The Future is Now

Sophies POV:
The next day i got up and got ready for work, took a fast shower and got dressed. After i ate and hungout for a bit i left. The whole day wasnt to busy for me for some reason, not that that was a bad thing or anything. While i was in the middle of doing stitches on someone there was a knock on the door and a nurse walked in.

"Hey Sophie, you have a phone call" she said

"Who is it?" i asked

"The elementry school" she said and i started to get nervous

"Take over" i said

"Yep" she said and handed i her the stuff and left the room and went to the nurses station and picked up the phone

"Hello?" i said

"Hi is this Mrs. Gaskarth?" the woman said

"Yes it is. Whose this?" i said

"This is Mrs. Warener the principal of Salem elementry school" she said

"Oh, okay. What can i do for you?" i said

"Theres a situation with your son" she said

"What situation?" i said

"Can you just please come to the school so i can discuss this with you and your husband?" she asked

"Yeah" i said

"Okay see you soon" she said and hungup

I told my boss i needed to leave early, luckily she was understanding and let me go. I drove over to the school and walked into the office. I told the secretary i needed to talk to the principal and she directed me to her office. When i got to the office Alex was sitting on a chair, i sat next to him.

"Hey babe" he said

"Hey" i said

"So why do you think were here?" he asked

"No clue" i said as the door opened

"Come on in" the principal said and we followed her into her office

"So why are we here?" Alex asked

"It seems Micah and another boy Jacob have been getting into little arguments lately. And today it escalated, Micah punched Jacob" she said

"Thats my boy!" Alex said

"Alex!" i said hitting his arm

"Sorry, so again. Why are we here?" he said

"Right well i just wanted to see if theres been any of this at home. Like little fits of anger" she said

"Not at all" i said

"Well you might wanna keep a eye on him" she said

"Deffinetly" i said

Later that night Jack was over and was helping Casey with her homework. I was cooking dinner and Alex was in our room, he was talking to Micah since he started fighting with Casey. After a few minutes Alex came into the kitchen.

"He takes after me so much" Alex laughed

"Really?" i asked

"Yeah i was a little brat" he said

"Fantastic Alex" i said sarcastic

"Yep, and i made him stay in our room so he couldnt play" he said

"Smart" i said and we heard loud smash

"What was that!?" Jack said

"No clue" i said and me and Alex ran to our room and i opened the door and there was a smashed picture frame on the floor and a guitar on the floor

"Micah what the hells going on" Alex said

"Oopsy" Micah said pretending to be innocent and i picked up the guitar which had two broken strings. And the frame, which was Alex's platinum record

"Alex" i said and he looked over

"What the hell?!, i cant believe this!" Alex said angry

"Relax this is all fixable" i said

"I sorry daddy" Micah said sadly

"Sorry isnt gonna cut it" Alex said

"Alex!" i yelled at him

"You think im gonna like reward him and not yell, of course im gonna yell!" Alex yelled back

"Shut up!" i said

"This is ridiculous-...forget it" he said and took the guitar and left the room

"Ignore daddy hes a big baby" i said to Micah

"Yeah" he said and he giggled making me smile

I put what was left of the frame on the bed and cleaned up the broken glass, Micah just sat quietly on our bed. He seemed really freaked out and i dont blame him, Alex has never yelled at him before. After i cleaned i carried Micah to the kitchen where everyone was. Alex was fixing his guitar and Jack and Casey were doing homework. I sat Micah down next to Alex and went over to Casey and Jack.

"Hows it going?" i asked

"Good!, uncle Jack is helping me add big numbers!" Casey said

"Good, Micah go get your homework and do it with uncle Jack and Casey" i said

"Okay" Micah said and went to get his backpack

He came back and set his backpack on the table. He took out his folder and his homework. I picked up his folder and looked through it, i found a picture that he made that said daddy on top. I looked on the back and it said my daddys a rockstar. I thought the picture was adorable.

"Micah what was this for?" i asked him showing him the picture

"For a project, we had to make a picture of what our mommy or daddy does for work and label it. I did daddy and Casey did you" Micah said

"Cute, see this Alex?" i said passing the picture to Alex

"Nice, i love you buddy" he said and got up to hug Micah

"I love you to" Micah said

"Im sorry i yelled at you. I was just mad, your more important to me then a guitar or picture" Alex said

"Awww" i said
