Problematique

Belle's POV:  

Three months had passed and I have never been more in love with Ryan.

Hot Chelle Rae's new song "Tonight Tonight" was just released and the band was getting noticed.

"We've been in the Top 10 for three weeks now!" Ian said excitedly.

"And I think we need a party to celebrate," Nash said draping his arm around Kylie's shoulder.

"I like that idea," I agreed sitting next to Jamie.

"I'll go call Casey," Ian smiled as he stood up and walked outside, phone in hand.

"I need a girlfriend," Jamie sighed as I giggled.

"You're 17, you've got some time," I laughed. 

"Well you're 21!" He challenged.

"Exactly," Ryan said sitting down as I smiled smugly.

I crawled into Ryan's lap as he wrapped his arms around my waist and rested his hands on my stomach.

"Casey's coming over," Ian called from the kitchen.

"Then I'll go order food," I said trying to wriggle out of Ryan's lap.

"No don't go," he pouted as he held me down.

"I'll be back soon," I laughed as I pressed my lips to his and quickly ran to the kitchen.

"The food's gonna be here in 20 minutes!" I called after hanging up the phone.

I was looking in the fridge for beers when a familiar song came on the radio.

"It's on!" I screamed excitedly as I began to sing along.

"Tonight tonight, there's a party on the rooftop top of the world," I sang as Ryan joined me in the kitchen.

"You sound so sexy when you sing," he said placing his hands on my hips.

"Right back at ya," I smiled as I continued to sing. 

"And that was Tonight Tonight by Hot Chelle Rae, currently #1 in the Top 10," the man on the radio said before he was cut off by my screaming.

"#1 OHMYGOD!" I screamed as I jumped into Ryan's arms.

"We're #1 guys!" Ryan called.

A chorus of "woo hoos!" erupted from the living room.

I stood up on my tippy toes and forcefully kissed Ryan.
He knotted his hands in my hair as I wrapped my arms around his neck.
He pressed his tongue to my lower lip as I opened my mouth. 

"Um?" 

We both turned to see Kylie standing there with a smug look on her face.

"You kids," she joked as Ryan and I laughed.

I quickly fixed my hair and walked back to the living room.

Nash whistled as Kylie shot him a look.

"Um Rk, you got a little red on your lips," Ian said trying not to laugh.

I turned to realize Ryan had my lipstick all over his lips.

He quickly wiped it away as everyone laughed hysterically. 

"Poor-baby," I said between fits of laughter as Ryan turned a shade of red.

The food arrived shortly after and we decided to watch a movie. 

"Let's watch The Notebook?" Kylie suggested followed by groans.

"How bout Insidious?" Casey asked quietly as Ian smiled.

"Insidious it is," he said as he pecked her cheek. 

"Do you like scary movies?" Ryan asked as he laid his head in my lap.

"Yessireebub," I replied playing with his hair. 

Halfway through the movie and I was exhausted. 

I looked over to see Kylie and Nash sleeping on the couch, and Casey burying her head in Ian's chest from fright.
Somehow I ended up lying across the couch, my head in Ryan's lap.

"I'm tired," I said stifling a yawn as Ryan looked down at me. 

"Should I take you home?" He asked quietly as I shook my head.

"The couch is fine," I said closing my eyes.

"No way, the guest stays in my room," Ryan said as I gave him a confused look.

"I'll take the couch," he answered for my confused face. 

"That's not fair!" I challenged.

"Life isn't fair," he replied smugly.

"I am sleeping on the couch," I said firmly as Ryan groaned in frustration.

"Alright," he said finally giving in.

"I'll be right back," he said as he carefully got off the couch.

My eyelids suddenly felt heavy as I let them close.

Ryan's POV:

I went to the closet to retrieve some blankets and then went back to the couch.

I saw Belle and realized she had fallen asleep. 

I put the blankets down and carefully put my arms under her, to carry her to my room.

I gently set her down on the bed as she rolled onto her side and curled up in a ball.

"You are so God damn adorable," I whispered as I stroked her cheek.

I closed the door and retreated to the couch.
