It's More Than Nature

Red-Handed

My car did not move.

Alarmed, I slammed the gas again, but the dated Firebird just sat there like a rusty old cow and idled. I cursed.

Drac Freak glared at me, eyes wide as he realized what was going on. I wasn't going anywhere. He smirked and got out of his car, striding upto me with the smirk still in place. I glared. "Fuck. OFF." He grinned. "Gonna make me?"

I nodded and went for my gun, but before I could even get near it my hand was on fire. I gritted my teeth through the pain and held it to my side, glaring at the Drac. His gun still smoked. "FUCK!" I yelled, unable to hold it back. Drac's smirk grew, and he drew nearer and dragged me to his car by my PRECIOUS HAIR. I did not give in quietly. I did not tell myself I deserved it. I most certainly did not tell the Drac to fuck off again. No, my friends, I freaked. I kicked whatever was there, bit, clawed, howled like a dying animal. But all it got me was a missing chunk of hair. I yelped. He seemed intent on beating the living shit out of me.

The Drac tossed me in the back of his car, where I noticed a translucent-Kevlar screen blocked me from blowing his head off.

I growled.

"Fucker."

He smirked and went back to driving, safe in the knoewledge I'd never be able to hurt him.

But I could.

Because once again, he didn't know my 'special talent'.

I grinned and wrapped my good hand around the bloody singed other one, the grin growing into something amazing as the wound slowly healed.

And then I put a hand through the Kevlar.
