Oh shit
I sat on the hood with Party Poison holding his hand. Soon it will be sunset. I saw something in the distance.
“What’s that?” I said pointing
Party looked, he squinted to see.
“What the?” he said getting up quickly
He still couldn’t see. He grabbed my hand and we ran to the building. We ran inside.
“What’s going on?” Fun Ghoul asked sitting at a table
“Something’s coming, get your gun” Party said
Kobra and Fun grabbed their guns sitting on the counter. Party handed me my gun. We waited inside the restaurant. Quietly we waited against the wall near the door. The figure came in. Party grabbed them and slammed them against the wall with his gun pointed at their helmet they had on.
“Hey hey hey!” the person shouted
“Party! It’s Show Pony!” Fun Ghoul shouted
“Let him go” Kobra said
Party let him go.
“Sorry about that” Party laughed patting Show Pony’s shoulder
“You know how I feel about guns” Show Pony said taking of his helmet, he had longish black hair
“Then maybe you shouldn’t be working for Dr. Death” Party said
“Oh hardy har har” Show Pony said
“So what brings you here?” Party said
“Well, I brought plans and stuff for you guys, Jet Star got enough reinforcements for tonight”
“That’s great” Kobra said
“Yeah but that’s the good news”
“There’s bad news?” Kobra asked
Show Pony nodded “The garage got attacked” he said
I saw Party’s face. It was filled with pain.
“Is Grace ok?!” Party said almost yelling
“She got away. She’s safe with Dr.Death, but………..she was the only one that got away” Show Pony said
Party’s face was calm now. I squeezed his hand.
“They were looking for her” Show Pony pointed at me
They all looked at me. Party picked me up and set me on the counter.
“What do they want from you!?” Party said trying not to yell
“I --- I can’t---
“Tell me!” Party said gripping my shoulders “For the love of god tell me”
“I know how to take over Battery City” I said
“Well tell me how” Party said
“There’s a code I know, we can access Battery Cities mainframe and gain access and control of Korse’s weapons, everything…………..” I said
“That’s it?” Party said
“That can’t be just it, they wouldn’t try to kill her because she knows how to get to their weapons, there is something else, there’s something Korse is trying to hide” Fun Ghoul said
“Is that all you know?” Party said
“I swear on my heart” I said
“Ok, we’re going to figure this out ok?” Party said kissing my forehead
I nodded
“Ok, we know how to gain access to almost everything Korse has created, we can’t fail to do that tonight” Party said
Everyone nodded. Party stormed out. I followed. I grabbed his hand.
“Don’t be mad with me please?” I said, He stopped.
“I’m not mad at you silly, I’m just……………”
“Worried?”
“Yeah, I’m tired, tired of running. Grace got attacked, she is scared to death I know she is, and now I have someone else to protect” he looked at me
I smiled, and he smiled back.
“We can do this” I said resting my head on his shoulder from behind. I rubbed his arms with my thumbs.
He turned around and held me. He kissed me tenderly then held me to his chest.

I looked out the window. Party and Liz were having a moment. I’m happy for him. He hasn’t smiled that much in a long time.
“Who’s she?” Show Pony asked looking out the window
“Her name is Liz, Korse is after her” I answered
“How old is she?” he asked. That was kinda an odd question
“I think she’s like twenty three” Fun ghoul answered
“Hmmm, that’s………..odd” Show Pony said pondering
“How is that odd?” I asked turning to him
“Just a story someone told me, I don’t think it’s true or not”
“What story?” I pressed
“Well………….. I heard from someone who escaped from Battery City, he said that Korse was searching for his daughter that was taken from him a long time ago”
“Korse had a kid?” I asked
“I don’t know, the man that told me was half loony out of his mind”
“Do you know him?!” I asked
“Korse or the man that told me?”
“The man that told you!”
“He died shortly after” Show Pony said defensively
