What the Hell is Going On?
Old Friends.
I woke up the next morning and walked downstairs to see Jax sitting in the kitchen with a baby, wait, why the hell did Jax have a baby? Am I missing something?? I walked in, "Morning." Jax looked at me and smiled, "Morning Lexi, come meet my son Abel." I walked over by Jax and sat on the chair next to him, I looked down to see a smiling little baby boy, "He's adorable Jax." He nodded, "Thanks." I looked at Jax, "Why didn't you tell me about him before?" He sighed, "Do you want to know what happened?" I nodded, he yawned, "I was with Wendy," I groaned at the mention of her name, earning a giggle from Abel and a playful glare from Jax, "Anyway, Wendy and I gave it another shot after we found out she was pregnant, she was on hard drugs again after awhile so I left her, she had Abel premature. He was in the hospital for awhile after that before I got to bring him home." I nodded, "Well he looked just like you Jax." Jax smiled, "He looks too cute to look like me." I gently slapped his shoulder, "Stop. It's true and you know it." He sighed, "So what are you doing today?" I shrugged, "What is there left to do in this sleepy little town?" He laughed, "Why don't you go see Bella and Jade? They'll be happy to see ya back." I smiled, "They're still here?" He nodded, "Neither have much choice considering that they're ol' ladies now." I looked at him, "Really?" He nodded, "Bella's been with Juice for almost two years now, and well you know Jade and Happy been together for awhile." I nodded, "Well good for them, I think I'm gonna go get my bike from Gemma's and head out and find them." Jax looked at me, "You got a bike?" I smiled and nodded, "I learned to ride Jax." He smiled, "That's awesome. We should go for a ride sometime." I nodded, "I'm gonna go get ready and find the girls." He nodded, "Alright." I went upstairs and showered, got out and got dressed, this shirt, this vest over top, these jeans, and these shoes.
I walked downstairs after putting my hair in a ponytail and hugged Jax, "I'll be back later, k?" He nodded, "Be careful out there Lexi." I nodded, "I always am. See ya Jax. Bye Abel." I walked over and kissed Jax on the cheek, then Abel, he smiled. I smiled and walked out and started walking to Gemma's. I got to Gemma's and seen my bike still in the garage, I walked in and opened the door, got the bike out and shut the door. I got on my bike and drove to the diner, I parked the bike and walked in to see three girls I recognized, Jade, Bella, and...Ava? What the hell is she doing here? I walked over and Jade and Bella got up and hugged me, "Lexi! We missed you!" I laughed, "I missed you guys too. Ava, when did you get here?" She sighed, "It's getting bad Lexi. Real bad." I sighed and thought, "We need to go to our old hangout, you guys remember, right?" They all nodded and we walked out to our bikes, we got on and drove to a little spot not too far from the lake. We stopped and I looked at them, "What's going on Ava?" She sighed, "Estoy feliz de que estés vivo." (I'm just happy you're alive.) I was confused now, "¿Qué quiere decir?" (What do you mean?) Jade spoke, "¿Hay alguna razón por la que se habla español?" (Is there a reason we are speaking Spanish?) Bella looked at her, "Sí, ¿y si alguien trata de que nos escucha?" (Yes, what if someones tries listening to us?) I sighed, "Ahora, lo que está pasando en Ava?" (Now, what is going on Ava?) She looked at me, "Su papá. Hes todos matanza. Tenía miedo de que te maten también. Yo corrí y traté de encontrar, así que me gustaría saber si estaban vivos o muertos. ¿Qué vamos a hacer Alex?" (Its dad. Heś killing everyone. I was afraid he killed you too. I ran and tried to find you, so I would know if you were alive or dead. What are we going to do Alex?) I sighed, "Vamos a poner bajo por ahora, mantenerse cerca de los chicos. Evitar cualquier mayas que vemos y que tenga cuidado." (We are going to lay low for now, keep close to the guys. Avoid any Mayans we see and be careful.) Ava nodded, "Buena idea. ¿Dónde vives?" (Good idea. Where are you staying?) I looked around, "Yo sé, yo me quedo con Jax." (I know, I am staying with Jax." She nodded, "We should probably go now." I nodded, "Come see me sometime." They nodded, "We will." I smiled and got on my bike and drove off back to find Jax.
