Trial and Error

Kateri is the only daughter of the Gwich'in tribe's chief and the lone sister of the heir, Viho. That's not the only burden to place upon her shoulders, after her mother's death at the age of seven, she became the only priestess in the village. Now at the age of seventeen she takes her important role to look after the tribe with her family.

Tokala on the other hand is rebellious and has finally turned eighteen, finally eligible to join the Gwich'in's army. He dreams of traveling the world and learning about other village's. He absolutely hates being tied down and doesn't follow any rules. Obviously, he doesn't know a thing about being part of the army.
