More Than Rain

So I choose to start being a girlfriend to Samuel.
I shower, I get in bed and I forget I ever liked OR kissed Joel.
Life doesn't have to be complicated and so it won't.

Morning comes and I wake up on the right side of the bed.
Brand new attitude and all.
"Morning mother, morning brother" I say as I make my way into the kitchen.
My mom and brother look at eachother with strange glances then at me.
"Morning sweetie?" My mom says, with a hint of worry.
I ignore her concern and grab a banana and skip out the door to go for a walk.
It's sunny. It's warm. And things are going to be better.
