Party Princess Nola Blakewood is in for her worst nightmare: plaid skirts and mean girls. Despite her dad’s hope for Nola to be seen as a good girl, she gets around Hollywood by acting like the complete opposite, and when her father hears about it, he’s so angry that he sends her to a finishing school in Massachusetts. At first, her new digs don’t seem that bad, but after some prodding by the school’s ruler, Izabelle Wainwright, Nola decides it’s time to fight back for all of the outcasts at Walston Academy. With the help of her new friend Jasmine Drake, Nola attempts to change tradition in the most nontraditional of ways: by being herself.
Jasmine Drake is the lineage of previous Walston alumnus, and so far she isn’t living up to their expectations. First, she loses out on the sophomore liaison spot, then she gets in trouble with Hollywood brat Nola. But things quickly look up, thanks to the help of her new friend (who just happens to be Izabelle's boy toy) and by coming out of her shell.
