I woke up the next morning. I look at my suitcase and see it not even packed properly. I fold the clothes and place them in carefully. I pack 2 pairs of shoes and I get a couple spare outfits. I never knew what it would be like in Essex. The weather is so unpredictable over in England. I pack a couple of coats and then some toiletries and close my case. I wheel it out the the living room and put it near the door ready for me to take it later that day. I looked at my phone. 10:30 AM. It was going to be at least another 4 and a half hours until Melissa got home and we left for the airport. I still hadn’t figured out how we were going to get there. I didn’t want to drive and leave my car there so I might just call for a cab to take us. Just as I finish putting the case at the door my phone buzzed. It was Alex.
“I’m going to miss you, you know that?<3” I smiled at the text.
“I’m going to miss you too,<3”
“What time are you leaving?<3”
“About 3ish later<3”
“Do you want to do something for a couple of hours? I got time to kill<3”
“I’d like that<3”
“What do you want to do?<3”
“Come over to mine? I mean, if you want to, if not we can go somewhere else, I don’t mind<3”
“No,No, I’d like that. Means it’s just me and you. No cameras, No nothing<3” I looked at the text. No cameras. I got to be so careful with our relationship.
“Alrighty<3”
“I’ll be over in about 10?<3”
“Okay, don’t expect me to look presentable<3”
“Babe, I have seen you in just a t-shirt I don’t think anything will turn me off<3”

“Alright<3” I put my phone onto the side. I walk into my room and change into a pair of shorts I haven’t packed and a t-shirt. I re-do my messy bun and clean up the apartment a little. There was a knock at the door. I scurry over to the door. I open it and Alex was standing there in a pair of skinny jeans and a glamour kills top.
“Oh, I haven’t seen this top before” I say as I laugh.
“Hey” He says as he bends down to kiss me. I kiss him back and open the door for him to walk in. Just as he walks in Tom, from the coffee shop was standing there. He was my friend and he lived on the same floor as me. I smile and wave at him. He smiles back.
“Boyfriend?” He asks as he points to Alex.
“Yup, Aren’t I a lucky girl?” I say as I giggle and Alex wraps his arms around my waist.
“Your going out with the band member you have crushed on for however long I have known you?” Tom asks as he smiles again.
“Okay, so, yeah. Maybe” I say.
“You are a lucky girl. I gotta get down to work, see you when you get back” He says and waves goodbye. He proceeds down the stairs. I close the door.
“Who was that?” Alex asks.
“Tom, He works in the coffee shop”
“Oh, cool”
“He’s like my only friend out here”
“Not anymore” He smiles and pulls me closer.
ALEX P.O.V
I held Maddison for a moment. When I looked at her she made me loose my breath. I kiss her softly once more. She sat down on her couch and I sat down next to her. She called Melissa to ask when she was coming home and she said soon. She told her I was here. I smile when she said my name.
“She’s coming home soon” Maddison says as she leans into me. I wrap my arm around her. Soon Melissa was home. She hugged me as she walked in then ran quickly to her room. I look at Maddison who was stood up behind me.
“I have to go. I have studio time” I say as she walks closer. She wraps her arms around me and pulls me close for a hug.
“I’m going to miss you Alex” She lays her head on my chest.
“I’m going to miss you too. I-I think I’m falling in love Madds” She looks up at me.
“Me too, I know it hasn’t been that long, but I am falling in love with you Alex Gaskarth” This girl just admitted she was falling in love with me and she’s going half way across the world in how ever long.
“Tell me when you get there, okay?” She nods at me. I kiss her forehead and walk out the door. That was probably the hardest thing to do. Tell a girl that I’m falling for her and walk out knowing she won’t even be in the same continent as me.I call Jack. He seemed ratty. I told him I was going to pick him up in 5. When he got in the car he seemed upset.
“Is it wrong that I already miss her” I looked at him

“Fuck” We were both stuck. We both liked this girls that had only just walked into our lives. I think about the fact I would have to wait to hear her voice and when I did hear it I would be so happy I would get to hear it again. I drive and we finally get to the studio. “On a flight to Essex” Jack says as he looks at the floor. He really fucking missed her and I missed my perfect girl too but I had to be strong for me and Jack.

“So have you Alex, it’s obvious. Don’t try and hide it. We’ve known you for ages” I laugh and nod.
“I know I have. Didn’t say I haven’t”Zack and Rian look at me. Not only did I admit to her that I was falling for her, I admitted it to my band memebers as well.
