Save your heart.

Lips that felt just like the inside of a rose.

*Jess*

I followed him 'til my house. When he said "follow me" I thought we'd go somewhere else, not my house, but well. He parked the car and I did the same. I got out of the car.

"Come with me." He said.

We walked together to a bench just around the corner of my house, but we didn't sit down.

*John*

I got closer to Jessie. So close that we could probably breathe the same air. Her breathing sped up.
I noticed that her eyelashes were naturally long. She wasn't wearing any make up, and she was looking perfect. I doubt you can tell the same about a lot of girls. Her nose was small, and her lower lip was slightly bigger than her upper one. I also noticed she had some freckles around the nose.
I gently placed my hand between her neck and her face and got a bit closer. Jessie closed her eyes softly and our lips brushed. It was a sweet kiss, innocent. After the kiss, Jessie didn't open her eyes until some seconds passed. Then, she opened them, and smiled with her lips closed.

"Do you want to go out with me?" I asked.

*Jess*

We kissed. A lovely, timid kiss. I loved it. I loved John.

"Do you want to go out with me?" He asked.

I would immediately say yes, but, could I take the risk? I thought about it for some seconds, but screw it!

"Yes!" I answered. If something went the wrong way, it was because it was meant to go that way. But John was the person that was making me happy at that moment, so it was an easy choice. I was happy again. I hugged him, throwing my arms around his neck, while he threw his around my waist, lifting me off the ground.

"I love you." He whispered to my ear. I nodded and changed the positions of our arms, me putting them around his waist. I rested my head in his chest, just like I wished the other day. He kissed me in the head and I hugged him tighter.
"Me too." I told him. Then he walked me home by his hand. I stood on my tiptoes and he gave me a little kiss.

When I got home, I spent the rest of the evening in my bedroom, customizing clothes. It was something I did in the past. Adding pockets to my T-Shirts, or painting on them, or attaching things. I liked doing it, because it helped me relax and also, I was getting "new" clothes for a little amount of money.

Dakota spent the night at Garrett's, so I didn't see her until the next morning, when she came with lots of bags. Shit! Bags! The shopping I did the previous day was still in my trunk! Shit, shit, shit! The chocolate was probably melted. Oh, fuck. I got out of the house, running towards the car. I got back home less than a minute after, with two bags. The first thing I did was to check if the chocolate was in good conditions, and luckily, it was. I got dressed (I ran to the car in my PJ's, which wasn't a big distance, but there would always be gossipy neighbors who talked about you.) and ate half a bar of chocolate, which was looking delicious. I brushed my teeth and Dakota and I set off to the rehearsal.

Pat opened the door, again.
"Hey!" This time he hugged me too. "Nice smile!" He told me. He was one of the nicest people I'd ever met. You wanted to have him around all the time. His positivity was contagious.

Like the other day, we arrived at the bigger room, and I waved. Garrett seemed happy to see me. It's not like the others didn't wanna see me, but Garrett was happier than normal. Probably because Dakota spent the night at his house. I laughed quietly to myself.
John approached me and rested one of his hands in my hips. "Hi." He said smiling, and then, he kissed me.

"What!?" Dakota said when she saw us. "Why haven't you told me anything?" She said smiling. I shrugged my shoulder and smiled, kind of embarrassed. "You better don't hurt her, O'Callaghan." She joked.

I chit-chatted a bit with Pat and Kennedy until they decided it was time to rehearse. Before starting, Garrett came to me and rubbed his hand against my head. "I'm happy for you." He said, smiling. He then kissed me on the cheek and I smiled at him. Garrett is like a brother to me, and yes, I love him a lot. When Dakota and him started dating, I knew he was a good guy, and I was glad they were in love. I've always thought that they are the perfect couple.

Before playing the first song, Garrett grabbed a mic and started talking.
"Hold on, everybody." He said. The guys complained, but he continued. "Today is Dakota's and my first anniversary." He said, smiley. "Hopefully the first of many." He murmured while trying to figure out how to continue. "And I have to tell you, Dakota, that if a zombie attack happens, I'll be there to save you." Some laughs could be heard, mine being one of them. "But as there aren't zombies yet, I've chosen other way to show you my love." This time, some "awwww's" could be heard. Pat drumrolled while Garrett took off his shoe and sock. "Ta-ra!" He said, showing his tattoo to Dakota. She approached him and looked at the tattoo. She smiled happy and kissed Garrett, as the guys whistled.
"Love,..." Dakota said, still smiling. "...our anniversary is tomorrow." The guys laughed again, and Garrett put on his shoe again, laughing too. I also laughed.
"Well, happy early anniversary, then!" He said, while they kissed again. "But did you like it?" He asked.
"I loved it." Dakota said, smiling.

Finally! I had the same amount of chapters in Spanish and in English. So from now on, I'll only post chapters in English, as no one reads the story in Spanish (hahahaha, what a loser I am).
Again, I apologize for my mistakes, which are probably terrible (I'm sorry if I make your eyes bleed).
Don't you love Garrett? I love the relationship he has with Jessie, even thought they haven't know each other for a long time. How cute is he in this chapter? I had fun writing his part :)
Well, hope you liked it!
And any comment about the story is welcome!
Thank you for reading <
