Last First Kiss Goodbye

Danny and Cameron wanted us to go with them to America while they record an Asking Alexandria record. I was speechless. I couldn’t even understand why they asked us or well, me. I could understand Ari since she was dating Cam but me. I was just the friend, James best friend.
“Are you serious?” Ari asked throwing her arms around Cam after she sat back down on his lap. I just stood there being a dumb head.
“I take it as a yes for Ari.” Cam said. I looked back between them and then Danny.
“Are you sure? Do the guys know?” I asked.
“Don’t you mean does James know? Who cares. Tisha is going so it shouldn’t matter.” Danny said.
“I have other commitment here. Sorry.” I said before walking into the kitchen. I can’t handle being in the same room as Tisha and James when together. I knew I couldn’t handle being on a plane for 12 plus hours or possible be in the same house as them.
“You are such a fucking bullshitter, Tay.” Danny said following me into the kitchen. I turned around to see him and also saw Ari and Cameron.
“I am not. I have stuff I am doing. I can’t bail on that shit now.” I said.
“What other ‘shit’ do you have to do?” Cam asked. I glared at him but he just smiled.
“I can’t leave my mom. I don’t even know how long we would be gone and I can’t. I…I…just can’t leave her here.” I said.
“Your mum will be fine. She’s a grown woman, Tay. If anything happens then we’ll all fly back and reschedule the recording.” Danny said. I shook my head.
“Are you nuts, Danny? I just…I don’t want to go.” I said.
“Why, Tay Tay?” Ari asked. I sighed.
“I’ll feel out of place.” I mumbled.
“Why would you feel out of place?” Cam asked. I turned around and went to the fridge.
“I have my reasons. Damnit, I don’t fucking want to go.” I said slamming the fridge door shut.
“You have some serious bipolar issues. Have you gotten the shit checked out?” Danny asked.
“I don’t have a bipolar issue.” I said.
“I think you do.” Danny said.
“I don’t give a fuck what you think, Worsnop.” I shouted then turned around to look at them all.
“Go lie down, Tay.” Ari said. I looked at her and I saw Cam wrap his arm around her waist. I glared at them. I walked into my room and laid on my bed and stared up at the ceiling because I knew that I wasn’t going to sleep since I had drank two monster’s energy drinks. I turned over on my side as tears came out. I heard a knock then the door opening. Who the fuck is here? Then I heard someone knock on my bedroom door.
“Go away.” I said.
“Taylor.” James said. I rolled my eyes but never said anything. I was hoping he would go away.
“Tay Tay.” He said before I heard the door opened again and then shut.
“I said go away.” I said trying to wipe my eyes with him noticing.
“What’s wrong?” James asked. I shrugged.
“Nothing is wrong. Danny doesn’t know when to shut the fuck up.” I said.
“Danny did this to you? What did he do? Did he hurt you?” James asked.
“No, he didn’t do anything.” I said.
“Then why are you crying, babe?” He asked as he climbed into my bed and cuddled up to me.
“Because Danny wouldn’t shut up about recording in America.” I said.
“Aren’t you going?” James asked. I shook my head.
“Why the fuck not?” He asked.
“I have other commitments.” I said.
“I know that’s not true, Tay.” He said.
“I’ll feel lonely, okay. I’m the only one that won’t be with someone over there. You have Tisha, Ari has Cam, Sam has Becki, and Ben, well he can fuck girls each night and never feels lonely.” I said.
“You have Danny.” James said.
“I don’t have anyone. Danny and I are just friends.” I said.
“But he likes you and you like him. This trip to America might do you some good. You and Danny might get together as more than just fuck buddies.” He said.
“Danny and I aren’t fuck buddies. We only had sex one night.” I said.
“One night?” James questioned.
“Yeah, one night.” I said. He shrugged.
“Whatever. But I think you should go. I can’t go without seeing you for weeks.” He said kissing the top of my head.
“I don’t know. I’m going to be completely honest with you, I hate Tisha. I don’t know if you know that or not but I do and you know that I’ve always got along with all your other girlfriends. It’s just…Tisha is a bitch towards me, James. I know you don’t see it because you love her and all but its true just ask all the others.” I said. James nodded.
“Tay, I really love her.” He said.
“Why did you kiss me then?” I asked.
“It was a mistake, Tay Tay. I wasn’t thinking clear.” He said. It was silent and I didn’t really have anything else to say.
“I want to talk to Danny. Is he still here?” I asked.
“I believe so, yeah.” He said getting up and walking out. Few seconds later, Danny walks into my room and hesitated at the door. I sat up on my bed, leaning against the headboard. I patted the spot beside me. He slowly made his way over and climbed onto the bed. I rested my head on his shoulder and looked up at him as he looked down at me.
“I’m sorry, Danny.” I said.
“It’s okay, love.” He said wrapping his arm around my shoulder.
“I’m going to America with you all.” I said.
“No, sorry, love. I’ve already asked someone else to go. You flipped your shit and it freaked me the fuck out. I’m sorry, Tay.” He said. I frowned.
“Oh, okay. That’s cool. I hope they have fun and you guys have fun.” I said looking down at my lap. Danny grabbed my face and made me look at him.
“I’m only kidding, Tay Tay. You’re still going.” He said then kissed me. He was a good kisser and I enjoyed kissing him but after James and I kissed, it wasn’t the same. I missed it, I guess.
