Field of Shadows

I woke up to see a bare chest, full of tattoos.

I smiled as last nights memories filled my head.

I sat up and looked at the bed next to me.

There was no one there.

Mikaela must of stayed next door.

The bed started to move next to me.

Matt was stirring around.

I was suddenly pulled back down and Matt's arms were around me.

"Good morning beautiful." He mumbled, kissing my temple.

"Good morning. How'd you sleep?" I asked.

"I slept good with you in my arms."

I started to blush and giggle.

"I slept good too. You are nice and warm."

"That's good." Matt said, laughing.

"What time is it?" I asked.

Matt let go off me and grabbed his phone.

"9:50."

"Oh. I leave today." I said.

"Really? We do too." Matt said.

"Man, this is just so weird."

Before Matt could answer, there was a knock on the door.

"Anna!! Matt!!" Jimmy called through.

"Hang on." I yelled back.

"Guess that's our cue to get up." Matt said, laughing.

"Yeah. Unfortunately."

Matt let me go and we got up.

He put on his boxers and I put my clothes on.

I went to the door and everyone was at the door.

"Whoa!" I said.

"Hey. Anna." Daniel said, winking at me.

"You guys did the nasty.." Mikaela said.

I started to laugh.

"Yes, we did the nasty."

"You guys move fast." Zacky said.

"Ugh. Leave."

"I need my stuff." Mikaela said.

"What time are we leaving?" I asked.

"Umm, 12." Daniel said.

"Alright." I said.

"Can I come in and get my stuff?" Mikaela asked.

"Yeah."

Mikaela came in and I shut the door on everyone else.

"Hey Matt." Mikaela said.

"Hey." Matt said, back.

"I'll just grab my stuff and go." She said.

"No. It's okay." Matt said, standing up. "I need to go back my stuff too."

"Okay." Mikaela said.

Matt came over to me and gave me a hug.

"I'll see you later babe." He said, kissing my lips.

"Okay. Bye babe." I said.

He left and Mikaela screamed.

"Omg!!" She said. "You snagged a good one."

"I know!!" I squealed. "Where did you stay last night?"

"I stayed with the guys. Derek slept on the floor and I slept with Daniel."

"Oh." I said. "Fuck dude. I'm sore."

"Hahahaha, that's pretty fucking hilarious."

"Shut up!" I said.

"But it's so funny." She said.

"Whatever." I said, slapping her arm. "I'm going to shower."

"Okay. I'll shower after you."

I went to the bathroom and showered.

Once I finished, I put on my clothes, while Mikaela showered.

When she finished, I went back into the bathroom and did my hair and make up.

When I was finished, Mikaela went and did her hair and make up.

I started to pack and made sure I had everything.

My phone started going off.

It was a text.

Matt: I just wanted to say, I had a great time last night! ;)

Anna: I had a great time last night too!!!! ;)

Matt: I'll see you in a few babe.

Anna: Okay babe.

I set my phone down and smiled.

I couldn't even describe how Matt made me feel.

"Anna! What time is it?" Mikaela yelled from the bathroom.

"Umm, it's 11:30." I said.

Mental note to self: Start getting ready faster.

"Alright!" She said, coming out of the bathroom.

We finished packing and I checked us out.

We met all the guys down stairs.

Matt looked good as ever.

"Alright. It's time to go." I said, looking at my shoes.

"What's wrong Anna?" Matt asked, coming over to me.

"I don't want to leave you." I mumbled.

"Babe! We are leaving too. And when we get to Huntington, you can come over." He said.

"Okay baby!" I said, becoming happy again.

"What are we waiting for?" Jimmy said. "Let's get this road trip on the way."

Matt grabbed my hand and we went to get our vehicles.

Another 5 long hours of driving.

But this time, I'll have Matt there.
