Understanding What We Have Grown to Be

I opened my eyes in Kyles room only to see a blue eyed bassist staring at me
"Why are you here?" I asked Andy.
"Cuz Kyle has assigned you to do a scavenger hunt and he wants me to help you" He replied standing up.
"That sounds like fun!"
"Well get ready and lets go!"
I wiped my face with my hands and pulled my hair into a ponytail
"I'm ready"
Andy stared at me with a slight smile on his face. The first clue was on the door of his room and it read 'You will find this next clue very close to my heart' I hit Andy on the arm and yelled
"Dave's basement!"
"Ow! What does that have to do with the clue?" He asked.
"Read it" I handed him the paper and he let out a long 'oh.'
"Let's go!" I grabbed Andy's hand and ran to Dave's house and to the basement and the first place I looked was Kyle's microphone while Andy looked at guitars and his bass. I heard a loud "Found it!" from Andy
"Well what does it say?" I asked.
"You had the best night of your life at this place. BE CAREFUL OF ALL THE PEOPLE. Your looking for a very close friend"
"I went to the pier last night with him" I said.
"That's probably it, Cassie"
"How are we gunna get there?" I asked.
"Fly" Andy shrugged his shoulders and I looked at him and asked
"Got any wings?"
"I was kidding! We can walk"
"That sounds more like it. I need the exercise getting a little tubby" I laughed.
"No your not! Your perfect how you are"
I linked arms with Andy walked the two mile walk to the pier and since it was nice out we didn't mind and Andy would talk until he mentioned a video he recently made
"I made a new video called 'I Dream Of Her' You gotta watch it"
"What is it about?" I asked.
"I keep thinking about a very special lady and I don't wanna tell her how I feel the video is doing for me"
"Who is it for?"
"That Sierra girl I was telling you about. I want you to watch it so you can tell me if it is good enough to send to her"
"Andy i'm sure it is. Just go for it! if she doesn't like it then she isn't the right girl for you but I will watch it" I gave Andy a big hug and kept walking.
-Andy's POV-
I was really enjoying spending this personal time with cassie the more time I spent with her the more I falling for her, the video I Dream Of her was about Cassie. Kyle sent me a text that read
"How is it going?"
"Awesome!" I texted back.
"Good! Are you guys headed to the pier?"
"Yeah we are walking"
"Why dude?"
"She wanted to walk"
"Ok. Well your looking for Lou, Don't tell her"
"Got it!"
"Thanks Andy!"
"Anytime bro!"
I looked back at Cassie who looked so beautiful with the wind wipping in her hair and looking at me and smiled and I couldn't help to smile back.
-Cassie's POV-
I was really excited to see what kyle had prepared for me at the pier I was so happy that Kyle had chosen Andy to come with me and included all of my best friends in it well I hope he did. I had no idea who he had waiting at the pier. I forgot how long Andy and I had been walking and we were still inking arms I'm glad we still were because he was most likely paying more attention then I was and I probably would have kept walking and know where I was going I just couldn't keep my mind of Kyle
"We are here!" Andy yelled. I heard him yell and snapped back into reality and grabbed his hand and ran as fast I could to the pier with him trailing far behind I had accidentally let go of his hand out of pure excitement and I finally reached the pier and yelled
"Andy we are here!" I turned around to not see him there "Andy?" I yelled. Out of nowhere I see him jogging up to me out of breath when he gets to me
"Why.....did....you.....take..off?" he asked out of breath.
"Why didn't you speed up?" I replied.
"Don't put this on me" he was still catching his breath.
"We will get you some water"
"No I need air"
"Just freaking breathe Andy!"
"I can't"
I laughed and we found our way to a stand and bought some water for my breathless friend who was gunna die and we walked around looking Kyle clue
"Now Kyle said be careful for all the people" I said.
"Your very observant" he sarcastically replied.
"Shut up!" I playfully pushed him.
"who are we looking........LOU!!" I ran to my best friend and gave him a big hug and kiss on the cheek and asked "Whats the clue?"
"I don't have a clue for you" Lou replied.
"Lou don't tell me that! Andy and I walked all this way" I replied.
"Ok here is your clue" he replied. Lou handed me a piece of paper that had kyle's nice pemmeship it read 'Not that you almost finished there is one more place before you find me. this next clue is under your head.'
"what the heck?!" I yelled.
"Your bed" Lou said.
"Lou are you coming with us?" I asked.
"No Kyle said I couldn't"
"Ok well let's go Andy"
I grabbed Andy's hand and walked back to my house which seemed shorter than walking there because Andy and I talked so much back. When we finally got to my house we walked up to my room and I grabbed the pillow and threw it playfully at Andy's face and grabbed the note and it read 'Congratulations you finished but you still have to find me, well i'll give you a hint i'm somewhere you do not want to be.'
"This makes no sense" I said.
"Let me see it" Andy asked after reaching his hand out. He read it aloud "Yeah it makes no sense"
"Your not helping Andy" I plopped on my bed and studying the note and put my chin in my palm.
"Dude you should watch that video" Andy said sitting down next to me.
"Good idea" I grabbed my laptop and went to youtube and watched 'I Dream Of Her' and it was so beautiful how Andy felt about Sierra. It was a lot of him thinking and laying down then he drew the most beautiful picture ever. I looked up at Andy who still had his eyes on the computer and I said softly
"Sierra is going to love it. Any girl would love it"
"You really think so?" he replied.
"Of course"
"So let's say I made it for you. What would you do?"
"Well I have a boyfriend"
"Let's say you didn't. What would you say?"
"I would feel really special and your a great guy. Do you wanna finish this thingy?"
"Yeah!"
I thought for a second
"I think I got it!"
"What?" Andy said.
"Eric's bedroom. He has a snake!"
"really? thats it?"
"Yes! I can't stand snakes"
"On to Eric's!"
"Your holding my hand though"
"Ok"
I walked nervously to Eric's house and I squeezed Andy's hand harder
"OW! Not so tight" he said.
"I'm sorry! You have no idea how much I hate snakes" I replied.
"Yes I do and it's ok you got me"
We walked inside to Eric's room where we saw the boa sleeping in his cage I didn't care that it was sleeping it was a freaking snake so I grabbed Andy's arm and hid behind him and didn't see Kyle anywhere
"He's not here. let's go" I turned to walk out while Andy grabbed my waist and turned me around and I was really close to his body
"He didn't send us on a wild goose chase for nothing" he said.
"Andy do you know something I don't?"
"Yes"
"Tell me"
"Okay Kyle is out of town so he gathered everyone here and he is on Skype"
"Andy it's just me and you"
"Ah but it's not" Out of nowhere Lou, Josh, Eric and Dave came in the room.
"We got good news!" Josh said.
"What is it?" I asked.
Eric logged on to the computer, opened up Skype and scrolled to Kyle's name and clicked video call. All of a sudden Kyle popped up
"You finished my scavenger hunt!"
"No I didn't!" I joked.
"Andy did you tell her?"
"No! Cassie tell him the truth!" Andy said.
"Haha Andy calmed down. Yes we finished. Tell me the news!" I begged.
"We are going on tour!!!" Lou shouted.
