John went to another bathroom to get ready, Emily ran into the closet and chose her Outfit She quickly slipped into her Yellow floral Bikini then pull her pretty denim dress over it that was very lake appropriate , she grabbed some black flip flops and put them on her feet. As she pulled on her hat and some aviator glasses she smiled and rushed downstairs, as she walked out Austin caught sight of her and ran pulling her over his shoulder, Emily squealed.
“Austin Chandler Gibbs put me down now!” Emily yelled hitting his back.
“Nuh- uh you’re coming with me and Talia!”
“I was planning to do that anyway!” She yelled and felt light headed from being upside down.
“Fine…fun spoiler” He said putting her back on her feet, she hit his arm but he just pulled her in a hug making her roll her eyes and hugged back.
“Gibbs let go of my best friend!” Talia yelled pulling Emily out of Austin’s arms and hugging her while Austin pouted.
“Hey Pat! Here you go!” Austin yelled flinging the keys to his mustang, everyone looked at him shocked.
“w-what…?” Pat stuttered.
“You can drive my car while Millie, Talia and I have fun sitting in the back seat” He explained and Pat started jumping in excitement.
“I call middle!” Austin yelled suddenly and Talia groaned playfully.
“Fine!” She and Talia yelled.
“What’s the middle” That raspy voice that never failed to make her heart skip a beat asked, she turned to him.
“Austin is riding middle between the two of us” She smiled and he frowned.
“Oh you’re going in Austin’s car then?”
“Yup” She smiled but he frowned.
“Let’s go!!” Jack yelled making everyone chuckle and enter their cars, Emily looked at John before going in the backseat of Austin’s car, and John looked slightly sad and annoyed.

Pat pulled out first, so their car was leading the way to the lake, behind was John’s white four wheel drive that was filled with his band members, then there was the car while the All Time low band, then Brittany and Tim after them. Pat turned on the radio ‘That’s what makes you beautiful’ by One Direction blasted through the speakers, Emily and Talia grinned and started yelling….singing;

Emily and Talia sang and then both tickled Austin until he started singing which he begrudgingly did;

Austin wrapped his arm around Emily and Talia as he was in the middle.

John’s P.O.V

John was driving his Car and as he was looking ahead he had no choice but to look at Talia, Austin and Emily. He saw them waving their hands up in the air while singing John’s eyes rested on Emily and he saw her laughing and having all the fun in the world. Austin wrapped his arm around Emily John clenched his jaw, albeit Austin also had his arm around Talia, John was inexplicably jealous when Emily leaned her head on Austin’s shoulder. Then they started singing again and Austin grabbed Emily’s hat and threw it out of the car, He could almost hear Emily gasp as her hat was now long gone, she slapped Austin at the back of his head but he just laughed. Austin then proceeded at throwing both his arms around Emily hugging her…Well smothering her in his tight embrace and then he…OH HE DID NOT JUST KISS HER CHEEK!!!, John wanted to punch Austin, Emily was his Fiancé for crying out loud!
“John…? John!” Kennedy yelled beside him and John jumped.
“Huh…?”
“You alright man? You completely zoned out.” Kenny said and looked in front.
“Ohhhh! I know what your problem is” Kenny chuckle and John glared at him.
“I don’t have a problem.” John said tightly.
“Yes you do” Kenny said in an amused voice drawing Jared and Garrett into the conversation.
“Your falling for our little Miss Lovisa, not that I blame you she’s everything a girl should be”
“I’m not falling for her!” John growled when they all laughed.
“Yes you are buddy!” Jared chuckled.
“I can’t!”
“Why not?” Kenny asked frustrated.
“Because I still love Carrie!” John crumbled…slightly unsure of himself.
“No what you and Carrie had was anything but love!”
“Shut up Kenny!”
“I don’t get you why are you so against this John!” Kennedy yelled back.
“Because!!!”
“Guys calm down” Garrett said trying to stop his friends yelling at each other,
“SHUT UP!” Kennedy and John yelled at the same time.
“Because what huh John?! Why can’t you love her!?” Kennedy yelled back at John whose face was red, green eyes sharp.
“BECAUSE I DON’T DESERVE SOMEONE LIKE HER!”

***Silence***

“Maybe you don’t John…but you’re lucky enough to have her in your life and it’s obvious that she cares for you, that’s more than you can say about Carrie so forget about Carrie John” Kenny sighed, still frustrated.
“I can’t” John said again and all the guys groaned.
“You’re an idiot John and if you keep that way you are going to miss out on perhaps the best thing that has happened to you, forced or not” Kenny said and looked away from John.
“And there are many guys who will be ready to snap her up, because in case you haven’t noticed she tends to have many of them after her… So stop being a moron soon” Jared added his part.
All of them stayed quiet the whole way to the lake, they weren’t angry at John but they were most certainly frustrated at him.

