Field of Shadows

"Anna!" Daniel yelled.

"I'm coming!" I yelled back.

"They guys are here! Hurry up!!!!"

I left the bathroom and went to the door.

Everyone was standing outside of the door.

"Okay, okay." I said. "I'm here."

"Wow." Matt said.

Matt looked pretty good himself.

"Hi Matt." I said, blushing.

"Are you two going to stand here and make lovey dovey eyes at each other all night or are we going to go?" Jimmy asked.

"Shut up Jimmy!" I said, punching his arm.

"It is not very lady like to be punching people in a dress Anna." Daniel said.

"Do you want me to hit you too?" I asked him.

"No thank you."

"Then shut up too."

Everyone was laughing.

Matt grabbed my hand and laced our fingers together.

The guys started wolf whistling.

"Get a life!" I said.

They left us alone and we walked to the elevators.

Once we got down to the first floor, we went to the room where all the bands were suppose to meet.

In the room I saw:

My Chemical Romance
Black Veil Brides
Red Jumpsuit Apparatus
Seether
Bullet for My Valentine
Escape the Fate
Five Finger Death Punch

And many more.

Matt and I got stares from a lot of people.

Good.

Let them be jealous.

"Anna?" I turned around and met the eyes of someone I despised.

"McKenzie." I said, fake smiling.

She walked up to me and hugged me.

"How have you been!!!!" She said. "I haven't seen you in forever."

"I've been good." I said.

"And who is this cutie?" She asked, placing her hand on Matt's arm.

"He's my-" Matt cut me off.

"I'm her boyfriend." Matt said, pulling me close to him.

"Yeah. He's my boyfriend." I said.

"Oh. How nice." She said, faking a laugh. "Well my band is waiting for me. Bye."

She walked away and I looked at Matt.

"Boyfriend huh?" I asked.

"Yeah. Only if you want me to be?" He asked.

"I'd like that Matt." I said, smiling.

We walked to the table where we were sitting.

"So tell me about this McKenzie?" Matt said.

"She is a world class bitch!" Mikaela said.

"She is also a nasty two timing cunt." Daniel said.

"She dated Daniel about two months ago and she was cheating on him with the singer for Five Finger Death Punch. Then she became their manager." I said.

"What a fucking slut." Matt said.

"I know." I said. "I fucking hate cheaters."

"Me too." He said.

We stopped talking and the hostess started talking.

"Hello and welcome to the 4Th Annual Rock Band Honor Awards." She said. "We have some big nominees this year."

She kept talking and talking.

I stopped listening and looked at mine and Matt's hands.

I'm not going to lie.

I was a little surprised when he told McKenzie he was my boyfriend.

But in a way, I was kinda glad he did tell her.

I smiled to myself.

I'm Matt's girlfriend now.

And he's my boyfriend now.

"And now. Announcing the awards for best manager. The nominees are:

Brian Schechter - My Chemical Romance
Anna-Sophia McCauley - Knights of Tomorrow
Max Green - Escape the Fate
Mark Stickland - Bullet for My Valentine
McKenzie Fox - Five Finger Death Punch

And the winner is: Anna-Sophia!! Knights of Tomorrow."

I smiled and stood up.

Matt stood up as well.

He kissed and hugged me.

I walked up to the stage and took my award.

"Thank you! Wow. Best manager huh?" I said. "I was up against some pretty tough competition. Except for one fellow manager."

I looked at McKenzie when I said the last line.

"I just wanted to thank my band for being so awesome. And that's about it."

Everyone clapped and I walked back stage, then went back to the table.

"Congratulations babe." Matt said, kissing me again.

"Babe?" Daniel asked.

"Yeah. I asked her to be my girlfriend and she said yes." Matt said.

"Hell yeah!!!" Jimmy yelled. "We got a new family member."

I started to laugh.

"And we got a new one to ours." Bruce said.

"By the way, congrats bestie." Blake said.

"Yeah. You are the best manager." Derek said.

"Fuck yeah I am."

"And she's a cusser." Brian said.

"You picked a good one Matt." Daniel said.

"Just be good to her, or I'll fuck you up." Mikaela said.

We all started to laugh.

"Damn straight she will." I said.

"Don't any of you worry." Matt said, placing his arm around my shoulder. "I'll be good to her."

I leaned into him and smiled.

-After Awards-

The band got an award for hottest new single.

We all went back up to the hotel room and Mikaela and I changed our clothes.

Once we finished, we meet the guys and went to the club that Matt and I went to the previous night.

I sat on Matt's lap and we laughed as everyone was goofing off.

Matt started to whisper in my ear and it sent shivers down my spine.

"Why don't we go back to my room and lock all the doors?" I whispered to him.

"I like that idea." He said, eyes full of seduction.

"Hey, we are going to go up to the room." I told everyone.

"Get some Matt!" The guys all said.

"Oh lets go before they make this worse." I said, grabbing his hand.

We made our way to the hotel room.

It wasn't long before all our clothes were off and....
