Never Gonna Let You Go

It’s been three days since I broke up with Charlie and it’s also the day before tour. I’ve been moping around and been quiet all week. I was never good with dealing with break ups. The guys have been extremely supportive and have been there for me this whole time. They’ve been saying all the right things but I was still really upset. I couldn’t believe he would cheat on me.

Another thing that’s been going through my mind was that when I woke up the morning after the club I woke up to me and Jack cuddling. I remembered asking him not to leave that night. I couldn’t stop thinking about that. The things he was saying and the way I felt in his arms kept replaying in my head.

Melanie and Cass were about to come over for a girl’s night, which is exactly what I needed. Cass and her band were going to be on tour with All Time Low so she came up early a couple days ago and has been staying with Rian. And Zack was going to be out with the boys tonight so I had the apartment to myself.

I got all the stuff for tonight out; wine, movies, candy and popcorn. When I heard someone knock at my door I got up and ran to open it, it was Cass.

‘Cassadeeeee! I’ve missed you so much!” I gave her the tightest hug.

“Aw girl I’ve missed you too. I am so sorry about what happened.” She said with sweetness in her voice.

“Ugh it doesn’t even matter anymore. Were going on tour tomorrow so that will help me get my mind off of him. I want a drama free tour” I said with hope.

Right after I said that Mel came barging in almost trampling me with her hug. “I swear to god Nicole, if I ever see that douche bag on the street I will kick his ass” I could tell she was getting angrier as she said it. But I had to laugh at her anger.

“Alright Mel, calm down” I said. We all started gossiping and talking about the clothes we brought on tour, and then we put in The Notebook. Ugh man I loved this movie.

Then we started stalking about the boys. “So how are you and Rian” Mel said to Cass.
“Were great, we always have the best times together and I really, really like him” she said and I could tell just talking about him made her happy.

“Aw you guys really are the cutest” I said as I made a heart with my hands being sarcastic even though she knew I was kidding.

“What about you Melanie, break any guys hearts recently?” Cass asked and she laughed.

“None that are up to my expectation. You know me, I need a man that can make me laugh and act like an asshole with me” Mel has always been one to like the guys that are funny, can act like an idiot, yet still have a serious side.

“Well you doo know Alex and Lisa just broke up. I sense something will happen between you guys “ I said.

She rolled her eyes at me “Yeah right, Nicole. You know I would never hook up with him. He’s a friend and nothing more. Plus he doesn’t even like me like that” I could tell she was lying. She’s like him since the first day she met him.

“Mhmm, I’m sure. But I guess we’ll see” I trailed off as my favorite part of The Notebook was on. When Allie realizes that Duke is Noah and remembers that he’s her husband. This part always made me tear up; I loved that people could love each other that much.

A few bottles of wine later we were drunk and exhausted. Zack came home anyways so the girls left since we had to get up at 8 am tomorrow for bus call. I said “Bye” to the girls and headed to my room. I started taking my clothes off so I could put my pj’s on. I got into bed and started dreaming off into sleep.

I couldn’t wait for tour to start to get out of here.
