Wildflowers

Blue eyes don't lie.

"I can't go out looking like this!" Josh yelled from the bathroom and Greyson couldn't help but laugh as she walked over sticking her head into the bathroom. Josh's cheek had officially turned purple and she had to bite her lip to keep from laughing.

"You look like a bad ass."

"You are full of shit." He grumbled turning to face her and she smiled, "Well, if it makes you feel any better I still think you're hot."

A grin hit his lips, "Kind of does."

She chuckled and he pressed his lips to hers, "I love you."

"I love you too. Now can we go eat or are you going to bitch for another hour like a girl?"

He glared at her and she laughed as she pulled him from the room.

"Bring my nice girlfriend back please." He said grabbing up his keys. She simply shook her head as they headed to the car.

Once they arrived at the diner they instantly found the guys and Max couldn't help but laugh, "Poor Franceschi."

"Sod off." Josh grumbled and Greyson chuckled from his side.

"Man, the girls are gonna be all over him more than ever now!" Dan said and Josh shot him a look as the boy snickered.

"I hate him! He cannot be the only one who gets laid this tour again!" Matt said seriously and Josh groaned not because of his statement but because he didn't know what Greyson was assuming at this moment.

"Don't listen to him." He mumbled to the girl as he yanked his beanie further down on his head.

"I don't think she cares if you were a slag before her." Matt responded and Greyson gave her boyfriend a questionable look. She did need to keep in mind there were probably several things about him she didn't know because of the almost two years they had spent apart.

"Baby...I was not a slag." He said defending himself and he shot a look at the guys, "Next word out of any of your mouths you'll leave looking like me."

Matt shrugged as the others laughed quietly. The group ate and Josh's thoughts went into over drive as he wondered what Grey would say as they left. He grabbed her hand after saying bye to the guys and once they were out in fresh air he looked over at her waiting, but nothing was ever said. He sighed and pulled her to a stop, and in return got a questionable look from her.

"Yes, I've slept with several people, but not like they made it sound and I definitely haven't slept with anyone since I saw you at the coffee shop, well, besides you of couse."

She nodded and he cupped her face, "You believe me right?"

"Yeah, and plus I can't get mad at you when we weren't even talking."

He sighed, "I know, but still. I just feel the need to defend myself. I probably shouldn't have slept with people I barely knew and I know that, but you have no idea how much you were on my mind. I thought maybe it would help me forget you."

"Josh, seriously, it's ok." She whispered grabbing his wrists and he sighed allowing her to pull his hands from her face.

"I love you." He said staring into her green eyes, "I don't want to lose you."

"Well, I do appreciate your honesty, but I'm not going anywhere."

He leaned in kissing her as his arms went around her waist. He had forgotten how she was so understanding and could make his worrying subside.

"I'm so glad I have you back." He mumbled into her hair, "You complete me Grey. I mean that. Without you I'm only half of who I could be if that makes sense."

"It does because I feel the same."

He smiled and kissed her head before pulling away, "Let's go home."

She nodded and linked their hands as they walked to the car, "So, when are you guys going to record again?" She randomly asked and his grasp tightened on her hand, "I'm not sure Grey, but you know it won't be here."

She nodded and he let out a sigh, "Please come with us. I just got you back and I don't want to be across the country from you."

"I can't. I have school. But I'm sure I can come for a few weeks at a time."

He nodded although he didn't like it one bit. He selfishly wanted her to himself no matter where he was.

"It'll be fine. Just don't sleep with anyone there yeah?" She joked and he glared at her causing her to laugh, "I'm kidding."

"Whatever." He grumbled as the got in the car.

"I loveee you." She said leaning over and kissing his cheek.

He shrugged his shoulders and she kept kissing his cheek until he groaned, "Ok! I love you too."

"Not convinced."

He couldn't hold back his smile anymore as he grabbed her face and kissed her firmly on the lips, "I love you, baby."

She smiled and sat back in her seat causing him to chuckle as he started the car.

"Crazy girl." He spoke with a smile and she grabbed his hand up.

"Maybe..."

"My crazy girl." He added kissing the top of her hand.

They arrived at his house and he held her hand on the way in as she rambled on about Max and Kacy's some what of a relationship.

"Baby..."

She looked over at him and he chuckled, "I don't care."

She frowned and he grabbed her sides pulling her to him as she spoke, "Fine. Jerk."

He smiled and kissed down her cheek, "I feel like now that we are together I can tell you that for years when you would tell me useless information I tuned you out."

"Josh!"

He laughed as she glared at him and crossed her arms.

"What? If it wasn't about you why did I care?"

"You are rude."

"Am not! You clearly never caught on to it!"

