Running Into You

I bummed around for the next two hours with Logan. We watched a movie, then had to get ready. Noah came back from the gym and got a shower. Landon called and said he’d meet us there.

“You almost ready?” Harley called from downstairs.

“Yep,” I said, picking up my bag that I was taking to Jaime’s.

We got in the car, and drove to the club, by the time we got there it was 10pm. We walked into the club, it was packed for it being a Thursday.

We pushed our way to the bar. I pulled out my phone, to text Landon and ask where they were. Harley was upset because Danny couldn’t because he had work.

I got myself a drink and made my way threw the crowd of people, with Harley. Logan had already found a guy that she was grinding with. We look for people we new, eventually we found Landon, and the guys.

I walked up to the table and Jaime had another girl on his lap.
Uh…?

I looked from Harley back to Jaime. He finally looked up at me, his eyes got wide,

“Babe, its not what it looks like…” He said, mumbling something.
“Damn, that sounds bad but… its not!” he said, pushing the girl off.

I was in too much shock to even say anything. I just stared at him. What the fuck? I mean, not even five hours has passed since he asked me to be his girlfriend and fucked me in the shower. Did I mean so little to him? I was beyond confused. I just walked away, I went outside. Harley tried to follow me.

“No, stay,” I said, walking to the door.

“Don’t do anything stupid,” she said, concerned. I shook my head,

“I’ll be fine, I just need air. I’ll be right back,” I said, walking out the door.

I pulled out my Newport’s and lit up. Damn, I must really be naïve. I thought he was different from other guys. I pulled my hair, this is why I don’t date guys in bands, cheaters. I hate to stereotype, that’s not how I am. But, every guy I had ever dated in a band has cheated on me. I deserve better.

Just then Jaime walked out of the club. I ignored him, as he sat down on the curb next to me.

“Listen…” he started, but I put my hand up to cut him off. I haven’t looked at him yet.

“Don’t talk… just…let me think,” I said, taking a drag of my cigarette.
He nodded. We sat in silence for a few minutes.

“Jaime, don’t talk. Just listen, I thought you were different. I thought you cared…” He tried to interrupt, but I put my hand out again.

“It hurt me, what was going on?” I asked, finally for the first time looking at him. I had tears in my eyes. He looked at me with sadness.

“She is a girl that has been trying to get with me… I kinda had a hit it and quit it thing with her, she was trying to get me to come back with her tonight. I told her that I had plans with my girlfriend. That’s when you walked up. She was trying to… seduce me.. I guess.. I am sorry so. You can ask anyone of the guys,” he said, taking my hands in his.

I wanted to believe him, and I think I did. I just wanted to be sure. I couldn’t handle it if he was lying to me on top of trying to get with another girl.

I nodded my head, and finished my smoke.

“I’ll talk to them, Quiero creer que Jaime, porque Te amo,” I said, walking back into the club. Harley immediately pulled me threw the club, into the bathroom.

“I PLEAD JAIME’S CASE!” she says, loudly.

“What the fuck does that even mean?” I asked, leaning against a sink.

“It mean, Jaime is innocent, and that whore was just trying to get in his pants. Landon told me everything, plus… I kind of coroner the bitch,” she said, checking out he make-up in the mirror.

“You positive? Cause I talked to Jaime… and he said the same thing. And I want to believe him its just so hard,” I said

“Yeah, I know sweetie. Yes, I believe him,” she said, giving me a sympathetic look.

“I guess I should go apologize, for being and over reacted bitch…” I said

“Honey it’s okay to over react, you have been cheated on and dumped,” she said, hugging me. I walked out of the bathroom.

I sighed, wishing that this night that had barley started was over. I just wanted to apologize to Jaime and hold him tight. I felt like a bitch. I was lost in my thoughts when I walked into someone.

“God, I’m so sorry, I wasn’t…” I looked up and a smiled so big broke out of my face.

“It’s okay, I tend to walk into pretty girls a lot,” he said, looking down at me.

“I’m sorry,” I said, snaking my arms around his waist.

“You have nothing to be sorry for, I would reacted the same way,” he said, wrapping me up in his arms. I got on my tippie toes and kissed him lightly.

He grabbed my hand and pulled me to the table, I slid into the both and he got in next to me. Mike was coming back with drinks, I grabbed one.

“Is the new happy couple, happy again?” he asked, being a smart-ass .

“Shut the fuck, Mike,” I said, leaning my head on Jaime shoulder.

He rubbed the inside of my thigh with his left hand. Moving from my knee all the way up. I bumped him with my knee. I took a sip of my drink, and coughed slightly.

“Damn, Mike… that’s straight whiskey,” I said, shaking my head and handing it to Jaime.

“Shit… I thought you could throw em’ back,” Mike said, shaking his head.

“Yeah… sometimes plus, someone needs to drive us back to his place,” I said, pointing to Jaime with my thumb.

“Don’t get to drunk. I don’t know how to get to your place,” I whispered, into Jaime’s ear. I smiled at him.

“Don’t worry, this will be my only drink for tonight,” he said, with a wink. I just smiled at him.
