“Stop lying to yourself Avery. I’m getting sick of this bull shit.” He said, staring down at me.
“What the hell are you talking about?” I asked.

“Stop acting like you don’t care. I know you do.”

“I don’t know what you’re talking about.” My stomach tightened. I knew exactly what he was talking about.

He sat down beside me.

“I love you, and I know you love me too, Avery.”

I got up, and started to walk away. I heard his footsteps behind me.

He grabbed my hand, and turned me toward him. I was staring directly up into his beautiful brown eyes.

“What the fuck are you so afraid of?”

“Everything.” I said, it was almost a whisper but I knew he heard me.
