New Chances!

We drove along the road the jail, on the outside of town. Lilly was getting more nervous by the second we drive along the road. Mellissa look over at Lilly to say nicely. “Lilly are you okay?”

Lilly looks at Mellissa to say to her nicely. “Yeah I am okay. My nervous are getting to me that it. I am just getting scary about seeing Andrew again. He told me to carry on with out him, and now I am going back to hee him. What do you think he will say to me when he see the picture of our child?” Lilly started thinking about what Andrew think about seeing the picture of our child, and hearing what I have to tell him about my check-up.

Mellissa look over at her, and say nicely. “Andrew will be fine, and happy for sure when he see that picture. In addition, very happy to hear about your new job, and everything else that happen to you. Trust me.” Mellissa keep on driving to the jail building, pulling into a parking sport closer to the visitor doors, and looking over at Lilly. “Lilly, you will be okay. Your have us to make sure you are okay. We are coming inside the jail with you, so you will be okay.” Mellissa say to her with a smile on her face, and exiting the car with Sarah and Rose behind.

Lilly sat there in the passenger seat with a worry look on her face. Lilly was rethink about seeing Andrew again, Lilly hope to hear some good new from Andrew. Mellissa look back inside the car to see Lilly still sitting there inside the car. “Are you coming Lilly?” Mellissa say to Lilly with a smile on her face.

Lilly look at Mellissa to say to her. “Yeah I am coming, I was thinking that all.”

Rose look into the car, and say to Lilly nicely. “Your going to be okay then. I am here for you Lilly.” Rose move off to the side to see Lilly exiting the car.

Lilly exit the car, looking at Rose to say to her. “Thanks Rose, and now lest going to visit Andrew.” Lilly walk up to the jail doors with Rose, Sarah, and Mellissa behind her. Lilly open to door to the jail, Mellissa talk to the cop in the front desk, and they were lead to the visit area.

Lilly sat down in the area the cop show her, Lilly sat down on the stool, and wait for Andrew to come visit. Lilly listen to the other people in the visit area talking away to a jail person. Lilly was getting worry about seeing Andrew again behind the glass window. Andrew came into the room, he was only six feet tall, semi-built, med length brown hair, and light blue eyes. He sat down on the stool, and look at Lilly behind the glass. They both pick up the phones from the side of the wall, and Andrew spoke first, “Hey Lilly, why are you doing here?”

Lilly look at him, and speaking in a shy voice, “I have some new for you.”

“What is it?” Andrew ask her with wonder in his voice.

Lilly thought a bit, and came out with it, “I got a job outside of this town at a Cabin and Resort place. They offer me a job behind the front desk, and even a place to live for a bit. They are very nice people, and they are taking good care of me. Andrew, I found a safe place for our child to be born.”

Andrew look at Lilly with a smile on his face, “You mean, we will have more money finally. Wow, I cannot believe it. You are okay with our baby, how it doing?”

Lilly pull out the picture from under the table, showing it to Andrew, and saying happy, “It is doing good, everything is doing great. Growing healthy now, and being with the family that taking me in. I am getting a bit better, I still have the coughing still, but not as bad.”

Andrew look at Lilly with a sad look on his face, and asking in a worry voice, “Do they know about your coughing?”

Lilly shook her head to Andrew, and saying to him, “They don’t know, plus I been throwing up blood too here and there. I am scare Andrew that I am getting very sick, and worry about the baby health now.”

“Have been to the doctor to talk to them about this?” Andrew say to Lilly quietly, and started to think about Lilly being very sick and his unborn health.

“I was there today, and I was scare to ask. The girls from the my job where in the room, and I could not let them know. I don’t want to lose this job and safe place for our baby. Andrew, I am scare now, I cannot go through this without you. Every night I am in pain at a point of screaming, and cannot sleep very well. I miss being in your arms at night, I miss your sweet kisses, and I miss you keeping me safe from anything bad,” Lilly say to Andrew lowering her head.

Andrew saw Lilly lowering her head, and spoke to her kindly, “Hey Lilly look at me, I got some good new for you that you well love to hear.” Lilly lifted up her head to see a smile on Andrew face, and Andrew keep on talking to her, “They are reopening the case, I get to go to court again, and we get to speak finally.”

“How I though the case was closed for good?” Lilly ask to Andrew with a confuse look on her face, and trying to finger out why the case with open.

“I heard that they found something new, some information from one of the cops that work here. He told that he found some more information from a person, and want to help me… Or the both of us,” Andrew say to Lilly with a smile on his face.

Lilly saw her friends coming closer to her, and Lilly understood who the person was that got the more information. “I see, it was Mellissa husband, Richer. He the one reopening the case to help me. That is great, when is your next court date?” Lilly ask Andrew with a smile on her face hearing that great information.

Andrew look at her, and told her straight out, “In one month. I am going be so happy to see you again, and touch your soft skin again. I miss you so much, and worry about you so much. Please take care of yourself for the baby health.” Andrew hears the cops calling out that visiting time was up. “I got to go sweetly, see you in one month, and take care for now. I love you,” Andrew say to Lilly hanging up the phone, and leaving the area.

Lilly watch Andrew leaving the area, and whisper under her breath, “See you in one month honey, and I will always love you.” She got up from her spot, walking with her friends outside the visiting area, and asking one cop if he can give this picture to Andrew for her. The cop look at the picture in his hands, and say that he will do that for her. Lilly walk away from the prison, and sat in the car watching everyone else entering the car. Mellissa started the car, backing out of the parking spot, and leaving the grounds.

They drove along the highway back to home, when Sarah spoke up nicely to Lilly, “So that Andrew. He look like a very nice guy, and very good looking. You are a lucky woman to have him, he does not look like he will hurt a fly, and no way he did not to that crime at all. How old is he anyway?”

Lilly spoke to Sarah nicely looking out the passenger window, “Yes that Andrew, he 26 years old, and he very caring to me. I hate seeing him in jail right now, I miss having him to keep me warm during those cold nights. Plus having him around all together, I wish he was not in jail.” A tear was shed from Lilly eyes, and she sat there so quiet.

Mellissa spoke to Lilly, “You know, he could be out in a month, it depends on court. After they hear the truth from Andrew and you, they have to let him go, after they hear the right words. Right now you need to get out of those old clothes and into some clean ones. In addition, it will almost supper time when we get home, and Lilly, I want you to rest up a bit before we eat. Don’t worry about helping us right now. You had a big day today, and we don’t want to overstress you right now.” Mellissa pull into the driveway, parking the car in the parking spot, and shutting of the car. Mellissa look at Sarah and Rose to say to them nicely, “Why do you two go inside to see if Supper is done. Lilly and I are going to have a small talk before we head inside.”

Mellissa and Lilly watch Sarah and Rose leaving the car, Lilly look over at Mellissa to ask, “What will you like to talk about?”

Mellissa look at Lilly to say, “How about your health? I was watching you went the doctor ask you if you have been coughing up blood, and throwing up blood. You had to think for a bit before you answer the question. Tell me the truth, it can be our little secret, I will not tell anyone in the family.”

Lilly look at Mellissa and saying to her in a lairing voice, “I have not been doing that, I am okay. I just tired that all. Now excess me, I have to clean up for supper.” Lilly exit the car heading up to the house, and leaving Mellissa in the car alone.

Mellissa was thinking along on Lilly health, and saying to herself, “I will have to keep a closer eye on Lilly now. I bet she hiding something from us, and it can effect the baby health and hers too. I do not want anything bad happen to the baby and her. I better get inside the house before my family wonder what I am doing.” Mellissa exit the car walking up to the house, and entering the house to have some supper.
