One Mic

Kale is a 16 year-old white boy in a predominantly black ghetto trying to make in the hip hop industry. His grades are low and he isn't athletic. The only thing he's good at is rapping. When tragedy strikes and Kale's cousin is killed, Kale is left as his cousin's son's godfather. Now Kale has to rap not only to support himself, but his newly acquired godson. Music is their only hope.

    Ray is dead. Can Kale win the rap battle tournament and take home the prize money even after his cousin perishes?
