Painful Love

Love is a treasure, but it also gives you pain.
Some people receive it's pleasure, while others get no gain.
Yet, we still strive for a happy ending- an ending we cannot see.
The rules of love keep bending, and we abuse it for our greed.
Hungry monsters we are- to want so much of one thing.
No one can express the pain, that love always brings.