“well, we have about 10 minutes until the producer gets here. Should we just go in and wait?” Rian asks. We all nod our heads and walk in. We sit on the couches they had in the reception. I take out my phone and check twitter. So many people were asking who the girl was that I was kissing. That’s it. I didn’t want the questions. If I was going to be falling for her everyone else could aswell. I preas new tweet and start to type. “And for those who are asking who the girl is that I was kissing. It’s my girlfriend. She is amazing and she is beautiful. I shouldn’t of lied in the interview but I’m tell the truth now. As the amazing fans you are I want you to accept her. Offical to the whole world. Exactly what I wanted. I know she did too.
MADDISON’S P.O.V
When we got to Essex me and Melissa had to rush to the train station. As we walked out the terminal Melissa was stopped by someone
“Ugh, you’re Jack’s girlfriend?” I have to laugh.
“Yes, I am” Melissa pulls out her phone and calls someone. I didn’t really hear the conversation. I walked over to buy a ticket to get on the train. I didn’t have an oyster or anything. After I bought it Melissa was still on the phone. From hat I could make out it was Jack. We walked through the barriers and I swiped my card. Melissa followed with her oyster. We walked onto the train. I sat down and Melissa sat in front of me. Melissa looks at me. When I looked up she was passing me the phone.
“Alex” She mouthed to me. I nod. I take the phone and put it to my ear.
“Maddy! You said you was going to call me when you got there”
“Alex, I was just about to. I just got on the train, been a bit hectic since”
“Okay, just glad your safe!”
“I’m fine, I miss you…” I say hoping he would say something back.
“I miss you too. I miss you loads Madds,”
“Just two days, I’m sure you can live with that”
“I’ll try, I’ve been forever spending time with you the past week, how the fuck am I gonna spend the next two days without talking to you?” There he goes again. Making my heart skip a beat. The overhead speakers told us we were about to arrive in Brentwood so I knew I had to say goodbye.
“I have to go now, get off the train”
“Okay, Maddison…”
“Yeah?”
“I-I love you” Oh my god. He loves me. I then stop and think. I did too.

“I will” I pass back to Melissa and she finishes off talking to Jack
When we got out the train station Melissa’s parents greeted us. They told me my Mum and Dad were going to pop round later. That would be the first time I would get to see my parents for ages. I could tell her about Alex. They drove to Melissa’s school. I remembered having my first two or three years of school there. If I never moved this is where I would be right now. Melissa undid her seat belt. I grab her hand.
“I’m here for you, you know that?”
“Thanks Maddy” She says as she pulls me into a hug.
“Your welcome Melissa” I rub her back and we all get out the car.
Melissa walks up to the reception. She sorts out whatever she needs to then walks back to us. Her phone rings. It was Jack.
“Hey, It’s Maddy, she’s just opening the results”
“Okay, thanks Maddy,” He stays on the line. Melissa looks like she is about to cry. She grabs the phone and runs outside. When we go outside she was crying. I lean on her shoulder trying to comfort her. She then talks about leaving Essex and going back straight away.
“I want to stay” I said softly. It was meant to be in my mind but it came out.
“Stay, I’ll get Jack to book me a flight. I’ll meet you back out there” I looked at her as she booked it. I got off her.
“Melissa, I don’t want to be left here on my own. I want to be with you. Let me see my parents for a couple of hours then we’ll go back together” She looks at me. “Please?” I ask her.
“I’m going back Maddison, I can’t stand being here. Not after this” She hugs me. Her mum and dad drop her tot he train station. She hugs me.
“Text me, Okay?” I ask her
“I will” She hugs me tightly. Melissa’s parents drop me off to my old house. My parents gave it to my aunt when we moved out to Baltimore but they moved back in with her when they moved back to Essex. I say thank you to Melissa’s parents and knock on the door. My mum answers. She hugs me tightly.
“God, I missed you Maddison!” She helps me with my stuff. My dad comes scurrying in. He hugs me tight as well.
“Hi you guys” They put my stuff in the hall and sit me at the table in the kitchen.
“Maddison, we need you to stay for a couple of days” My mother says as they both look at me.
“Your aunt, she’s ill again, This time she isn’t going to make it Sweet” My father says as he hold onto my mother. I look at my parents. My aunt was going to die and this was going to be the last time I could see her.
“How long?” I gulp.
