Never Gonna Let You Go

When I got home it was around 6. I was exhausted from work but I had to get pumped because I was going out with the boys tonight! I took my shoes off and plopped myself onto the couch and waited for Zack to get home. Me and Zack have been living together for the past year because we are pretty much the same person except I’m just more obnoxious.

About 20 minutes later I hear the door open. "I’m hooooome" Zack shouted and came into the living room.

"Hey heyy. So you know how Alex has been going through all this shit lately? Well we decided to go to Club 49 tonight. Just me, you and the boys"

His eyes widened with excitement "You fucking kidding me? YES! Just like old times" he said with excitement. He might be quiet at times but he loves to go out and party.

"haha yeah I know it'll be good for us just to go out ya know? Everybody will be here at 9 so we better go get ready" We both went to out rooms and started getting ready.

I haven’t dressed up for a long time. I would go out to clubs and bars and look nice but I didn't have anybody to impress anymore, I had a boyfriend so I wouldn't put time into my outfits. But tonight was different. We all needed to have a good night so I decided to get all glammed up and try my hardest to look good. I picked a cream and black dress that I recently got paired with a leather jacket, cream heals, and my Chanel bag that I was in love with. I looked in the mirror and was impressed.

Now I had to do my hair and makeup. My hair was already straight so I decided to curl it. My hair is very thick so it took a while to get it perfect but when I was done it looked soo good. I surprised myself that if I took time I really can do my hair. For my makeup I just did my eyes. My outfit and hair was a lot so I didn't want to over do it with the makeup. Once I was done getting ready it was 840. Everybody was going to be here soon so I made my way out into the living room.

Zack was sitting there watching MTV and we just started talking about our day. Zack was in a meeting with Kill Brand discussing his new line coming out. I was so proud of him for this. He loved doing it and his fans loved the line. I was probably his biggest fan for this collaboration with Kill Brand.

About 15 minutes late we hear a knock at the door. I almost fall off the couch because Zack told me to get the door and pushed me off. When I opened the door in came Alex yelling, “Were here bitches! And we come bearing gifts!” He came with Rian since they live together.

“Hey guys you ready for tonight,” I said excited that they were here and that they brought wine and vodka.

“Hell fucking yeah. I know Jack is definitely excited, all he was doing was talking about today was how the original 5 were going out tonight” Rian said.

As we waited for Jack we started taking shots and pre gamming so we didn’t have to spend a million dollars at the bar in the club. Of course Jack was late, he was never on time for everything.

20 minutes later and without a knock on the door came Jack shouting in “WHO’S READY TO GET SHIT FACED TONIGHT MOTHER FUCKERS.” I swear this kid had so much energy and every time I saw him he put a smile on my face.

“Haha hey jacko!” I said. He came over and gave me a bear hug saying, “I’ve missed you Nikki.”

“Jack what did I say about calling me that? And I’ve missed you too even though I just saw you yesterday and talked to you this morning” I said as I play punched him in the arm. All of a sudden he picked me up and tossed me on my couch tickling me.

“Jack, ja-jack stop! I-I cant fucking b-breath” I said in between laughs. “Let me GO!” He finally lets go. All the boys are laughing because they know I hate being tickled!

“Yeah, thanks for helping me guys” saying it with sarcasm in my voice. “Well, hey that’s what you get for punching me in my arm” jack said as he wrapped him arm around me.

“Alright, whatever. Everybody out, lets get to the club already.” We all head out and grab a taxi. I text Charlie “Thinking of you :)” and then put it back in my purse before heading into the club. Club 49 was packed tonight. Thankfully we got a table and started partying. A few drinks later we were all shit faced. We were all having a good time and then Sexy and I know It came on and I freaked out.

“Ahh guys someone come dance with me! This is my fucking song!” I said kind of slurring my words. Jack volunteered and we headed to the dance floor. We were really getting into the song and dancing.

“Nicole can I tell you something” Jack trying to act seriously but he couldn’t help but laugh saying it because he was so drunk.

“Please don’t tell me you knocked some girl up” I said laughing.

“No haha I wanted-“ I cut him off because I noticed something from the corner of my eye. I swore I saw Charlie.

“Jack” I yell to him because the music was so loud “Is that Charlie over there?”
“I-I don’t know I cant tell” he pulls me closer to the guy and that’s when I recognize that it is Charlie. I then see him pull some random girl in and start making out with her. That’s when I spilled my drink. I ran back to the table to grab my purse and ran to the exit.

I heard Alex, Rian, and Zack call my name multiple times but I didn’t stop and just head straight out of there before I did anything stupid. So much was going through my mind at that point. I couldn’t believe that he would just cheat on me like that. Maybe Alex was right, that bastard didn’t deserve me.

I took a taxi home and ignored all calls and texts from the boys. I knew Id have to face them tomorrow but I did not need to fall apart in front of my best friends right now. When I got home I immediately got out of my clothes and got into bed. All these thoughts running through my head weren’t helping me. I just cried and cried and wished that this would all go away, when I heard a knock on my door.

It was Jack. “Nicole” he said with sympathy in his voice. “hey I am so sorry about tonight. If it makes anything better Zack punched the douche in the face. But he’s staying at Alex’s and Rian’s cause he busted up his hand pretty bad so they were wrapping it up for him”

No words came out, just tears. He came over and started holding me and telling everything would be okay and how he’s a douche for cheating on me, all the stuff your friends say to comfort you.

I did feel comfort in Jack’s arms though. He made me feel safe. Like nothing could harm me in his arms.

After I calmed down after about an hour Jack looked at me and said “Listen, he is a douche if he doesn’t see that what he had was perfect. He doesn’t deserve you if he thinks he can do such a piece of shit thing to someone as beautiful as you Nicole….but, I um should go now though. Call me if you need anything and ill come by tomorrow”

I hadn’t said anything but when he said he was leaving I held him tighter and said “Jack, please just stay tonight”
