Night Angel

Even angels fall.

Ammael, one such angel—once known as a god in times long past—has blackened his wings in an unspeakable way: An attempt to drink from the blood of his Creator to, achieve true Godhood. With no punishment able to undo his stain, his brethren have no choice but to cast him from Heaven and away from the Light of Salvation, in an earthen prison deep beneath the ground, depriving him even of dreams, the only way for him to ever remember his past glory Above.

Resigned to his fate, Ammael lies in a stasis, eyes open but unseeing, until one day, after years immemorial, his prison is disturbed by a familiar face: one of the very same Messengers who cast him down.

“What would you do for a chance at Salvation, Brother?” Ammael hears through unused ears.
“Anything,” he whispers.

Night Angel explores the depths of depravity, the desire behind Immortality, and one of the ultimate questions: What makes a god a God? Follow Ammael on his quest to revive his wings as he travels through the material planes of the world and the fractured paths of his, mind through a time gods’ ran rampant and religion was only as powerful as the mortal who controlled it.