“3-6 months” My mother says as she starts to cry. I get up and hug her. My mum was going to loose her sister. I was going to loose my aunt. “Stay for two days Maddison, please. Just to say goodbye” I nod at her. I couldn’t bear to see her like this and my father couldn’t handle it.
“Mum, Dad, I have something to tell you on a happier note” My mum and dad look at me.
“Go on then” My dad says. I sit back down.
“I have a boyfriend. Alex” My mum smiles at me. She was happy for me and so was my father.
“Alex who?”
“Gaskarth” This what the bit I was scared about. My mother knew who he was. She couldn’t not as my walls were pasted in All Time Low.
“Alex as in All Time Low…”
“Yes”
“Maddison, He is what, 5, 6 years older than you?”
“Mum, I’m an adult. I’m 18”
“And he’s 24, and what makes things worst is that he is a rock star! He is bad news Maddison”
“I love him Mum!” I put my hand over my mouth. My mother looks at me. “And he loves me too” I say as I slowly put my hand down next to my waist
“And how do you know?” My mum seems angry with me
“He told me” I look to the floor.

“Trust me mum, please, just trust me. If I get hurt then you can say I told you so”
“Fine, I’ll trust you. Make sure you don’t get hurt” She gets up and stands next to me. She then pulls me into a hug.
“I have to talk to Melissa. She’s on a flight back to Baltimore. I need to talk to her to tell her when I’m going back” My mum lets go. I walk up to my old room. It was still pink. It had loads of pictures of Me and Melissa from our childhood. It also had early pictures of All Time Low when I started to like them. There was framed pictures with “best friends” on the photo frames and pictures of me and Melissa at younger ages than the ones on my walls. I put my case onto the bed. I looked around the room. I text melissa.
“I’m staying for a couple of days, I need to tell you why <3” I await a reply. 2 minutes later my phone buzzes
“Call me. I’m sitting in the airport<3” I call her. I start to shake.
“Maddy…”
“Melissa!” I break down
“What’s wrong?”
“My aunt..”
“What, Maddy, what is it?”
“She’s got 3-6 months to live”
“Maddy, I’m so sorry! Take the time you need”
“I’ll be back in two days max. I might leave tomorrow to be honest”
“You sure?”
“Yeah, they already disapprove of Alex. The said he’s too old for me and cause he’s a rock star they don’t like him”
“They’ll take time, listen, I have to board the plane now, I’ll talk to you when I get back”
“Have a safe flight”
“I will, speak later” And with that she is gone. Next to call is Alex. I ring. I didn’t know exactly what time it was over there but I called anyway. He answered.
“Hello?”
“I didn’t wake you up or anything did I?”
“No, course not sweet, what’s up?”
“I’m staying in Essex for a couple of days. My aunt, she’s dying. 3-6 months. I want to say a proper goodbye”
“Maddy, I hope your okay! I would fly over, but the record”
“No, It’s fine. I’ll be back before you know it. I’m going to book a flight for tomorrow. I want to be back there, I can’t stand it over here. No one is here but my parents”
“Say your proper goodbye and the next thing you know you’ll be at Baltimore airport in my arms. I’m going to pick you up when you land. No buts, No excuses. I’m picking you up”
“And you thought I would say no to that? The one thing I want is to be in your arms. I’m such a dork. I have only been away from you for what, a day and I miss you”
“It’s called love, Maddy, Something you don’t ask for,you just fall into. Like we did”
“I told my mum about you, She didn’t like the idea but though”
“Why?”
“Because your older than me”
“Oh, Right. Did you tell her that you love me…” He seems scared
“Yeah, I did, I hope you don’t mind, She deserves to know”

“What?” I ask, I was confused.
“Just check twitter in a second. I gotta go. I need my sleep, recording and stuff tomorrow!

“I love you too” I hang up and lay on bed. I look up to the ceiling. I had to book a flight to get out of Essex for tomorrow after I said my goodbyes to my aunt. I text Melissa.
“Getting on a flight tomorrow <3” I send it and then I put my phone on the side. I go downstairs.
“Hey, Hunny, About earlier, I’m pleased for you. I was just scared I’m going to loose my little girl. Boys like that can’t be trusted sometimes”
“It’s fine Mum. Can you book me a flight to go back for tomorrow please? Late afternoon-ish? I’m going to get picked up by Alex when I get there. I also gotta get back for work and stuff. I have to do an interview in a few days”
“Sure hunny” My mum gets the house phone and starts to call the airline. I smile and go to see my aunt in the living room.