Emily got out of Austin’s car still pouting at the loss of her hat. She saw John’s car pulling in the parking and she didn’t miss the annoyed glances John and Kennedy shared as they got out of the car. John looked so pissed she wasn’t sure if she wanted to ask if he was alright.
“So what exactly did we walk in this morning?” Talia asked standing next to her.
“Nothing, last night we were ugh… ‘Bonding’ and fell asleep…”
“Bonding is that what you kids call it” Talia winked suggestively.
“TALIA! THAT WAS NOT WHAT HAPPENED!”
“Really?” Talia raised an eye brow.
“You know my views on this topic young lady!” Emily said her hands on her hips.
“Right I’m sorry purity till marriage”
“No talk of purity, please…” Austin popped out of nowhere then grinned at Emily,
“Race you both to the pier!” He said running away, Talia and Emily laughed and ran after him brushing past the rest of the boys and Brittany.

John’s P.O.V

John felt himself being pushed to the side to see Austin sprinting away and Emily on his tail then Talia all laughing. Again John felt annoyed,
“What’s wrong with you?” Brittany asked nudging him.
“Nothing why the hell does everyone ask that!!!” He said harshly then stopped almost disbelieving he just lash out at her.
“Brit I’m so sorry, I really don’t know what’s wrong with me, I was fine until…”
“Until…?”
“I had an argument with Kenny” John half lied.
“Right…”She shook her head walking away, All of them put their stuff down and sat down looking at the lake, but mostly at 2 girls and a guy playing around like teenagers.
“Let’s jump off the pier!” Talia yelled pulling her oversize top off revealing a bikini, John chuckled as he saw Garrett’s eyes widen.
“OKAY!” Austin yelled pulling his top off, he was already in swim shorts, the both turned to Emily.
“Okay, okay” She chuckled.
“Get changed woman!” Austin yelled and she rolled her eyes.
“Talia can you undo the top button of the dress please” She asked but Austin was closer and just did it himself, again John felt hot lava in his stomach. Emily dress dropped to the floor and John forgot how to breath when he saw her yellow floral bikini, her toned tan body, all the guys looked at her wide eyed and watched as she grabbed Austin’s hand in hers as well as Talia’s, all of them ran full speed towards the pier and laughed as they jumped off landing in the lake with a splash.
“You are very lucky, dude your girl is hot!” Alex said and John rubbed the back of his neck nervously.

Emily’s P.O.V

Emily was having a blast at the lake with her two best friends, but even though she was so happy a part of her wanted to know what was wrong with John he seems so mad, she wondered what happened.
“Is John okay?” she asked when Kennedy sat down next to her.
“Why don’t you go ask him?” He mumbled staring at the sun setting, Emily sighed.
“Did I do something?”
“Apart from making him feel things”
“Huh?”
“You’ll understand soon enough”
“You’re speaking in riddles Gandalf!” Emily exclaimed making him laugh, she stood up and as she was about to walk to John she heard her name yelled out as she turned she came face to face with
Octavian
“Hey” He smiled and she smiled back.
“What are you doing here?” She asked but not in a rude manner but in a really wanting to know manner.
“Oh just hanging out some friends” He said pointing to 2 other guys who waved at her she waved back.
“That’s nice…” She said and looked back to where John was, she saw that he was looking at them.
“Did you guys want to join our bond fire?” Octavian asked smiling that charming smile.
“I’ll ask... be right back” She jogged to where all her friends were.
“Guys want to join a bond fire?”
“With who?” Jack asked excited
“Those guys over there” She pointed and looked at John who was still silent.
“Isn’t that the guy who saved you?” Talia asked smirking, Emily nodded.
“Then yup he’s trustworthy” Pat laughed.
“Saved you?” Alex asked confused.
“Long story” All of them answer at the same time making them all laugh.
“Octavian!” She yelled and he turned around,
“We’ll be there” She smiled and he grinned.
“Sweet!” He replied before going back to his friends.

Bond Fire

Emily was really not enjoying John’s quietness; she pulled him away from the bond fire,
“Alright who ate your cookie?”
“Huh?”
“What’s wrong John?”
“Can people please stop asking me that flipping question!”
“Well people can see something is wrong so they ask”
“I’m so tired of this…”
“Hey...”she said and pulled him in a hug, at first he was tense then he relaxed and wrapped his arms around her, she stood on her tippy toes and kissed his cheek.
“Better?”
“Much” He grinned.

Later

“So Millie…” Austin said mischievously she looked at him carefully.
“How long haven’t you played guitar?” He grinned,
“Much too long, why?”
“Here…” Austin said handing her a guitar and grabbed one himself.
“Gosh I feel like I’m in high school again” Talia laughed.
“What song?” Emily grinned,
" Guitar duel! "
“I was hoping you would say that” Emily grinned and started playing, slowly at first until both guitars started going full on battle.

John’s P.O.V

I was astounded watching Emily play the fire from the bond fire made her skin glow and the way she played she sounded fully professional, she was so beautiful that John felt his heart to flips and flops as he looked to the side he found Octavian staring at her and he didn’t like it. As Emily and Austin got really into the battle John watched and realised something he was falling for her….
