One Big Happy Family

I woke up the next morning and rolled over and Alex was gone, i shrugged it off and relaxed. A few minutes later when i went to get up i felt a pain in my stomach. Of course with being so pregnant these pains came almost every other day, so i ignored it. I left the room and went into the livingroom and saw Jack but no Alex.

"Hey Jack" i said

"Hey" he said

"So wheres Alex?" i asked

"He went to pick up bagels" he said

"Okay and why are you here?" i asked

"Well i came over this morning to hangout and then he wanted to go get food and i didnt wanna so i stayed here" he said

"Ohhh okay" i said and sat down and then i felt another pain again but this time it was worse, i winced and leaned over

"You okay?" Jack asked

"Mhmm" i said

"Did one of the babys kick?" he asked

"Nope, just pain" i said

"Are you okay?" he asked

"Mhm, i'll be right back im gonna get the heating pad. That sometimes helps" i said

"Okay" he said and i got up and started walking but as i was walking i stopped because i felt somthing pop and then there was water

"No" i said looking down

"Please tell me you peed yourself" he said

"Nope" i said and then felt another pain

"What do i do?!" Jack said panicking

"Get the bag we packed from the closet and then get me to the hospitol and then call Alex" i said

"Okay" he said

He grabbed the bag and walked me out of the house. He drove us to the hospitol and we got there pretty fast, mainly because of his speeding. Good thing there was no cops. We went in the maternity ward and a nurse brought us to a room. I changed into a gown and while i was doing that Jack called Alex, a few minutes later he returned saying Alex was coming which took alot of stress off me. About twenty minutes later the door flew open and Alex walked in looking scared.

"Sophie!" Alex said

"Alex, your here!" i said and he came over to hug me

"Of course i am!" he said

"Well im gonna go call Melinda and tell her to call your parents. Anyone else i should call?" Jack said

"Call my parents and basically everone else, they'll all wanna no" Alex said

"Okay i'll be back" Jack said and left the room

Jack called everyone and within a hour everyone arrived, the doctor came in and made everyone except Alex, Jack and Melinda leave the room. After being in the hospitol for four hours the pains were getting worse and worse and alot closer together it was really getting unbearable.

"Babe go get the doctor" i said

"Why?" he said

"Im in so much pain its crazy" i said

"I'll be right back" he said

"Mkay" i said and he left the room and returned about a minute later with the doctor

"Wow that was fast" Jack said

"He was already on his way here" Alex said and Jack nodded

"So lets see how your doing" the doctor said and went to check me

"I have to be close the pains are like a minute apart" i said

"Well your actually completely dialated" she said

"That was pretty fast" Alex said

"Yeah it was. I'll call a nurse to bring in everything we need and then we'll get started" she said

"Okay" i said nervously

The doctor called in a nurse to bring in everything that was needed and then they got me all set to deliver. After pushing for about a hour the first baby was born, it was a girl. And pretty quickly afterwards the second baby was born, it was a boy.

"So how are they?" Alex asked

"Their both perfect" the doctor said

"Great" i said

"Yep, do you know what your gonna name them?" the doctor asked

"Well i actually like the name Micah James for our son" i said

"Perfect" Alex said

"And for your daughter?" the doctor asked

"Uhm, how about you pick her name Alex" i said

"Okay...i like the name Casey Rose" Alex said

"I love it" i said

"Both names are great, i'll go write them on the birth certificates, congrats" the doctor said

"Thanks" me and Alex said

"Would you guys like to hold your babys?" a nurse asked

"Yes" we said and the nurse handed me Casey and handed Alex Micah

"Wow she looks so much like Alex and he looks so much like you" Jack said

"Yeah their both perfect" i said