“Hey Auntie Lydia” I sat down next to her. She may of hand 3-6 months but she looked weak.
“Maddison! Ah you’re back”
“Only for today, I’m going home tomorrow,I need to go home to see my boyfriend and do some work”
“Boyfriend? Ah, who’s this then”
“His name is Alex. He’s really nice. You’d like him”
“I’m sure I would. As long as he is treating you right, that’s all that counts” I hug her. I loved my aunt. I have been close to her from a young age. She was always around the house and didn’t forget any birthdays or Christmases. She was an amazing women. I made a promise to myself the I would get her to meet Alex before she was gone. All I wanted to do was make sure she was happy. Soon it was the evening. I have been speaking to my mother, father an aunt all night. I say good night to them and go up to my room. I look to my phone. No missed calls. A text from Alex and Melissa. I open Melissa’s text. She simple text back “Okay, see you when you get back, We’ll talk properly then<3” I then open Alex’s. “Tomorrow, I’m going to be at that airport waiting for you, I can’t wait to see you baby, I miss you so much! I love you, Maddy<3<3” I smile at his texts. I text back.
“I love you too, Alex.Thanks for everything. I can’t wait to see you too! See you tomorrow<3<3” I change for bed. I slide into the small bed that I used to sleep in and try to go to sleep. One sleep and I could be on a plane going to see my boyfriend. My rock star boyfriend. I fall asleep and the next thing I knew I was awake the next morning. It was 11 in the morning. My mum told me I had to be at the airport by one. It would take me at least an hour to get ready. I had to look my best because Alex was meeting me at the other end. I couldn’t wait to see him. I got out my bed and snuk into the shower. I stood for around 15 minutes in there just thinking. When I got out my mum had ironed my clothes for me like she used to. They were laid on my bed ready for me to change into. I let down my hair and allowed it to dry into it’s curls. I slip of my towel and put on underwear. I slip on my clothes. I pack up everything that I needed and then I looked around my old room. I pick up the framed pictures of me, Melissa and my family and put them into the suitcase along wit my other possessions. I then zip it up and look at the time on my phone. 12. I went downstairs. My mum, dad and aunt were all dressed and ready to go out the door.
“Ready?”
“Yeah, I am” my dad takes my suitcase and walks it out to the car. It took around half an hour to get to where we wanted to go. They all get out the car. My mum comes up to me first. She hugs me and tells me to take care. The last thing she said was that she loves me. I tell her I love her to and I will try to come back in a few months. My dad then hugs me tight. He tells me he loves me too and I tell him the same thing i said to my mother. Next was my aunt. I hugged her tighter than ever. This may be the last time I could see her.

“Bye, Auntie Lydia” I hug her. I nearly start to cry but hold it as I walked in to the airport. About an hour later I was on a plane ride home. I text Alex before the plane took off. I told him I was just leaving now. In 8/9 hours I would see him. Alex. I smile as I think of him. For the first 3 hours I was sleeping. When I woke up no one was sitting next to me. I was kind of happy that I didn’t have anyone sitting next to me. It means I could sit in peace and be calm. I get out my phone and my earphones. I plug them in and put the earphones in my ear. I put shuffle on my iPod. The first song that came on was Break you little heart by All Time Low. It made me miss him even more than I already did. I looked to my side. A pair of girls were holding a magazine with All Time Low on it. They looked so annoyed.I took one earphone out and turned the music down.
“Oh, My, God. They all have girlfriends apart from Zack. What is wrong with all this? Those girls must be so lucky!” One says. I start to smile. I was lucky.
“I know, But I bet Jack and Alex’s girlfriends are just whores. I mean, come on. It’s their type isn’t it…” My smile turned into an angry frown. I wanted to say something. I couldn’t.
“Well, Jack’s girlfriend is really pretty but I haven’t seen Alex’s. She’s probably pretty. She seems really nice though. He said he is really happy. They’re happy, so we should just leave it” That girl seemed like she was mature. The other one had a face like she just sucked on a lemon.I couldn’t help but say something to both of them. To thank one for being so mature.
“Sorry, I couldn’t help but over hear you talking about Jack and Alex”

“Alex, I was just about to. I just got on the train, been a bit hectic since”
“Okay, just glad your safe!”
“I’m fine, I miss you…” I say hoping he would say something back.
