kinda sorta punched her in the face." I tried not to laugh at the last part. "And the reason she knew was because you told her." I added so he would understand why I was yelling at him. "Ohh. Yeah, I'm sorry about that. I was a little drunk when I said that." He said. "Okay. But don't ever tell her where we are again, but I doubt she'll ever mess with us again." I smirked. "Nice." He said giving me a high-five. Now everything was cleared and we could all live peacefully. I walked back into the living room. Alex was laughing til I thought he might die. "What happened?" I asked. "Oh Alex? He's laughing 'cause...well I don't really know why." Zack said. I laughed. I looked at Jack. "Please tell me you didn't give him any drugs?" I said laughing. "Nope! I'm innocent." He said. I raised an eyebrow. "Jack, you're NEVER innocent." He looked at me. "Aw Barakitty!" I was confused. He came and tackled me. "Jack.I.need.to.breathe." I said as Zack joined in. "ZACK!" I yelled as he tickled me. Jack cowered away. I laughed. Rian grabbed Zack and pulled him off of me. "My hero." I said as I kissed the top of his head. Alex looked at me like 'wtf?' I walked over to him. "Don't ask." I said. "Wasn't going to." he chuckled. I smiled. He rested his head in the crook of my neck. He kissed my neck a few times. 'Boy you better not be trying to give me a hickey, right now.' I thought. He stopped and just rested his head on my shoulder as we watched Zack get demolished in video game after video game by Rian. It was quite amusing. It was three o'clock in the morning before we finally decided to go to bed. Jordan ended up staying and sleeping in the guest room with Jack. Rian took a room. Zack took another. And that left me and Alex. "Ehh I might as well sleep with my girl." I laughed. "Okay." I said awkwardly. I walked into my bathroom to change I came out a few minutes later in my shorts and a tank. Alex was laying on my bed looking at a book. He was only in his boxers, but I didn't mind. I went and sat down near him. He looked at me. "You know you really shouldn't go to bed looking so sexy?" I laughed. He put my book, which I saw was Harry Potter and the Chamber of secrets, down and laid down. He snuggled himself into my back and put his arm over me, pulling me close to him. We dosed off shortly after....or at least i did.
