The Highs and Lows of The Day
Alexs POV:
The next morning Sophie woke me up before she left for work, it was almost 7am. I got up and showered and got dressed then i went and made breakfast. As soon as the food was done i woke up Casey and Micah, they both were like me not morning people. As soon as they were dressed and fed we watched tv for a bit before i took them to school. After i left them at school i decided to go to Jacks, its better then being all alone. I went to Jacks used my key to get in.
"Jack?" i yelled
"Alex?, what are you doing here so early?" Melinda said walking in the room
"Sophies at work and the kids are at school. I didnt wanna go home and be alone. Dont you have work, why are you home?" i asked
"I had a doctors appointment yesterday and they said somthing about putting stress on the baby. So they told me to take a few days off" she said
"The babys okay, right?" i said concerned
"Yep. Absolutely fine" she said
"Good" i said
"Melinda who- oh hey" Jack said coming in the room he sounded all congested
"Hey nasaly" i laughed
"Shut up. I get congested in my sleep leave me alone" he said
"Go eat a jalapeno" Melinda said
"We dont have any" he said
"Yeah we do. Ive been eating them ever since you were gone" she said and i looked at her like she was nuts
"Your poor child!" i said
"Its not gonna harm him...her. Besides its like my only craving" she said
"That explains why when we got home the other night after you were done puking and i went to use the bathroom it smelled weird" Jack said
"What did it smell like?" i said
"Poptarts, cream, cheese and. Jalapenos. Jalapenos was the most instense smell out of all of them" he said
"Yum" i said grossed out
Later that day me and Jack went to pick up Casey and Micah from school. Casey asked if we could go to the playground and i said sure, it was super nice out side. I told Jack to call Zack to see if he and Charlotte wanted to join and he said sure and that he'd meet us there. Once we got there Casey and Micah went off to play, ten minutes later Zack and Charlotte arrived.
"Do you think im to old to go down the swirly slide?" Jack said
"Uhmmm yeah, uless looking like a creep is your thing. Then go for it" i said
"Damn!" he said
"To bad" i said as a blonde girl came over to us
"Hi" she said
"Hi" we said
"So whats your name?" she asked Jack sounding flirty, im embaressed for her
"Jack, yours?" he said
"Rebecca" she said
"Nice to meet you" he said
"Nice to meet you to, so which kid is yours?" she asked
"Uhm. None actually mines not here, just here with my friends and their kids" he said
"Oh okay. So are you a single father?" she asked and i put my hand near my face to block them out and so they couldnt see me laughing
"Nope, married. And my babys still in my wifes stomach" Jack said
"Oh!. Wow, im sorry" she said
"Its okay" Jack said and she walked away
"Ahh!, that was majorly awkward!" i laughed
"What can i say im hot, ladies want what they cant have" he said and i laughed again
"Yes they do" Zack said
Later we left the park and i dropped Jack off at home. When me and the twins got home they sat at the dinning room table to do homework while i cooked. The whole day has been a very good calm one, i love it. A little while later i heard the door open, Casey and Micah got up and ran to the door. I knew it had to be Sophie.
"Hey Alex" Sophie said
"Hey" i said
"So how was your day?" she asked as Casey and Micah went back to their homework
"Good me, Zack and Jack took Casey, Charlotte and Micah to the playground and Jack got hit on" i said and she laughed
"Awww poor Jack" she said
"Yep" i said as the phone rang and Sophie answered it and then came over to me
"Here its Jack" she said and i took the phone and she went to help Casey with somthing
"Hello?" i said
"Alex!, dude get down to the ER!" Jack said and i froze
"Why?" i asked
"Its Melinda, i dont know what happened dude. I mean she was fine but crampy and then she went pee and there was blood. I dont no i freaked and rushed her to the hospital. You and Sophie need to get down here!" he said freaking out
"What!?, okay we just need to drop the twins off with my parents and we'll be there" i said
"Okay" he said and hung up and i hung up and turned off the stove and leaned against the counter
"Alex, what did Jack want?" Sophie asked
"I...i feel like im gonna be sick" i said
"What?, Alex whats wrong?. Are you okay?, is Jack okay?" she said and walked over to me
"Jack took Melinda to the ER" i said
"What?!" she said
"Yeah he said there was blood and i dont no. Sophie im no doctor but isnt that a sign of a miscarriage?" i said
"Yeah" she said

Awww! poor Jack and Melinda. I was very hesistant about the miscarriage thing because its somthing thats devistating. You know?. I just dont wanna like upset anyone whose experienced it. Also little fun fact: i put the little thing that Jack wakes up congested into the chapter because i occasionly wake up congested haha, is anyone the same way?.comment! :)