“I miss you too. I miss you loads Madds,”
“Just two days, I’m sure you can live with that”
“I’ll try, I’ve been forever spending time with you the past week, how the fuck am I gonna spend the next two days without talking to you?” There he goes again. Making my heart skip a beat. The overhead speakers told us we were about to arrive in Brentwood so I knew I had to say goodbye.
“I have to go now, get off the train”
“Okay, Maddison…”
“Yeah?”
“I-I love you” Oh my god. He loves me. I then stop and think. I did too.
“I love you too, Alex”
“Call me when you can”
“I will” I pass back to Melissa and she finishes off talking to Jack
When we got out the train station Melissa’s parents greeted us. They told me my Mum and Dad were going to pop round later. That would be the first time I would get to see my parents for ages. I could tell her about Alex. They drove to Melissa’s school. I remembered having my first two or three years of school there. If I never moved this is where I would be right now. Melissa undid her seat belt. I grab her hand.
“I’m here for you, you know that?”
“Thanks Maddy” She says as she pulls me into a hug.
“Your welcome Melissa” I rub her back and we all get out the car.
Melissa walks up to the reception. She sorts out whatever she needs to then walks back to us. Her phone rings. It was Jack.
“Hey, It’s Maddy, she’s just opening the results”
“Okay, thanks Maddy,” He stays on the line. Melissa looks like she is about to cry. She grabs the phone and runs outside. When we go outside she was crying. I lean on her shoulder trying to comfort her. She then talks about leaving Essex and going back straight away.
“I want to stay” I said softly. It was meant to be in my mind but it came out.
“Stay, I’ll get Jack to book me a flight. I’ll meet you back out there” I looked at her as she booked it. I got off her.
“Melissa, I don’t want to be left here on my own. I want to be with you. Let me see my parents for a couple of hours then we’ll go back together” She looks at me. “Please?” I ask her.
“I’m going back Maddison, I can’t stand being here. Not after this” She hugs me. Her mum and dad drop her tot he train station. She hugs me.
“Text me, Okay?” I ask her
“I will” She hugs me tightly. Melissa’s parents drop me off to my old house. My parents gave it to my aunt when we moved out to Baltimore but they moved back in with her when they moved back to Essex. I say thank you to Melissa’s parents and knock on the door. My mum answers. She hugs me tightly.
“God, I missed you Maddison!” She helps me with my stuff. My dad comes scurrying in. He hugs me tight as well.
“Hi you guys” They put my stuff in the hall and sit me at the table in the kitchen.
“Maddison, we need you to stay for a couple of days” My mother says as they both look at me.
“Your aunt, she’s ill again, This time she isn’t going to make it Sweet” My father says as he hold onto my mother. I look at my parents. My aunt was going to die and this was going to be the last time I could see her.
“How long?” I gulp.
“3-6 months” My mother says as she starts to cry. I get up and hug her. My mum was going to loose her sister. I was going to loose my aunt. “Stay for two days Maddison, please. Just to say goodbye” I nod at her. I couldn’t bear to see her like this and my father couldn’t handle it.
“Mum, Dad, I have something to tell you on a happier note” My mum and dad look at me.
“Go on then” My dad says. I sit back down.
“I have a boyfriend. Alex” My mum smiles at me. She was happy for me and so was my father.
“Alex who?”
“Gaskarth” This what the bit I was scared about. My mother knew who he was. She couldn’t not as my walls were pasted in All Time Low.
“Alex as in All Time Low…”
“Yes”
“Maddison, He is what, 5, 6 years older than you?”
“Mum, I’m an adult. I’m 18”
“And he’s 24, and what makes things worst is that he is a rock star! He is bad news Maddison”
“I love him Mum!” I put my hand over my mouth. My mother looks at me. “And he loves me too” I say as I slowly put my hand down next to my waist
“And how do you know?” My mum seems angry with me
“He told me” I look to the floor.
“Wow, he told you. Big woop. Doesn’t mean anything until he shows he loves you”
“Trust me mum, please, just trust me. If I get hurt then you can say I told you so”
“Fine, I’ll trust you. Make sure you don’t get hurt” She gets up and stands next to me. She then pulls me into a hug.
“I have to talk to Melissa. She’s on a flight back to Baltimore. I need to talk to her to tell her when I’m going back” My mum lets go. I walk up to my old room. It was still pink. It had loads of pictures of Me and Melissa from our childhood. It also had early pictures of All Time Low when I started to like them. There was framed pictures with “best friends” on the photo frames and pictures of me and Melissa at younger ages than the ones on my walls. I put my case onto the bed. I looked around the room. I text melissa.