She shoved him off and he snickered as she fell onto the couch, "Fine. I just won't talk to you about anything ever again."

"Now come on sweetie, that isn't nice." He responded sitting beside her.

"Oh, just like you."

He chuckled and tickled her side causing her to squeal and hit his hand, "Josh!"

"Baby..." he cooed pressing his nose against her cheek as he snaked his arm around her waist, "I love you so much."

"Apparently not."

"Mhm. I do though. You're beautiful."

"Oh so you love me for my looks?"

"Duh." He joked and she frowned at him causing him to laugh, "I'm kidding! If that was the case I would have just slept with you years ago and moved on."

"Yeah, since you're a slag and all."

"Ouch. Ok. Deserved." He said with a grin. He was still amused by the way she was acting. He couldn't help it.

She rolled her eyes getting annoyed with the boy who began planting kisses down her jaw.

"My mum won't be home for another hour..." he said running his hand down her arm. It's not that he was a sex addict of any sort, but he liked sleeping with her. He liked touching her, kissing her and the intimacy of it all. He simply liked everything it entailed and he found it hard to fight it off some times.

She rolled her eyes and shoved his hand away before climbing from the couch.

"Baby! Come on! Seriously?! Why are you mad?!" He called after her as she headed up the stairs. She knew she had to stop giving in to him if they were going to live together. She couldn't forgive him all the time so easily either.

He goaned and got off the couch running after her only to catch up with her in their room.

"Love, come on. I was just messing around. You can talk to me about anything. Even, I don't know, about your hair. Just anything. Don't be mad at me." He said seriously and she fell onto the bed ignoring his words. He sighed and walked over climbing onto her, straddling her waist in the process, "Look at me."

She sighed and looked into his blue eyes.

"I'm sorry. I was only kidding. I love you. Forgive me?" He asked softly and she crossed her arms. He bit his lip to fight back his smile he felt coming up and leaned down to kiss her forehead.

"We don't have to have sex. Seriously. I don't just want that from you. I mean it. You know that this relationship isn't based on that right? I mean, if you never had sex with me it would be hard, but I would do it because I love you for who you are, love. I've loved you for years before now and we hadn't even kissed." He said seriously as he pinned her hands to the bed, his face only inches from hers. She felt butterflies hit her stomach again, which was funny since they were together, but it sometimes still happened.

"I know." She whispered and he kissed her lips, "And we probably wouldn't have slept together even now if you wouldn't have initiated it because I didn't want to pressure you into anything..."

She grinned, "I know."

He kissed her gently and her arms went around his torso pulling him closer to her.

"I love you." She whispered and he nuzzled his face against her neck, "I love you too, Grey."

The two fell asleep unintentionally and was eventually woke up by Josh's phone going off.

"Ello?" He mumbled his eyes still closed as he pressed his phone to his ear.

Greyson could hear Max's loud mouth on the other end and she chuckled as she cuddled closer to Joh who tghtened his grip on her.

"Mhhm." He mumbled relaxing his head on hers as her fingers traced his arm. He really couldn't focus on Max right now and Max was clearly getting irritated with the boy.

"Dude! You aren't listening to me!" Max yelled and he groaned, "I'm half asleep! Just bloody tell me! You're waking my girl up!" He said loudly.

"We need to get our shit together music wise because Mark called and said that we are leaving in two weeks to go to California!"

"What?" Josh asked his eyes shooting open. He had been so happy lately he had forgotten that this was happening so soon. He thought he had a few months at least.

Grey looked up at him as he ran his hand through his hair causing it to stand up messily. Josh sighed and spoke into the phone, "Ok, look. I've got to go. We will talk more later."

Josh's eyes never left Greyson knowing that she had heard Max. He quickly hung up and let the phone drop onto the bed. She blinked her green eyes and he brought his hand to her cheek, "You heard him huh?"

She nodded and he leaned down kissing her forehead, "Grey, you have to come with me. I can't be without you." He said narrowing his eyes together in such seriousness that Grey almost said ok.

"I can't. This is my last semester. I can't stop now."

He sighed and cuddled her to him, "I'll be miserable without you." He mumbled into her hair.

"You'll be fine. You'll be busy."

"That isn't going to stop me from thinking of you, love."

"You can call and text me as much as you want."

He stifled a laugh, "So? If I can't touch you it sucks. I need you in person."

"I'll visit. I swear because I'll miss you just as much. Plus, I need to start looking for a job and it's kind of hard with you here because I like to be with you instead."

"Yeah. This sucks." He grumbled and she smiled, "Don't worry. It'll all work out." She responded confidently. She really did feel that way. She knew how strong their relationship was and she was pretty certain if they could survive these past few weeks they could survive it all. Afterall, What could be worse than that?