“I’m staying for a couple of days, I need to tell you why <3” I await a reply. 2 minutes later my phone buzzes
“Call me. I’m sitting in the airport<3” I call her. I start to shake.
“Maddy…”
“Melissa!” I break down
“What’s wrong?”
“My aunt..”
“What, Maddy, what is it?”
“She’s got 3-6 months to live”
“Maddy, I’m so sorry! Take the time you need”
“I’ll be back in two days max. I might leave tomorrow to be honest”
“You sure?”
“Yeah, they already disapprove of Alex. The said he’s too old for me and cause he’s a rock star they don’t like him”
“They’ll take time, listen, I have to board the plane now, I’ll talk to you when I get back”
“Have a safe flight”
“I will, speak later” And with that she is gone. Next to call is Alex. I ring. I didn’t know exactly what time it was over there but I called anyway. He answered.
“Hello?”
“I didn’t wake you up or anything did I?”
“No, course not sweet, what’s up?”
“I’m staying in Essex for a couple of days. My aunt, she’s dying. 3-6 months. I want to say a proper goodbye”
“Maddy, I hope your okay! I would fly over, but the record”
“No, It’s fine. I’ll be back before you know it. I’m going to book a flight for tomorrow. I want to be back there, I can’t stand it over here. No one is here but my parents”
“Say your proper goodbye and the next thing you know you’ll be at Baltimore airport in my arms. I’m going to pick you up when you land. No buts, No excuses. I’m picking you up”
“And you thought I would say no to that? The one thing I want is to be in your arms. I’m such a dork. I have only been away from you for what, a day and I miss you”
“It’s called love, Maddy, Something you don’t ask for,you just fall into. Like we did”
“I told my mum about you, She didn’t like the idea but though”
“Why?”
“Because your older than me”
“Oh, Right. Did you tell her that you love me…” He seems scared
“Yeah, I did, I hope you don’t mind, She deserves to know”
“Maddy, It’s cool! I kinda told the whole world I love you anyway”
“What?” I ask, I was confused.
“Just check twitter in a second. I gotta go. I need my sleep, recording and stuff tomorrow!
“Have a good sleep”
“I will try to”
“Good”
“I love you…” He waits for a reply
“I love you too” I hang up and lay on bed. I look up to the ceiling. I had to book a flight to get out of Essex for tomorrow after I said my goodbyes to my aunt. I text Melissa.
“Getting on a flight tomorrow <3” I send it and then I put my phone on the side. I go downstairs.
“Hey, Hunny, About earlier, I’m pleased for you. I was just scared I’m going to loose my little girl. Boys like that can’t be trusted sometimes”
“It’s fine Mum. Can you book me a flight to go back for tomorrow please? Late afternoon-ish? I’m going to get picked up by Alex when I get there. I also gotta get back for work and stuff. I have to do an interview in a few days”
“Sure hunny” My mum gets the house phone and starts to call the airline. I smile and go to see my aunt in the living room.
“Hey Auntie Lydia” I sat down next to her. She may of hand 3-6 months but she looked weak.
“Maddison! Ah you’re back”
“Only for today, I’m going home tomorrow,I need to go home to see my boyfriend and do some work”
“Boyfriend? Ah, who’s this then”
“His name is Alex. He’s really nice. You’d like him”
“I’m sure I would. As long as he is treating you right, that’s all that counts” I hug her. I loved my aunt. I have been close to her from a young age. She was always around the house and didn’t forget any birthdays or Christmases. She was an amazing women. I made a promise to myself the I would get her to meet Alex before she was gone. All I wanted to do was make sure she was happy. Soon it was the evening. I have been speaking to my mother, father an aunt all night. I say good night to them and go up to my room. I look to my phone. No missed calls. A text from Alex and Melissa. I open Melissa’s text. She simple text back “Okay, see you when you get back, We’ll talk properly then<3” I then open Alex’s. “Tomorrow, I’m going to be at that airport waiting for you, I can’t wait to see you baby, I miss you so much! I love you, Maddy<3<3” I smile at his texts. I text back.
“I love you too, Alex.Thanks for everything. I can’t wait to see you too! See you tomorrow<3<3” I change for bed. I slide into the small bed that I used to sleep in and try to go to sleep. One sleep and I could be on a plane going to see my boyfriend. My rock star boyfriend. I fall asleep and the next thing I knew I was awake the next morning. It was 11 in the morning. My mum told me I had to be at the airport by one. It would take me at least an hour to get ready. I had to look my best because Alex was meeting me at the other end. I couldn’t wait to see him. I got out my bed and snuk into the shower. I stood for around 15 minutes in there just thinking. When I got out my mum had ironed my clothes for me like she used to. They were laid on my bed ready for me to change into. I let down my hair and allowed it to dry into it’s curls. I slip of my towel and put on underwear. I slip on my clothes. I pack up everything that I needed and then I looked around my old room. I pick up the framed pictures of me, Melissa and my family and put them into the suitcase along wit my other possessions. I then zip it up and look at the time on my phone. 12. I went downstairs. My mum, dad and aunt were all dressed and ready to go out the door.
“Ready?”
“Yeah, I am” my dad takes my suitcase and walks it out to the car. It took around half an hour to get to where we wanted to go. They all get out the car. My mum comes up to me first. She hugs me and tells me to take care. The last thing she said was that she loves me. I tell her I love her to and I will try to come back in a few months. My dad then hugs me tight. He tells me he loves me too and I tell him the same thing i said to my mother. Next was my aunt. I hugged her tighter than ever. This may be the last time I could see her.
“I love you Maddison!”
“I love you too”
“Bye, Maddison”
“Bye, Auntie Lydia” I hug her. I nearly start to cry but hold it as I walked in to the airport. About an hour later I was on a plane ride home. I text Alex before the plane took off. I told him I was just leaving now. In 8/9 hours I would see him. Alex. I smile as I think of him. For the first 3 hours I was sleeping. When I woke up no one was sitting next to me. I was kind of happy that I didn’t have anyone sitting next to me. It means I could sit in peace and be calm. I get out my phone and my earphones. I plug them in and put the earphones in my ear. I put shuffle on my iPod. The first song that came on was Break you little heart by All Time Low. It made me miss him even more than I already did. I looked to my side. A pair of girls were holding a magazine with All Time Low on it. They looked so annoyed.I took one earphone out and turned the music down.
“Oh, My, God. They all have girlfriends apart from Zack. What is wrong with all this? Those girls must be so lucky!” One says. I start to smile. I was lucky.
“I know, But I bet Jack and Alex’s girlfriends are just whores. I mean, come on. It’s their type isn’t it…” My smile turned into an angry frown. I wanted to say something. I couldn’t.
“Well, Jack’s girlfriend is really pretty but I haven’t seen Alex’s. She’s probably pretty. She seems really nice though. He said he is really happy. They’re happy, so we should just leave it” That girl seemed like she was mature. The other one had a face like she just sucked on a lemon.I couldn’t help but say something to both of them. To thank one for being so mature.
“Sorry, I couldn’t help but over hear you talking about Jack and Alex”
“Yeah…” The nice one said
“Jack’s girlfriend is really pretty. I would know” I smile
“How would you know?” The twatish one said
“She’s my best friend” They both look at me.
“But wait, Alex tweeted yesterday he was dating Jack’s girlfriend’s best friend. I have the tweet right here” The nice one got out her phone and showed me it. It said “For those who are asking. You can’t see a picture of her yet, she’s in Essex at the moment. When she gets back I will, I promise. More info bout her, She’s Jack’s girlfriends best friend” I smile as I see it. The girl told me to wait because there was another tweet. She asked me what my name was.
“Maddison…” I say. She then looks at me then shows me the other tweet. “Her name is Maddison,Maddy for short. You guys will love her. Please respect her guys” She then puts her phone away.
“Your Alex’s girlfriend…” She says as she smiles at me.
“Yeah, Didn’t want to make a massive deal out of it. Guess you guys know now”
“Your so lucky! I’m Jenn by the way..” The nice one said. Obviously Jenn.
“I’m Sarah, I didn’t mean to call you and your friend a whore” Atleast she said sorry.
“It’s fine. Really, Just heard you talking and I just wanted to say something”
“You have an English accent… thought you were from America, I just assumed” Jenn asked
“I moved from Essex when I was 14” I smiled. I was talking to the girls for another 3 hours. They then both fall asleep. For the rest of the journey I just read my book. We were then about to land. I put all my stuff in my bag and get ready to land. I walked with the girls to go get my suitcase and go through customs.
